i would rather have an agility/hunter/prayer/runecrafting/crafting/or farming cape than a rare...but other than those i would have a rare lol

I think skill capes also come with an advantage, bragging rights.

I get more respect with my smithing cape than I ever can with a blue party hat. Plus I can train with the cape and it actually benefits me.

 

 

 

IMO I think bunny ears and smith cape is the best items to wear. Party hats are just to played out.

Skill capes are something you have to earn, most people get the money for rares from merchanting

imo rares are better, you can buy a 99 skill fast and still have money left for a cheaper rare

i like my quest cape but people hatein on it. even though it takkes hundreds if not thousands of hrs to get.

I'd choose a rare (partyhat), as it'd get me longer to get than a skill cape

I personally would take a hutner Cape/hood any day over a blue phat.

99k plus all the honor it is in having a 99 skill. All a rare is saying is I'm a merchant, or I raised money from skills, or I got money from a quitting friend. I really don't see to much honor in rares.

I would choose the rare. The reason why is because you can just abnk it for a verrryyy long time, and pull it out and sell it later on down the road. The rare would have picken up value, and then you could use that money on a skill(s).
