Pick what class feels best, what you want to do most. Do you want to be up close holding them off or further away putting in some serious damage?. Do you want to heal your group or kill the enemy, think it through, mess around and find out.

 

 

 

There's no huge differences in races towards end game, at the start it's helpful but at the end it really means [bleep] all. It's all down to what one you like the look of best.

Just get the original for now. If you decide you like the game get The Burning Crusade then WotLK.

 

 

 

For beginning classes I suggest hunter or mage. they are expected to do anything in an instance except do damage and they don't have quests that have you running throughout Azeroth.

yes it has a monthly fee. I have no idea what it is stateside though, I'd imagine maybe double the runescape members fee.

 

You cant play lich king without the burning crusade. But dont bother buying an expansion until you decide whether you like the game or not.

You can pay monthly via Credit card or through pre-paid cards bought for cash in most good game retail stores. Don't bother buying any expansions until you're about level 50, then buy BC so you're ready for 61-70 and WOTLK if you want to become a death knight (level 55)

Got maexxna down to 80k, the mian tank had just dropped, OT picked her up perfectly and because this is lagtheridon, server goes offline...Everyone got disheartened and we didint down her in the next few attempts, a little bit more dps and shes as good as dead.

if you live whee i do, that is not an option. All i see everywhere are frickin battle chests, so I ended up with burning crusade from the get go.

Awesome night of progress in naxx tonight:

 

Maexxna down, although it was because of an addition of a shaman with CH and BL that we downed her with ease

 

Patchwerk one shotted, killed him with about a minute on the enrage timer

 

Grobblus was the trickiest of the encounters, Tank was going round too fast at firstm, poison clouds were just ending up everwhere, then we changed tack dropping poisons in front off the tank who was walking backwards, this despite 4 people dying in the first 10% was our best attempt getting ehr down to 15%.The next attmpted we mixed strategys and decided to just dump the poisons in the corner on the ramp, downed him with ease.

 

Gluth was teh first boss where we had to draft in another player to kill him.Brought in an unholy DK which meant that we could control the adds but had overall less dps for the fight, we killed him with 10 seconds left on his descration thing...

 

Thaddius, Already went over our allocated raid time so we had 2 attempts on him.First attempted we wiped on the mini bosses, second we wiped because 2 dps fell before reaching the platform so we already wasted about 600k damge =S

 

 

 

Im loving naxx, as far as im concerned its tuned perfectly for what it is, an introductory raid instance and it was eventually our effort which payed dividence in these fights and not gear.You can say kara was easy but for a new guild it was rock solid, Attunemen was hard but once guilds went onto maiden they hit a brick wall with the holy fire debuff and moroes for the crowd control.

I could have joined a raiding guild and have cleared naxx 25 man but im enjoying 10 mans so much.The only things the require are the essentials like a food buff and a flask and access to ventrilo.The G leader is still leveling up so we have the officers taking over and the only time they did rage was because of sundays lag in naxx which was disgusting.

 

 

 

Also, come back and tell me that at 80, when youre not trying to level 8 characters all at once :P

Well Valio's GM and officers go nerdrage according to my friend who was/is officer in there.. now he plays on alliance in the same guild as I :)

 

 

 

Thaddius, Gluth, 4 Horsemen the pug killer bosses imo, in those 40 mans we did - People still failed at them miserabely even tho most of the people had cleared bt to halfway atleast

I don't even play the game anymore, but most of the time on my rogue raiding I didn't have top end armor enchants. I had dual mongoose, sure, but I wasn't spending a ton of gold on getting another +2 agility. Come on, even in a 10 minute long fight that's maybe another 2000 damage added. :roll:

 

 

 

I don't see how it could be lazy anyways when we're playing a game. If the boss goes down, it goes down. Sorry but a +2 enchant is never going to be the difference between a wipe and success. :lol:

2 tanks for Blauemaux and Zeliek should be imo A DK of any spec, and perhaps fury warr / druid.. anything that gets high hp with buffs.. :P and since DKs get magic dmg reducement it is good for it

Currently trying to get Loremaster of Northrend for the other cloak recipe which is very rare - Only 2 Loremasters on my server ;-) One is an ally and the other is BS/JC anyway (He was server first for BS, JC, FA, Level 80, Level 80 Belf, Level 80 Pala). So I would be the first to obtain that recipe.

I had a really bad run for that actually, the tanks had no sense of direction and kept kiting the the boss into the casters so our DPS could have been much higher. A mage has done 6585 DPS on Patchwerk in Naxx25. Mages DPS varies wildly depending on how many crits we get - From 3,000 to 8,000 (Possible but highly unlikely) in current 'end-game' gear.

Its funny to laugh the first time but when where trying to kill grobbullus and players are unecessarily and for no reason whatsoever because they werent exactly in the centre or they werent in the middle of the streams of ooze.I wouldnt mind at all if there was some consistency to it but there isnt any at all, our tank bugged out the minigame and somehow managed to walk over them yet the next time it doesnt work. Sometimes you can get real close and it doesnt kill you, in the middle it still kills you. Theres absolutely no consitency and this was in old naxx, and i dont know what the hell players were thinking calling it the best raid instance ever made.

 

 

 

We would have downed grobbulus with ease if those hadnt have taken time, a resto shaman then had to leave because of time so we were doing it 9 man (which actually isnt much harder, in fact its a little easier if you get lucky with mutations because theres less pison clouds) and wipes can take 3x as long to recover because of frogger and the group being split up.The abomination wing upto Gluth is just a shambles in my oppinion.So yeah Gluth was a given kill since we had the correct setup for it and thaddius if you position correctly is a piece of cake.I really wanted to get 4h down and start the plague quarter aswell as the final bosses.We would have then had a whole week yet its just a stupid setback for a lame-[wagon] frogger minigame which doesnt really need to be there.

I don't have the expansion, but I remember that in naxx at level 60. We used to say One shot patchwerk, wipe to frogger.
