Yea this thread is about random things you have always wanted to know about.

Well some thing I always wanted to know were...

1. Are PETA members offended by the clothing company Big Dogs?

2. What were the creators of chili thinking naming it chili?(in other words, why is chili called chili if its hot?)

3. Is it possible to drink a gallon of chocolate milk in under an hour without throwing up?

What have you always wanted to know?

How did the golfing terms Birdie, Albatross and Eagle get their names?
Apparently there's a lot of history to that, far too much to write here so I'll just give this link: http://www.scottishgolfhistory.net/bogey_par.htm

LOL nice one. I'll give it a read. I've read a few things about it before, but all are legends with no actual proof. Oh well :)

Ok you really want to know? does being circumsized (sp) or not affect sexual pleasure?
According to the people in the Penn & Teller episode of Bullsh!t Yes it does, and there are a growing number of people who wished they had not been circumcised. Its a very American thing.

Nothing really.

But..there is one semi-[developmentally delayed]ed question..

If the universe is ever-expanding (as some claim), then isn't it possible that Intelligent life outside of Earth is possible, or even being created as we speak?

2. highest someone can jump (vertical) from standing still?

I started wondering, so I searched for it.

Its not totally a 'standing still' jump, but ive found this:

Did you see Steve Francis in the 2000 Slam Dunk Contest? Then he finished as the runner-up to Vince Carter with some sick dunks. Actually, he had a 44-inch vertical at that time! That̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s right, 44 inches(Thats 3,67 feet, or 111 centimeters)! Besides Vince Carter (45-inch vertical) Stevie Franchise had the highest vertical in the league at that time! And in case you didn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t know - the guy is only 6̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ 3̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢!

Yes. It's assumed that many life-bearing planets exist in the universe. We are most likely not unique.

how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a wiidchuck could chuck wood? But no, really, is there any point in space where you are not affected by any gravity whatsoever?
