June 2, 200719 yr Hehe, me and a rl mate just did a "drunken MC run" with some 13~ random players from my server. Everybody was more or less plastered (one of them was on speed), especially the maintank. :P But most of them came from guilds that raid SSC and Magtheridon on a daily basis so they didn't exactly die easy. We stormed through the instance to the first boss extremely fast (priests and mages were pulling mobs... - utter chaos!) and downed him on our first try. Then most of us got bored and left. Great fun though. MC still remains my favourite raid instance in the game. :)
June 2, 200719 yr just finished my first ever Zul'Gurub run, and bloody hell some of the bosses are hard, we finished it with 17 people... just. I didnt get a single good drop, not that i was expecting much, i just went for the experience tbh. ZG is a pretty fun raid. Was thinking of running it on my mage to get poly turtle and try for either of the mounts. Got some fond memories of doing ZG pre BC and everyone on vent going nuts on Hakkar. 'Get the poison! GET THE POISON!' :P
June 2, 200719 yr @Nad: Mage. No healers! I love alts and have leveled many to a respectable level and I have to say... I always have high hopes for healing classes, but I always end up shelving them. I'd go with the Mage for being wanted in groups for good CC/dps (I always see LFM mage sl/etc.).

I'm probably going to shelve the idea of playing an alt a bit more for now though, I just don't feel like leveling anything. :) Finnaly got my epic ring from the spirit shards I've been saving up (50). Now my only green left is some green throwing weapon >_<.

June 2, 200719 yr I canceled my WoW subscription today :( . I really enjoyed it and maybe one day i'll get back into it but it was just getting boring for me. Plus if I play the way I did the past 5 months I wont cut it when I start college next semester (i'm doing 19 credit hours :uhh:). Gamertag: King Arizona
June 2, 200719 yr Yeah if I were you Nad, if you wanna group a lot go with the mage. For the quickest levelling though, stick with your hunter. Great in 1vs1, level very quickly and it's also a really good challenge to play very well. Anyone can play a hunter, but only a few can play a hunter well. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.

It was mainly people from "Who", "Order of The Hammer", "Senseless", ex "Angeli Della Morte" members etc. Who are "Mythic"? Never heard of them and they don't appear in Shattered Hand's Wowwiki article.
June 2, 200719 yr go fire for your mage. You can only get talents every time you level and yeah, each point helps. IDK about UIs, just look around. Anyways I'm thinking of an alt but IDK which guy to play. A few choices: 29 lock 21 hunter 20 druid 62 shaman (don't really wanna play him, but i'd spec resto :S) 43 mage not sure which one to play. Is it a bad thing I already spent 11 points on Arcane? Too late to change or no.. Trix.--quit WoW as of 12/07Thank you 4be2jue for the wonderful sig and avatar!
June 2, 200719 yr Any trainer will let you re-spec. It costs more and more the more you re-spec. 11 points isn' the end of the world, but probably worth putting them somewhere else. I'd go frost, btw : This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.

Shattered halls is a new eu realm that came out with TBC, theres a raiding guild called mythic on it that does Drunken MC raiding sometimes. just thought it might have been them. when i saw u say SH i thought u mean Shattered halls, not shattered hand. w00t w00t.. third onyxia kill and i got the head ^^ and a nice epic cape.

Too late to change or no.. it costs 1g for the first time, 5g for the next so on, and also try keeping to one table when spending your points as you can get more out of the talents that way

Oh yeah, my bad. I used to play on that server, and a bunch of friends still do, so I recognised the name "Mythic", but couldn't remember seeing any (progressing) guilds with that name on Shattered Hand. And grats on the cape. :)

Yeah my hunter is ez mode, especially with the mend pet change. I'm just trying to still gear up my rogue since I found out I'm going to kara this wensday. :)

So he told me to unlearn if I didn't want arcane. I went with fire because most of the spells I use are fire aside from Nova. I went with fire because most of the spells I use are fire aside from Nova. fire is better for massive burst DPS and raids, frost is good for solo grinding and crowd control. Arcane.. um... Dont bother with arcane. Strangely from 60+ im beginning to notice that as a holy priest i can dps a hell of a lot better than i used to be able to. Now all my spells do at least 800 and crit well over 1000, when previously i'd be lucky to crit 800. I didnt think the better gear would make that much of a difference. Also - surge of light is a fantastic talent, automatic free smite whenever i crit smite. in other words.. about 2k damage from a 2 second cast, which is pretty damn good for a holy priest.
June 2, 200719 yr Fire until 50 then frost, IMO. Water elemental helps tons with the group quests in Outlands and finishing up Azeroth. There's no beating fire 1-50 though. I just did it the past month and I have to say, it was very fast. And speaking of soloing elites... I soloed Tethis, bagthera, Bangalash, the giant for the captain's chest, the elite 40 demon for The Corrupter series in Desolace, etc. etc. I actually found that it was easier to solo elites with just pure up-front damage rather than kiting with frost - but I see how frost can be useful later on for elites that have more health in Outland.

June 3, 200719 yr wait...why rank one? For the short cast-time probably. My 70 mage friend still has his rank 1 frostbolt hotkeyed.

June 3, 200719 yr Location:USA Server:Firetree Gendorin Level 8 Blood Elf Warlock Server:Burning Blade Razshil Level 3 Tauren Druid  You can't ever find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "(bleep) you" right under your nose. Try it sometime. I think, even, if I ever die, and they stick me in a cemetery, and I have a tombstone and all, it'll say "Holden Caulfield" on it, and then what year I was born and what year I died, and then right under that it'll say "(bleep) you."

Out of interest, because so many people still use rank 1, would you bother training to get rank 2, 3, 4 etc? This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.

Out of interest, because so many people still use rank 1, would you bother training to get rank 2, 3, 4 etc? Well yes. The higher ranks are still needed for damage. The reason I have a rank 1 frostbolt is for when I need a quick slow without damage (like if I'm a fire spec). Part of my kiting might include using a rank 1 frostbolt because of the faster cast.
