July 11, 200718 yr Why didn't you go Nelf? :P Because gnomes rule. :P True that. Try rollin on Blackrock. IT seems kind of horde favored though but hey it will be a challenge for you. Then you can add me on my only "good" account. Trix.--quit WoW as of 12/07Thank you 4be2jue for the wonderful sig and avatar!

July 11, 200718 yr http://www.thottbot.com/i28524 :) Decided to read up a bit and respecced to what should be a higher-dps build. I'm still lacking.. Honestly, I have a quarter of my guild trying to work out what my problem is, I just don't understand what is going wrong. It's not really a gear-related thing, I do have a few things I want to ditch but even those are gemmed items which aren't totally useless. Hopefully the new spec should fix the problem - 15/41/5.

Gratz. That bastard of a rogue still won't drop his dagger for me :P. (we'll see what happens in tonights run though). Also what build were you before? Your think says you were combat swords it looks like. Right now for rogues Swords > daggers. However if you didn't have an epic sword MH you'll probably do better with the ripper.
July 11, 200718 yr W00t w00t!!! Getting my subscription back on friday! Are there any new patches out that i will have missed btw?

July 11, 200718 yr Yea orcs shoulders got nerfed lol. Anyways ran thru gnomer today with the worst group I have ever experienced, other then a lvl 46 guildie. We ended up making it to the boss I need for Rig Wars to get some nice legs (something like +18agil, and more)...So it's me, my pet tanking, and him. The fight started out good and then i started mending pet etc to keep him a live. Stupid pet finally dies and I pull agro, run around the room about, lay down a freezing trap that doesnt work, and finally go to hit my feign death. "Not enough Mana". dead So I got a nice sheild drop, that i can't use. The 46 finished him off, but I couldn't loot him for my quest. 2 hours of my life back plz? *sigh* dinged 32, really looking forward to that mount, which im posotive i will be able to afford. 72g at 32 =D.
July 11, 200718 yr Author I love being right. I'm cyrant if you didn't know. Anyways locks and shadow priests are up in arms about the upcoming changes to dots/arena. DoTs will now be affected by resiliance, or in other words for every 1% less to crit from resiliance it will be -1% DoT damage on that player. What that means is they will deal a 'whopping' 10% less damage versus a top end geared player with some of the best gear available. So they are up in arms QQing about that and have forgotten the the other change: Players will no longer be able to swap gear once and arena match starts. This means that there is no more switching to a shadow resist set for lock/S priest arena combos. Huuuuge buff in the arena for them.
July 11, 200718 yr Right, so, we downed: Attumen, Morose, Maiden, Curator, Shade and Illhoof in one run today. And I got four drops! :D Bracers of Maliciousness Gloves of the Fallen Champion (T4 woot!) Drape of the Dark Reavers Saberclaw Talisman Me so happy. Fake edit: haha nice, Nadril. I actually didn't know it was meant to be a temporary talent. I don't read the forums a whole lot.

However if you didn't have an epic sword MH you'll probably do better with the ripper. I was combat daggers - all I really changed was dropping riposte, taking up vitality and swapping some assassination for some subtlety (I can't remember what it was but its an increase in backstab, shiv and SS). I'll explain in more detail later on but for now I gtg to work.

I got the T4 gloves last kara run, they kick [wagon]. :D I lost the roll to the T4 helmet though =(.
July 11, 200718 yr Hehe yeah I know - and from going to zero drops in several weeks, to 4 in one day feel hell'a good. It was pretty funny because both Drape of the Dark Reavers and Saberclaw Talisman dropped on Shade. So it was like: "Um... /roll ... /roll" And I rolled 2 and 4. Luckily nobody else needed them.

