May 25, 200719 yr Gruul is pretty easy now tbh, finally managed to kill Magtheridon last night - pretty awesome fight. From what I can see, the new patch hasn't really brought anyone any bad and has only positive responses. :) Only negative response I've heard from friends is that Karazhan (I don't remember if they mentioned other raid instances) are just easy-mode after the patch. One of my friends' guild had a lot of trouble with Prince in Karazhan before the patch... and now it's hardly any fun at all, he's way easier now. I just hit 69 btw. And upon reaching it a friend msged me saying that the guild he's in just fell apart. This is a guild that was raiding Magtheridon, and I had a 100% secure spot in it (my friend is the mage CL) as soon as I hit 70 and got some decent blue gear and done the Karazhan prequest. Just my luck. :(

Just my luck. :( Ouch :P . Most of my guildies are getting close to 70 now which makes me very happy in the pants. We've only ran random 5 mans and old world raids together but we work really well and everyone in the guild knows how to play. You can get to kara without doing heroics correct? I need to get the keying quest for it... :P At any rate I can see us getting into kara possibly in a few weeks. Most members are in their high 60's. by the way I look like an utter badass now >_>. Got the WSG tabard just because how cool it looks with my upcoming T3.5 set i'm working on getting. (have shoulders)
May 25, 200719 yr p.s. In the AH, how much is linen cloth each? It will be different on every server - try searching for it and checking the highest and lowest prices.
May 26, 200719 yr Better yet, get an AH add-on. Bottom scanner and some other one (can't remember the name, but popular!) are great tools. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
May 26, 200719 yr I've never thought about it, but how are Druids in the game? After looking at another MMO (Not playing it, but reading up on it), ive come to the conclusion that im better at support roles, rather then straightforward roles (Preist, mage, warrior). I basically see Druids as being a support roles as they can do a bit of everything (Well, only tanking a bit in bear form i guess). I will come back to burning blade during the summer (Assuming i dont get absorbed by this other mmo), and i think i might become a Druid (of course tauren then.) Sig by IkuraiYour Guide to Posting! Druids aren't support, they are hybrid. They can Tank about as well as a Prot Warrior, Heal about as well as a Holy Priest, and even a well geared Boomkin can DPS like a Mage. No one takes them as support, they play their equivalent roles well enough to be considered 'main'. If you really want a support class, make a Shaman. :ohnoes: We downed the Horsey guy and the Rogue guy in Karazhan today, pretty good considering it was the first time those people had done it together, my guild decided we needed two groups to get people gear more effectively. We are doing the Stage thingy tomorrow(yes, I am bad with names haha), I got those Bracers of the White Stag, they are pretty nice.
May 26, 200719 yr :? But ive already made a shaman multiple times, and Nadril said they got nerfed. Sig by IkuraiYour Guide to Posting! Behave or I will send my Moose mounted Beaver launchers at you!
May 26, 200719 yr Author There really aren't any "support" roles in this game like some have. The closest would be a shaman or paladin because of buffs but that is really about it. Druids are pretty much a class that can fullfill one roll almost as good as their parrent class but with an added bonus. For example a feral druid can tank/dps close to what a prot warrior/rogue can but he also provides a 5%+ crit buff to the group he is in. A moonkin can get close to a caster in dps but provides a 5%+ Spell crit buff. Resto druids just kind of heal though.

May 26, 200719 yr Ha. Seems so obvious now :P This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
May 27, 200719 yr Resto druids just kind of heal though. The resto druid in my guild is constantly being approached from other, more advanced guilds. He's been in several Kara groups with them and they love him.
May 27, 200719 yr Just started a priest on a PVP server (Gul'Dan). I was wondering if any of you have some experience on PVP servers. Once I got to 20 I went to Hillsbrad and I can't count how many times I've been ganked. I'm up to 24 now and I headed west to Stonetalon (or whatever its called). This place seems to have less people, which is good, I've only done a few quests but haven't been killed yet. Can you recommend some other places with relatively low populations where I wont be killed every 2 minutes?
May 27, 200719 yr It happens, mate, it always will. Stonetalon is pretty scarce in that account, but wherever you go some lvl 70 will attack a 20 for whatever reason, make themselves feel tough, try and get a crit record. Meh. It's the rough with the smooth though. World PvP with people around your level is awesome, adding a whole new element to leveling. Every game has griefers, but I sure as hell would hate to see a small level-attack limit. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.

