1) It depends if there's been a selective pressure for them to become taller. They don't just become taller because they need to unless there's some pressure on short women or a reproductive advantage for tall women.

 

 

 

2) Compared to other animals, my understanding is that our eyesight is generally poor. Something to do with a blood vessel running over the optic nerve causing a blind spot and genetic predispositions to eye problems among some people being kept in the gene pool due to the modern way of life, the ability to help our fellow man and modern medicine. Other animals, such as birds of prey who need to see small targets from long off, had and have a higher pressure for keen eyesight and thus those with keen eyesight prosper and proliferate.

 

 

 

3) Because, I'm assuming, they are holding onto a grudge mentality passed on by others as if they are still being victimised. Sometimes they still do get victimised for the colour of thier skin and this is wrong and unjust. They are equals and that means we are on the same level; if a white person uses the word 'black' in the same descriptive fasion as when they call someone 'white,' I don't see an issue.

That's a very, very small amount of people you're talking about. If everyone else died those people would have to reproduce, since it is such a small popualtion many deterious alles would surface. This is the same problem with inbreeding. Everyone have thousands of damaged genes but since we have 2 of each gene the good copy can usaully manage on its own. If you inbreed or have a population that specific breeding for generations chances are many of the kids will be genetically defective since people that look like you usually have the same defective genes. Like I said, one defective gene is fine, but if two people with simular defective genes mate, then the kid will probably have two defective genes and will be very bad off.

1)People are becomming taller due to diet. Look at an anciant house in Egypt or even a ghost town in the Wild West. People were tiny. This is the same resaon many Asians are tiny, years of bad diet (just fish and rice, little citrus and Riboflavin) have stunted their growth. In Europe and the States people eat everything and use Multvitamins, thus, people are now taller then they were just a few decades ago. Selection pressure is a possilbe choice, I see where you were going, but that would take milenia, certainly not something you would see in one's lifetime.

 

 

 

2) This is a HUGE misunderstanding. Humans have the best overall eyesigt in the animal kingdom.. Wow that sounds arrogant eh? Ture though, let me explain. Sure hawks can see further, and robins can see sharper details up close, but that's because they are specialized. Extremly so. Let's give some examples.

See my point? Not only can humans see a huge range of color (and thus has to split up it's photo receptors into Red, Green, and Blue. We would be able to see 3x as well if we had only b/w receptor) but humans can also change focus extremly, extremly well from close up to far away. In addition to all that we can see in the night better than almost any animal (and night photoreceptors take up more than half the eye! If we were born with only daylight receptors out vision would be frigtingly sharp). So yea, even will all that mulitasking things crammed into our eye we still can beat practically any animal at they one thing their eye was designed for. Fairly impressive, and tremendously advanced, far more so than the simple eye of a hawk

 

 

 

Also what's that about a blood vessel going over the optic nerve which gives us a blind spot? :? , Our blind spot is our optic nerve. Everyone animal has a blind spot. The optive nerve obviously needs to connect to the eye, and obviously were it connects can't have photoreceptors. Imagine a ballon you blow up with your lungs. Ballons should be perfect spheres, but they can't bee since they need an opening so you can blow into them. That's the optic nerve. The airhole/optic nerve in a balloon/eye makes a spot on the surface that has a hole in it. :

Nope, the fly would go SMACK. There isn't enough friction between the fly and the air to hold it in place while the car jerks forward. But if the fly was sitting on a surface, it would have enough grip to be pulled also.
