March 8, 200719 yr I've noticed now that Jagex have been putting a huge amount of effort into improving RuneScapes base aspects. These include graphics, interface, and now, most recently, sound. I must say, I am very pleased with Jagex's new update. I consider this one single improvement to be a much better update then the in-game content that they have put out over the last year. I was also happy about the small friends list improvement. I don't know about any of you, but Jagex have managed to regain my respect :) As some last thoughts, new "Base" RuneScape aspect improvements in the works could, quite possibly, include: -Actual magic animation update -Changing skill animations -A new bank -A new friendlist -Improved player-2-player trade -Adding "'" commas to the number aspects of runescape. I invite you discuss :) -Sly Burglar - ~
March 8, 200719 yr I'm happy jagex is making the old aspects of rs betterYeah but the only physical force that would get me playing the minigames they're updating this month is new items Your name is "bet you fail", and you're starting a business with your mom? I'm not even going to touch that.....
March 8, 200719 yr I like your ideas THe only thing I want to see the most is a new charector update. We're going out of style compared to all these new npcs. I mean at the Tower of life, once of the builders had some killer sideburns/chops. They even moved and everything, I mean, why can't we have that? Looks like our hair was made of paste ^^ClicK^^"I backed my car into a cop car the other dayWell he just drove off sometimes life's ok...Alright already we'll all float onAlright don't worry we'll all float on" - Isaac BrockDays Hunting:4 - Kingly Imps Caught:2Money Earned: 4.5-5m
March 9, 200719 yr I agree with you, Jagex has recently been improving base aspects. Improved base aspects is the closest that we will ever get to rs3. you know there is a place called outside, better graphics 100% pvp and no fee to play :-w
March 9, 200719 yr Some smoother animations would be nice. who needs em, gameplay itself makes up 99% of this base anyways... stares at the release date of RS3 :anxious: if there is one...
March 9, 200719 yr Some smoother animations would be nice. who needs em, gameplay itself makes up 99% of this base anyways... You should try running around pest control with some of the new weapons that have distinct animations (chinchompas, barrelchest anchor), while something attacks you. You'll see what he's talking about. It definitely impacts gameplay in a big way.
March 9, 200719 yr im really hoping a new bank system comes out.i want one like the one suggested on these forums, but jagex would never take someone elses' idea, they want to do it all themselves so they can say they did it. *cough* narcissistic much? but i really like the sound update. i can hear real instruments, not this synthesized crap (even though the instruments are done with a synthesizer too) \
March 9, 200719 yr Author I personally think that Jagex will not put out a RuneScape Three. However, they can change the base aspects of the game to be so much more advanced then they are now that people would come to think of the game as being the third version of runescape. The same content found in runescape could be presented in a entirely different format, and people would consider that game and the current runescape to be totally different. It's all in the presentation. Better base = better game structure. ~

March 9, 200719 yr well yea i like the better graphics.. but better sound.. i didn't need it.. i find their music annoying..
March 9, 200719 yr If I remember correctly, they tried using commas with number a couple of years. Anyone else remember this? It wasnt' for very long and I'm not sure why they gave it up.
March 10, 200719 yr continue fixing the sensors : I agree with you. Jagex has done a lot recently to update everything to be easier to use. I'm happy with them :D
March 10, 200719 yr Well I can use sound now (and have it sound good). Thanks jagex! Same, makes me happy. I think it's a very good thing that Jagex are concentrating on refining the features that already exist.
