Nedich
Who is the best villain you've ever come across in a game? Explain why to  We all love villains maybe because they don't waste time saving some girls life and instead have a more global outlook on lifee. Any genre doesn't matter. Here is mine, i posted this in another thread but i'll write it anyway. Anton Girdeux is my favoruite villain, who's he you ask? Well he has a russian accent a bad [wagon] flame thrower and his death is burning and screaming as he falls to the floor in washington park museum. He is from the game syphon filter on the PS1 my second favoruite game of all time (first being syphon filter 2). He isn't really a big bad guy infact he's one of the first bosses to die...But have you ever played a shoot em up and you're fighting a guy with a flame thrower and you shoot him in the back when he turns around while avoiding being toasted. Anton Girdeux was the pioneer of that death  Btw anyone played the syphon filter series? Anyway whos' the best villain that you've come across in a video game. Try and explain why and if you can't decide name your few favoruties try and give as much detail as possible.
Korla
Bebop and Rocksteady. They were just cool. Damn the Nintendo game was hard...should really get that rom sometime and try and beat it :-k Oh, and for all you simpletons with no important knowledge in your brain, they're from Teenage Mutant Ninja Heroes, the saviors of all childhood. How2PK
BOWSER![/FANBOY] He's from one of my favorite games. And it's kind of a classic as well. Mr. Bison is a good one as well. Same goes for Gorro and Shang Tsung. :) I think I like most of the bad guys from the mortal kombat series. Bubsa
Psycho Mantis from Metal Gear Solid. Playing first time through, reading your mind, memory card and moves, all the little nuances, he's a brilliant villain. Oh and Sephiroth. Ha, take that all you FF fans, I said him first. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
baron8000
Sephiroth. Ha, take that all you FF fans, I said him first. Damn you sir, damn you i say hmmm i always liked Seymour as well though, he had that slightly effeminate arrogance that made me want to whup him good. Outside of FF i'd probably go for the scary huge guy out of Resident Evil 4 - the mayor maybe? He scared the hell out of me.
Lionheart_0
Sephrioth was a terrible villain (although i have never played FFVII). From what i understand, he is just angry for being created as an experiment, and hated shinra and everything. The best Villains ive seen yet are Kefka and kuja. Both of their motives are excellent because both are just insane. They want all life to end because they think its better that way. That is the best way to represent life vs. death, an excellent theme! Not to mention Both villains are funny as hell. Kefka has the best evil laugh ever! Sig by IkuraiYour Guide to Posting! Barihawk
Kefka wins it hands down. His 32-bit laugh still gives me nightmares. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Believe me, nothing except a battle lost can be half so melancholy as a battle won. -Sir Arthur Wellesley

Guest AshKaYu
Kuja! -insert whiny feminine fanperson scream- He was so cool! Although his death was sad. I miss him, and his Trance Kuja actually, y'know, FIT in with the story. He was intelligent and was a gentleman while destroying the earth, albeit a [bleep]ty one. baron8000
Kuja! boooo hiss, he was as effeminate as your laugh. He wasn't gentlemanly either he was pretentious and poncy. But ill stop killing the thread :-$ P.S Did anyone ever fight and kill Sephiroth in Kingdom hearts 1? hardest battle I've ever fought.... ever... Moop
GANON! or ganondorf the kind of evil :P Why because he stole the triforce of power and has kidnapped princess zelda on many occasions! And according to todays laws *checks paper* kidnapping is bad!

That is the best way to represent life vs. death, an excellent theme! Seph was a noble victim like Kuja, unlike the dude from Suidoken II. Crikey, can't remember the name, but the basic idea was: he just wanted to kill as many people as possible for the smeg of it. Pure evil. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you. Nadril
Ooh, this is a hard one. I deffinitly have a few: - Dr. Robotnik: The perfect "Fun" villan. Plenty of wacky inventions and I loved owning his sorry hide in sonic games ;p. Boss battles too with him were usualy fun for a platformer. -Lavos: The end boss of Chrono Trigger. Something about a monster that brought apon the apocolypse just is... frightning. To make it even better you actualy travel to a time after lavos, and.. its not pretty! Coupled with one of the hardest boss battles I've been in this guy is a beast. I also enjoyed bowser and Ganondorf as bosses. Oh, and metalic sonic was pretty badass as well. 8-)

He destroyed Twinson's home world (right at the beginning), Lock up all the people who he captured on that planet before it was destoryed and owned a personal army! Ah, I loved those games.
