It doesn't take much energy to play the wii. When I first did wii sports tennis, I swung like real tennis. I couldn't beat the harder opponents. But then I just used simple wrist motions and I got pretty far. It's more about your timing above everything in that game. Also zelda doesn't require any energy either.

Uhm, what's nintendo doing in a Playstation 2 vs. Playstation 3 topic. I would've sworn Sony always made them playstations.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Anyway, it's a good and powerfull system, fully aimed at the future. At the moment it doesn't really look very interesting to me. Especially since it's not clear yet what the 'winning' format is going to be; blu-ray or HD-DVD. And that game-wise there isn't much interesting out yet, for me of course. I've seen various trailers of the third party games that are coming out soon and of course the own company games. But what kind of bugged me was that all of them were either sport games or violent games. Not that I mind violence or something, but the games don't seem to have much diversity at the moment.

Anyways, Daan's right, this is a PS3 vs PS2 topic. Personally, I wouldn't buy a PS2. PS3 is already out, and is (somewhat) backwards compatible. With firmware updates all the problems should be fixed eventually. If you can, you should get a PS3. You may want to wait a little while and see if they announce a price drop, theres rumors going around about that.

Well the wii is definatly better if you have a group of people but yeah it does not keep your attention for a long time by your self. But downloading the clasic games can give you some play time that is if you like the clasic games. I cant wait for super smash brothers brawl though

I feel they went the same way with the ps3 as they did the psp. They overload it but don't consider why it might be bad. Ex: Battery life is good for portable gaming. Price is a big factor.

Something I don't really get with Sony is that, they are still making all the good RPGs on the PS2, the main thing Sony has won the hearts of many gamers for their rpgs and yet they seem to be refusing to make any for the PS3 when it could bring more attention to it, I mean they made Rogue Galaxies for PS2 late last month and it would have definatly been a great release for the PS3 and at the end of next month Dawn of Mana for the PS2 will come out which would have definatly attracted a lot of people to the PS3 seeing as the Mana series is very popular.

Well theres alot of games out but ul have to wait like everything else, hardware cost more so that why it was 600$? and i remmeber the ps2 was 500 so i wouldnt complain. And the hardware is the best out of every machine out there. Ps3 is way better tehn xbox360 and way better tehn wii(i fing hate wii its such a waste) but no all these people are like theres no games, it just li,e thew ps2 with better graphics. Sure, some things are true, but those are the obvious ones. When games say "____ is going to be a success", it's a 50% chance. They can say it with every new item, with a 50% chance success rate and when it acutally is a success they now have the right to say "I told you so".
