Welcome to my Kalphite Queen Guide! This guide is based on team and solo KQing, Using Range/Melee Methods. I would recomend 75+ Ranged for rangers, And 95+ Combat for the Meleers. KQing is a great experience, And very fun experience, And she drops some nice stuff! Please read the whole guide before you go out hunting the KQ. What you will need:

Veracs Helmet -> None

Fire Cape -> Skill Cape(t) -> Skill Cape/Legends

Amulet of Fury -> Amulet of Glory -> Amulet of Strength

Dragon Mace -> Drag Dagger (P++) -> Dragon Dagger

Rune Defender -> Dragonfire Shield -> Obisidian Shield

Veracs Flail -> None

Veracs Brassard -> None

Barrows Gloves -> Adamant+ Gloves -> Combat Bracelet

Dragon Boots -> Bandos Boots -> Rune Boots

Ring of Wealth -> Berserker Ring -> Ring of Life

If you are using a Fairy Ring, Replace the shantay pass with a shark!

Familiar:

Spirit Terrorbird is probably the best because you can use the scrolls and run the whole way to the Kalphite Queen, But if you want longer trips good alternatives are the War Tortoise and the Pack Yak[/hide]

Black Mask (On Slayer Task) -> Neitizoit Helmet -> Berserker Helmet

Fire Cape -> Skill Cape(t) -> Skill Cape/Legends

Armadyl Godsword -> Saradomin Godsword -> Bandos Godsword

Bandos Chestplate ->

Bandos Tassets -> Veracs Plateskirt -> Torags Platelegs

Barrows Gloves -> Adamant+ Gloves -> Combat Bracelet

Dragon Boots -> Bandos Boots -> Rune Boots

Ring of Wealth -> Berserker Ring -> Ring of Life

Inventory:

If you are not using a fairy ring and going through shantay, Remember to buy a shantay pass! And if you are not using a Spirit Terrorbird replace the Tireless Run scrolls with a shark.

Familiar:

Getting There:

[hide=Getting There]Okay, you're ready to go. Go through the Shantay Pass and run to the east until you come to a well which you will need to use 1 rope on. Go down the lair and walk through the whole dungeon. From the rope walk to the right, then go a bit north and take the turn to the west. Keep walking the path and you'll have to make a few more 180 degree turns through the dungeon, keep following the path. You will come past a small room with level 89 Kalphites. Don't go in there, just keep following the path until you reach a corner to the north. There is another small room with 2 Kalphite Guardians. Wait behind the corner and pot up. I recommend putting your prayers on too (Magic protection, Piety, and I recommend item protection to.). Use the second rope on the well and go down. The queen is mostly located just a bit to the west in the southwest corner, but she can be at all places in the lair. Here is a picture of getting to the lair:

Positioning:

[hide=Team Positioning]This part is very important for Duoing/Teaming, If you do this correctly, It will cause the queen to "Spin" more, Making her get less hits on you.

As a skiller, naturally, I didn't read the whole guide, but I will mention that Sqx powerx or whatever his name is drinks hit potions at Shantay Pass so he can carry three more sharks, but that's for soloing.

I didnt get out to KQ last night for new pics, But I will try to go tonight, If I go tonight, This guide should be filled with great new pictures tonigth/early morning. If not, I am gone for the week till friday :(, But I will get new pics very soon! :D

I've never killed the KQ but why not use a DDS special instead of a D-Mace? Doesn't the DDS have a stronger special?

D Mace has harder specs (Theyre specs hit 30 - 50).

As for the guide, a question popped into my mind while reading it: can you solo the queen meleeing the first form and ranging the second?

Very Nice. About rune Ruby Enchanted bolts, I just tried this out on a suicide run, got some higher lvled ppl to be the killers, and I just stood by and ranged the second from. Maybe she is immune or something, because I never hit. She also dosn't have 1k health

I am bringing back this guide! I will go to the Kalphite Queen and test the ranger methods, I think the melee method is as good as it will be, I probably won't add a God Sword section to this guide for KQing, But you never know :P.

It's possible to solo it with all stats at ~90, right? In two trips I hope :P