So, if you want to make a Druid, be prepared to do a lot of healing.

I've leveled up a lot on this server (PvP) and love it. You get used to being able to get away from gankers and, trust me, the tides turn once you level up  I'm currently working on getting keyed for kara, need two more key fragments I think. Sad thing is I think i'm going to raid with this different group of people before I raid with my guild.
May 27, 200719 yr Finally dinged 70. Wow, I am so freaking sick of leveling and questing now. Also got my groovy flying mount. I didn't realise you can basically fly anywhere on these. It's great. Now to the instance-running-craze-phase of the game. :) Oh, and some arena pwning with my friends.

Today 4 level 16s and I (level 16) went to the instance in Westfall (VC or something?). We didn't make it the whole way but we could've. Probably the most fun I've had on this game.. For me, when the other side comes to raid Westfall they usually don't kill anyone except NPCs....hmm. They only kill me when I cast polymorph. It's pretty fun because the graveyard is right there. Trix.--quit WoW as of 12/07Thank you 4be2jue for the wonderful sig and avatar!

It's great. Now to the instance-running-craze-phase of the game. :) Oh, and some arena pwning with my friends. Gratz man! :) Hopefully you have a good group of guys to run instances with. I was getting annoyed at PUG'ing so I started running with this group of people one of my guildies does. Yesterday alone I think we ran Black Morass twice, Shadow lab, Arcatraz and got our keys from a few places for kara atunement. I also started up some arena teams. Our ratings aren't good at all but we're still getting the hang down of working with each other. At least in my 2v2 and 3v3 team we have stayed even or so . My 5v5 team is just to get some arena points. Still the arena is the most fun I've had with PvP. Even though we are really outgeared it feels amazing when you pull a plan off perfectly. my team is a bit weird, 2v2 I've been running with me and a shadow priest and 3v3 we mostly ran with me, a shadow priest and an ele shaman.

So, if you want to make a Druid, be prepared to do a lot of healing. At low levels you can do everything, because there are no significant talents, at higher levels you can't, though. You need gear sets for Feral, Caster DPS, and Healing, and you don't get the same results as you would if you were specced for it.In the beginning Druids can do everything, +Heal, +AP, etc isn't such a big deal, but don't get used to it haha.

Yeah, finding groups won't be that much of a problem. Since a rl friend and his girlfriend have been stressing and pushing me to ding 70 for several months now. So that we can run instances, pwn the arena, and attempt some pre-TBC raids together. We actually did Shattered Halls today, and the group was great. I got a new cape and a bow. Oh and afterwards, we three solosed UBRS together. Well not exactly. We downed Rend, and then made a noble attempt at Drakki, but his fire spell is a big pain (I tank'd :P). So we got one of his old guildfriends, and a friend of his, and we got him down very easily. It was to complete my Onyxia pre-quest btw. :P We're gonna attempt to down her soon (bloodfang ftw). So all in all, I'm thoroughly enjoying level 70 atm. :)
May 28, 200719 yr Author My guild is about to disband. :( Why? :( I respeced combat fists (again). I got the reflex blade so decided to. With luck I should be raiding kara next week or the week after that :).
May 28, 200719 yr My guild is about to disband. :( Why? :( Because the core members got tired of nobody wanting to raid so they left. I feel like either stopping playing my rogue and concentrating on my Hunter, doing a transfer, or cancelling my subscription.
May 28, 200719 yr where do i trade honor points in? or if you don't trade them to a person how do the rewards work?
May 28, 200719 yr where do i trade honor points in? or if you don't trade them to a person how do the rewards work? There are several ways to trade them in - BG's usually have an NPC you can trade them into, right by the entrance to the portal. Another way is in the champions' hall, of which one is in Stormwind and one in Orgrimmar (it is Org, right?). Oh well.. the guild didn't disband but I left it. I don't see a point when most of them left.
