The coming of age
Just wanted to say that I'm even more impressed with the quality of your posts now. Always assumed you were older.

Staying up late help
Bananas provide a slow release of energy without the comedown that comes with coffee or sugar.

What grinds your gears?
Women grind my gears, but they're also the motivation for them turning I suppose.
-
What trainers do you wear?
you only wear boots? You are correct sir. Obviously on the rare occasions I participate in sporting activities I'll dig out a skanky pair of trainers.
-
What trainers do you wear?
No trainers. Chelsea boots.

Your worst day
I really can't think of anything. I've been jumped and the like a few times of course, but as I recall the rest of the day was pretty good.

Your Greatest Fears
I just think you play the whole thing off a little nonchalantly. I'm not scared of death and I don't spend any amount of time thinking about it, but when it comes up I can empathise with the people who are scared. Just understanding the mechanics of death isn't really enough to satisfy any curiosity about it.

Your Greatest Fears
Well, biologically speaking, I find it likely that it would be odd for there to be an after life, but I don't really hold any strong beliefs about anything supernatural. I don't "understand what I think is true", I simply withdraw from holding any belief about what it's going to be like after I die. Being in the current physical state that I am now, I find such thoughts meaningless, and could care less about them. To quote Lao Tzu: Student: Master, what is it like after death? Lao Tzu: I do not know, for I have not died yet. Oh, conscious after death, in emptyness. Yah, I don't think I'd be a fan of that  . I don't mean to sound condescending, but I don't think you're really getting this at all. Also, that quote supports my point more than anything. I'm not holding any belief about what's gonna happen when I die, but my point is people get scared because you can't imagine nothingness, like nobody can imagine infinity. You might understand the 'concept' of infinity, but if you try to imagine it, you can't.

Your Greatest Fears
Try to imagine what it would be like. You can't. Ergo, it's incomprehensible. Just because I can't "feel" nothingness, just because I can't shut down my mind at will, that doesn't mean it's impossible for me to comprehend the concept :| . You understand what you think is true (It's what I think as well, I'm not religious), but that doesn't mean you have any idea what it's going to be like. People are scared of the unknown in general, and in that sense there's nothing scarier.

Your Greatest Fears
It's... not existing, a lack of thought and physical state. I don't get it, what's hard to comprehend about it :| ? Try to imagine what it would be like. You can't. Ergo, it's incomprehensible.

Homosexuality - Gay Bashing?
Ahh, the dry humor of the young British male. Just like being down the pub. Love it.

Homosexuality - Gay Bashing?
I've got nothing against gays, but all the gay people I know are the kind of people I don't like.

The Killers Fans?
I quite enjoy their music. Shadowplay is a Joy Division cover, for anyone who didn't know. So worship Ian Curtis.

I killed myself
What? Did any of what i said get into your thick skull. Dreams are what your subconscious thinks and if you deny that your subconscious doesn't have an effect on your actions in real life than you are a fool end of. Freudian ideas of the "subconscious" are extremely out of date with contemporary psychological thinking, as is the idea of interpreting dreams. Freud and Jung are mostly interesting historical figures in psychology. Basically no one ever quotes anything they said except perhaps to say "this is what they thought in the 1900s, pretty funny isn't it?" Agreed!! I know Jungian and Freudian ideas are out of date. All I was trying to illustrate by posting the link was that dreams are more than just commercials your mind invents between times of consciousness.

Personal defense
What would a lighter inside of your fist do? It makes your fist much harder. Try it out on a wall or something, you'll notice the difference.

A users vew of "hyt"
That made me laugh way more than it should have.

Favourite/Least-Favourite Band/Genre
You should try to alter prejudices, not solidify them by making a list.

Personal defense
I don't carry any weapons, I think in general they escalate situations rather than diffuse them. If push comes to shove, a lighter placed inside the fist will take most people out. I have had the misfortune of being hit with loads of weapons though - Brass knuckles, baseball bats, hammers, golf clubs, bottles and very nearly a home made petrol bomb. Much of that was in one night!

Favourite standup comedians?
Bill Hicks, Billy Connolly, Mitch Hedberg and Dimitri Martin are all worth a laugh. Hicks is something special though.

Marijuana, Is It Actually Bad?
Honestly? I always get pretty depressed and can't eat on a come down. Never had trouble with hangovers really.

Marriage, whats your views?
I don't really see what the difference between a normal marriage (even a non-religious one) and your commitment ceremony is. If the divorce thing that's putting you off, then clearly you wouldn't be confident in your relationship with the person. I don't particularly want to get married, but I'm not against it. If I'm gonna be spending my life with someone I may as well get a tax break.

Getting my wings! - Post your next/newest gear purchase(s).
I think generally thin and non-painted necks have the potential to be faster, but they're not for everyone. I don't like the fat Gibson necks, but I'm not a fan of the wizards on the Ibanez's either.

Your first kiss
A few more years and it'll be a riot. Self deprecating stories are always the most appreciated.

Your first kiss
That is absolutely outstanding. How old are you now? By the time you're older that'll be a fantastic story to tell people.