Not as impressive as it sounds on papaer, because most of the incessant whiners were just too plain lazy to bother getting a shadowres suit. Yes, in theory, a shadowres suit kicks [wagon], but in practice, surprisingly few people actually put that much thought and effort into their tactics. Still though - now that I'd had a while to chill out from the initial "HELLO, since when does my DoTs crit?! - I'll have to reserve judgement on how this change will pan out. 10% doesn't sound all that bad, but on the other hand, DoTs has some other drawback's DD spells don't suffer from. Btw, someone mentioned farming Primal Air's earlier, and I'd just like to note that just north of the Aldor place in Shadowmoon, over a bigass mountain, there's a fair few spawns of Enraged Air Spirits. The pro is that it's not very well known, the con is that there's creature spawns sprinkled between the elemental spawns so you either have to do a lot of dancing, or fight [cabbage] you don't want to fight. Still, it's a nice option for those days when it seems like the entire server decided to farm primals. (Getting the Primal Mights for Spellstrike myself. PITA to farm the neccesary primals, but I'm too cheap to buy 'em when I know I can farm them) -This message was deviously brought to you by:
July 12, 200718 yr Author Man just had the best kara run ever. In one night we went from the start to clearing prince, including taking down illhoof. The best part is we 1 shot every boss but aran, mostly because we had a really big fluke with the flames of wrath. Even the prince we took down in 1 try, it was great. Our guilds been doing kara for a month now and we already are pretending like its on farm status, I love it. Going to do Nightbane/netherspite this Saturday. Oh and I got Worgen Claw Necklace and MALCHAZEEN!!. 15/41/5 now.
July 12, 200718 yr Probably a 15/41/5 build your using now I assume? Yeah, but I did already post that earlier. :P
July 12, 200718 yr Zulaman looks pretty nice. It's a step up from karazhan in gear/ difficulty, but allow the smaller guilds that still can't muster up enough people for even gruul's to have something to do. In some more funny news. Earlier this week, we were informed that another horde guild on our server, Dies Irae, stole a karazhan instance ID from a lesser known, somewhat newly formed guild named Clockwise. Well, tonight we taught them a much needed lesson. We obtained their end-of-the-week instance ID to Serpentshrine Cavern, zoned in and 1 shot their Lady Vashj for the week. Hopefully....a lesson learned :-) Link :http://www.nightmares-asylum.com/ The problem with the gene pool is that there's no lifeguard.

July 12, 200718 yr a question to the great gods of WoW, - WoW runs on my laptop, but it won't run the burning crusade - would you guys still recommend getting WoW on its own? Or will I be missing out on too much stuff.
July 12, 200718 yr Author a question to the great gods of WoW, - WoW runs on my laptop, but it won't run the burning crusade - would you guys still recommend getting WoW on its own? July 12, 200718 yr Author http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/threa ... 1&pageNo=1 I've been following a lot of the reactions on the WoW forums as well as the fansite forums to our announcement of Zul'Aman. I've noticed that there's a little bit of confusion as to some comments that were made in various articles that said that (I am paraphrasing here) "Zul'Aman will be more casual than Karazhan."' Of course, what most of us in the WoW community have come to realize over the past few years is that the term "casual" means different things to different people. In fact, I am at the point where I try to avoid using the term at all. I've come to discover that most players consider themselves "Casual" when it supports their argument and likewise, they think of themselves as "hardcore" when convenient. We have the largest Casual Hardcore (or Hardcore Casual) community of any MMO out there! All joking aside, the clarification is this: --Zul'Aman will be a 10-person raid zone --Zul'Aman will be on a quicker reset than 7 days (some might call this "casual") --Zul'Aman will be MORE difficult than Karazhan and drop better loot (some might call this hardcore) --Zul'Aman will feature 6 bosses and it's our goal that you can kill them all in one night -- perhaps 2-3 hour clear times (some might call this casual) --Zul'Aman will not have a key requirement. Nor will it have an attunement quest\ (some might call this casual) --Zul'Aman will have a VERY challenging timed quest for those who choose to participate in it. This *will be* hardcore and will be very rewarding. Players do not have to engage in the timed run (very similar to the Baron run in Stratholme) --We're tuning the first boss in Zul'Aman to require less raid coordination than some other raid bosses. He will still hit very hard so you'll need to be geared properly but it won't take 15 minutes to explain the fight. It will be a simple yet challenging fight. The other boss fights get more complex and challenging from there. If players want a basis of comparison, imagine the tuning of ZA started around Nightbane/Prince difficulty and ramped up from there. ZA is a very cool looking zone. It will feature brand new troll models -- Forest Trolls. They are very impressive looking. There will also be a large amount of brand new item art in the zone. We'll get screenshots of this out soon. I know this question is going to come up so I'll answer it now -- Yes, you can totally skip Karazhan if you're an amazingly elite guild who doesn't have time to key up for KZ yet can face the challenges of ZA without gearing up in KZ. Have fun storming the castle. Freaking epic :D. I'm thinking this may make the 2.2 content patch? Looks like they are getting the bosses all ready now for it.

July 12, 200718 yr I know WoW runs, you missed my edit by a second  still need me to dig up specs? I'm certain WoW runs flawlessly from experience.
