yeah that was hillarious around the time people should have been getting off of school and work housands of level ones came into the shattered halls and we had a naked dancing party inside of the abbey at northshire funnily enough there were way more girl characters than guys :thumbsup:

Yeah I had to manually update my stuff. It wouldn't have been a big deal but stupid me downloaded a new mod trying something different and (even though I backed up the old one) I didn't back up the old UI scale.

dinged 62 and did my first underbogs run.. bloody hell some of those mobs hit hard. We had a 70 druid in the group but he was messing up so badly we just kicked him in the end.. he wiped us 3 times with terrible pulls.

I'm thinking it was a dumb idea, at least at this point in the game for me :lol: It's fun actually being a sneaky rogue type for once, but I don't think I'll stay for long since I solo a lot. I want to try it out in some instances but my server is awful now, the population is crazy low (nazjatar) and getting a group is nigh impossible.

I leveled mutilate 60-70 and never looked back.

 

 

 

Like I said earlier in this thread this is your soloing:

 

 

 

Cheapshot > Mutilate > wait for 70 energy > Kidney shot > Mutilate > Mutilate > Eviscerate/Envenom

 

 

 

That can kill just about any mob my level. I would go Mutilate/sub (41/0/20) until you hit 70 just because you don't get the good stuff for mut/combat until 70.

Wow, a 70 druid messing up there? Me and the guys I run with don't even take stuff like shadow lab serriously lol. We'll pull like 8 mobs at a time and stuff (Tank is an amazing prot paladin) :P

I'm digging it now that I'm more used to it. I'm still not quite sure what to do when I get attacked by surprise other than SS a few times or whatever, or when theres multi mobs, but 1v1 this is fun.

Sunday Afternoon. I think about 3pm server time. It's in STV, booty bay.

just finished my first ever Zul'Gurub run, and bloody hell some of the bosses are hard, we finished it with 17 people... just.

 

 

 

 

 

I didnt get a single good drop, not that i was expecting much, i just went for the experience tbh.

MM I just tried stockades...What a failure our group was... :? . I may get some guildies later and try again. Also did VC twice. Only one trip was successful.

I dumped my 60 BE pally and am now working on a BE mage (56!). I totally agree about the low level pugs being terrible. Was in a Sunken Temple group yesterday with a well-geared warrior (4.5k HP, two blue BoE axes, etc.) but it was obvious he was ebayed. He had no clue how to do anything, didn't know what "DPS" was, needed on a cloak with +12 spirit... it was terrible.

 

 

 

Is anyone else irritated when people go AFK without saying anything? I've become friends with someone on my server and we're usually always in a group so it is easier to talk. However, he constantly goes AFK when we are questing together (I fly all the way to SG for example (not a small feat for Horde)). I guess that isn't so bad except I'm spending my time helping him with stuff yet he doesn't have the courtesy to let me know he's gone for ten minutes. :P It's worse with groups, however - the last few groups I was in, people were making food, talking on the phone, doing everything BUT completing the instance properly.

 

 

 

You know... waste time when you aren't wasting other people's. The instance should only take one hour - set aside that amount of time, stop doing other crap and making other people's gameplay miserable. I've had more problems with people disappearing than actual bad players.

Why must it be impossible to find a decent group? I've literally searched for a group for Steam Vaults and Arcatraz 1/4 of yesterday, and the entire day today. No luck at all. People either have no clue how to play their class (usually tanks or healers, ironically) or people just decide to leave when we're close to a full group. It's starting to piss me off, because I just need to do these two instances for Karazhan prequest. It shouldn't be this hard.

A PUG is a "pick up group" darkmage. Getting people you know isn't a pug. :)

Yeah, I'm quite seriously thinking of leaving my current guild and joining one with more level 70's for this very reason.

Still, the best group I've ever been in was in HFC-SH, a PuG - experienced tank (a friend), brilliant holy priest (guildie), a lock from one of the top guilds on the realm and a mage who knew the instance back-to-front.

A PUG is a Pick-Up-Group. With people whom you mostly don't know.

 

 

 

IF got raided a few times after my guild killed Thrall two days in a row :P That was fun, mostly they failed though on IF.

 

 

 

The back road to Thrall was just too easy for a lvl 60 guild with two full raids mostly tier 2.

The instances are fairly similar with the exception that SFK may get run more often - and BFD too, I think. Ragefire Chasm (RFC) is level 14-18 or so but I never bother with that one. Then there's Wailing Caverns, the equivalent to the Deadmines for Horde - both sides can run either one, btw.

 

 

 

UC gets raided but never to Sylvanas - I've only heard of one killing of her ever? Because Varimathras, another boss, is not five feet away. It's probably pretty hard to manage both at one time. But then again, there's one next to Thrall too, isn't there?

Oh sounds fun. I've ran SFK on my alliance gnome. Haha didn't do much because I just went along wtih 4 other people who where 25+ (guildies). Quite fun watching a 40 killing all those dudes.

go fire for your mage.

 

 

 

You can only get talents every time you level and yeah, each point helps.

 

 

 

IDK about UIs, just look around.

 

 

 

 

 

Anyways I'm thinking of an alt but IDK which guy to play. A few choices:
