March 7, 200719 yr 1. The first one is the new anchor is faster then a skimmy and almost as good as a whip. 2. Jagex has decreased the chance of getting a clue scroll from monster drops, pickpoxkets, etc.after the new treasure trail items were released. Thank you in advance if you answer!
March 7, 200719 yr 1. I have no personal experience with this but here's a thread ^_^: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=625241 2. I didn't see any difference when I was getting clue scrolls at Jellies after that release of TT items. I was still getting level 3 clues rather fast. Later on, when I went to HAM's for level 1's, they were just as fast as before. Either I'm lucky, or they that's just a rumor.
March 8, 200719 yr Anchor:I've heard rumors, but that's it. And I'm still getting clues at a constant rate; in other words; really really slowly. Nothing new there though. [>>Thanks to Yaff2 for Reaper,Trooper, and DOOM sigs, Navyplaya for nature sigs, Hardwick246 for gold sig, ThruItAll for Darkwatch and guitar sigs, and Aijiru for avvy!<<][>>Refresh for new Siggie!<<]
March 8, 200719 yr anchor=same speed as d-long (slower than scimitar), 80/80 attack/strength (close to whip, but not quite). 2-handed weapon. No clue about clues...
March 8, 200719 yr 1. I think the anchor is slower then the scimmy but not by much people say its more like the speed of a dlong. But it does give a +80 strenght bonus compared to the scimmys +66. 2. The drop rates seemed to have stayed the same if not went up. I mean think about it if there is more items then it will be harder to get a valuable drop therefore they would increase the drop rate slightly to balance it out. I dont have a sig anymore =[But I did manage to get every skill in the highscores
March 8, 200719 yr Coincidentally, I was nicking a few cakes when a guard tried to kill me, took him out with one swing of my anchor and got a clue scroll from him. I like the anchor for training strength against low calorie opposition, but it's useless PVP or against anything that hits hard and fast. I got absolutely slaughtered in castlewars with it.
March 9, 200719 yr i like the anchor, it should have good dmage versus players tho, being as most metal amror is weak versus crush. i have yet to try it out, but im killing daggs with it like no tomorrow http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=616130 <--- Guide for Cheap 99 Firemaking
March 9, 200719 yr anchor- i have no clue on clue scrolls- as i do this for cash has stayed the same in all 3 lvls 26M Crafting XP
March 9, 200719 yr the new anchor is comparable to a d scimmy+defender its a bit slower, 2-handed, but has better stats. If you compare d scimmy+r defender with anchor: anchor has more str, less attack, a bit slower scimmy has more atk, less str I would call it a poor-man's whip it would be ideal for pking except it weighs like 20 kg
March 9, 200719 yr 1. anchor not a clue 2. now the clues I think the drop rate has slowed...I was so big into doing clues before the news TT update. I use to train on greater demons and I swear I would get 1 every inventory, since the new TT items its more like every 2 inventories some times more. Also since the new TT update i've done over 100 and NO 3rd age anything...Im soo unlucky
March 9, 200719 yr Is this anchor reobtainable? Other than players that is... RetiredEx-E174Ex-Venqeance[Ex-Tha Familia3]
