ikzelf100
Okay, you have a theory. Now go do 1000 runs of 6 brothers and 1000 runs of splitting the brothers up. Hopefully you will see a trend with this very small amount of data. 1000 arelike 20 days and when splitted up a really lot more Wait wait wait... 1,000 runs in 20 days? BULL. Its just a coincidence, everything in the chest (item wise) is random. I've done 1,650+ runs so I can be sure of it. ~Saruman dude you must have friends and work and [cabbage] i dont got them :( i did 50+ runs on a day no bragging it is possible in hollidays so in the summer 3 week lon barrowing and you got the results of the first the forgetting stuff is way to muuch to do somebody else can do that
ValaraZ
I actually have a supportive data on this. I have a friend who i introduced to barrows and he got so badly lost at the maze so he tele'd, came back, finished and got flail. Why are people so aggressive in this boards nowadays? Especially Abyssalwhip, he seems to flame everything he sees. Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant: "If I live, I will kill you, If I Die, you are forgiven." Such is the Rule of Honor. darkmage099
You, sir, are insulting the meaning of the word "theory". Trix.--quit WoW as of 12/07Thank you 4be2jue for the wonderful sig and avatar!
Aneron
maybe it is the time taken? nooooo some guy took like a year getting a kc of "too many" he got runes :\ I SAW THAT! I'm pretty sure it was on RS portal. It requires 10k kills to get "too many."

n64jive
I've actually had this same theory...but i know it sounds rediculous...but it seems whenever i stop in the middle of a run...whether it be from logging out or running out of items...it seems i would get items on those trips. Hopefully you will see a trend with this very small amount of data. 1,000 runs? Try 1,000 Barrows items.Like I said, Hopefully you will see a trend with this very small amount of data. I'd like for once for me to be proven wrong when I think that a title stating "Barrows theory" is going to contain a total bull [cabbage] random hypothesis based on less than 10 runs of data.I have to agree, but Reb, you've been a big flamer lately. (Even more then me. :o) Tone it down a bit, or I might have to make a bad pun!!@ :ohnoes: :^_^: I drew that smilie, btw, along with a few more used by this site.Classic bloodveld for lyph3! -Devoted12-
true...i think it might have been just beginners luck then =P Begginers luck! Lucky! First few runs and you got two things. My friend went 122 runs with nothing good. Maybe he should rub your head for good luck for now on. :XD:
rise
Im gunna prove your 2 run theroy wrong wih my 2 run theory. I did two runs and got two t plates back to back and i only banked after each run. Its just luck you probley would have got the same drops regardless of your banking needs. I dont have a sig anymore =[But I did manage to get every skill in the highscores
troyboy1444
It's just 2 runs, if you did many runs that way it would explain that it's totally random. It's not time-efficient either. ^ Thanks Tiff

Anyways, I mean, every single thread titled "Barrows theory", excluding maybe Lee's thread(s), always has no kind of foundation for it's ideas. Maybe if they were titled "hyposthesis" I wouldn't be as annoyed, but people need to stop making such random assumptions when they have absolutely no data to come anywhere close to backing up said assumptions. Eh, it was probably just the [cabbage] part that made it seem like such a huge flame :-w . stuntdawg5
I'm pretty sure its coincidence, because i was doing runs and had to bank and i got the exact same thing as normal. And then it happened again later and same as last time i got normal stuff. But good job in trying to figure out a pattern in barrows. :D Stunt
Alan_1134
That's pretty weird actually, because... One time I died in the tunnels (was wearing mystic as armour), then the next day I went to collect my loot and I got Dharocks Legs :D
fighterhwk
hmm...i just did 12 more runs, 6 stopping in the middle, 6 without... i didn't get an item in all 12 runs total :?

Artemis1330
there may be some truth to your theory. Once, I killed all bu 2 or 3 brothers(do not remember), had to leave for whatever reason. Finished the run the next day and got a double drop-guthans skirt and great axe. I am not a skiller, but i do some skills.

meili
I don't think so. I have tele'd out and returned but I never got good items off the chest. Besides, it doesn't make sense to give more rewards to the weaker players who can't do maze in one try.
