Not sure what happened but, again, I'm back in WoW. It's purely from a fairly casual perspective -- I am going to be leveling a mage alongside my friend who is doing a priest with the goal of just kind of doing end game arena and PvP stuff. Its funny to laugh the first time but when where trying to kill grobbullus and players are unecessarily and for no reason whatsoever because they werent exactly in the centre or they werent in the middle of the streams of ooze.I wouldnt mind at all if there was some consistency to it but there isnt any at all, our tank bugged out the minigame and somehow managed to walk over them yet the next time it doesnt work. Sometimes you can get real close and it doesnt kill you, in the middle it still kills you. Theres absolutely no consitency and this was in old naxx, and i dont know what the hell players were thinking calling it the best raid instance ever made.

I don't have the expansion, but I remember that in naxx at level 60. We used to say One shot patchwerk, wipe to frogger.

 

 

 

Yeah in those OSR (i only played 6 months of vanilla wow :<) we had we had always fraps and counting on deaths on frogger, highest was like 20, some people feign deathed under them so they won't die, then i go and ice block and they die =D

Yeah, something like that. I just wish there were more MMOs out there that were more stable and had the kind of content WoW does right now. Still there are a few on the outlook I'm interested in.

I have. The problem was that I was in the best guild on the server and, honestly, we didn't have much competition. Eventually any fights we did would just turn into destro zerging us and it wasn't any fun. I still think that WAR is much better than AoC and that Mythic are great devs, I just don't know if it was for me.

 

 

 

 

 

So for clarification I'm not saying WAR is a bad game by any means, I just don't think it was my kind of game.

I think a lot of people returning after "quitting" during TBC will be pleasantly suprised this time around. Blizzard dun good.

Indeed, all the raids are attuned perfectly in my opinion so far. We started Naxx10 yesterday, finished off the Arachnid Quarter and have downed Patchwerk in the Abomination Quarter. Since most of our members are new we had to explain the tactics to every boss so it took a long time. We are continuing today by finishing off the Abomination Quarter then going onto the Plague Quarter. We'll see how it goes. :P

 

 

 

I got some nice epic boots, our CL outrolled me on the caster sword from Faerlina and the gloves from Anub'Rhekan. Hopefully we'll have some T7 by the end of today!

Insane was asking me why our raid group kept wiping in naxx but if im honest, it isnt a raid group since where constantly rotating peopel in and out to gear tehm up and get peopel more familiar with encounters.The only people who have been consistent within those groups are me,mantikore the one leading the encounters and the guilds MT twix. People are grasping the encounters very quickly and only fights like grobbulus, thaddius and Gothikk have been problems. Gothikk shouldnt have been a problem since we one shot him on our first attempt but we had the wrong setup, too many healers and not enough dps on the UD side but oncfe one of our warlocks point this out we downed his immediatley.So now where back where we were at the 4H and we dont leave till we down them and clear the military quarter :P

Our Guild's pretty well set for Tanks, but we're starved for healers, mainly. But it's good, we've got another 2 (Shaman, Priest) in their mid-70s ready to lay down the epix healz once they reach 80.

Social Guilds are mad fun. The one I'm in (Camping Centrelink) is basically my friend's clanmates' one. I'm only in it because I got the mad connections. :0 Nah, they're one of the top clans in Aus for 2142, and were pretty great at CoD4. Great community feel. They're all great people. :>

Once I hit 80 I dont intend to get into the raiding scene. One of the people in my year keeps bugging me to make a guild with him, so I might do that, or might just join a big social guild and PuG some of the easier stuff.

Kinda glad I actually sold my WoW-account. I know I'd be back hardcore now if I did'nt.. :P

Nah man, if you wanted to hear bragging it's that I had the highest healing done in a scenario out of any warrior priest in the game, I think. At least when I posted the SS no WP could one up me. ;)
