Interesting montages on American consumerism

Wats your real life inventory?
It may not be physically addictive, but I had a mate who did it and went loco. He had to eventually seek help, we no longer talk. Ever since then I've got a lot against it because in a sense, it lost me a good friend. :( Well, he was more likely to mix it with LSD...but basically the same thing, sort of... Yeah, i had a friend die when he took E once. Now whenever i hear of a friend of mine taking it i punch them and call them stupid and tell them to remember Eric. No water can kill you; too much water can kill you. The come downs aren̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t worth it and can really screw with your mind the effects can be permanent. Not to mention screw up your jaw muscles too. Arguements like this always just spiral towards name calling. Taking drugs, any drugs, is a personal choice. Let's just leave it at that?

Worst Fear
There's a certain frequency of noise that I can't stand. I think it's lower than most things are capable of producing. It's low, and quiet, and droning. I've rarely ever properly heard it, but occassionally I'll 'hear' it in my head, and I have to stop whatever I'm doing for a little while.

Airplane on a treadmill
That wasn't a very good post, you're looking into it too practically and being nitpicky. The question was good enough to spark the discussion and debates that it has done.

What would you ask?
Bill Hicks - Are even you surprised your fame has risen now because you're dead? I can't tell if that's supposed to be a dig or not. No, not at you personally mate. But it's pretty obvious, people have jumped on the Bill Hicks bandwagon big time. If you liked him before that, then that's no problem, and if you didn't I can't exactly prove it. See what I'm saying? Hope so, because I'm finding it hard now >.< I got what you were saying of course, he's alot bigger now that he's dead. No problem saying that, it's true. Was just checking you weren't having a sly one.

If it has to be a single question, I'd probably ask Bill Hicks to explain his thought on everything.

Lamb of God TONIGHT!! (recent or upcoming shows?)
I went to see the Australian Pink Floyd Show last sunday (not just another cover band, google them to see how ridiculously good they are). I've also got tickets to see Deep Purple, supported by Thin Lizzy and Styx, and am going to see the Klaxons next sunday, so not bad.

Ripping vocals/instrumentals from a song?
There's a built in vocal remover in Winamp. Obviously it won't work 100% of the time, but nothing will. You can't seperate audio tracks that have been mixed together.

*Fashion*
I think alot of people are unfair to brands just because of some people who wear them. Fred Perry polo shirts are excellent (the older style ones), and Burberry make some fantastic jackets.

Who do you think is the best drummer ever?
Wow, a conceited person on an internet forum, how original. The mistake you seem to be making is judging the difficulty of the instrument by its range. Yes, drums are generally tuned to mostly similar notes, but creating melody is not the purpose of a drum kit, they're for rhythm. To break down your argument - There's not thousands of notes on a guitar, there's seven, twelve if you count accidentals (sharps and flats). While I'm sure you knew this already, I thought I would be pedantic, because that seems like your style. There is, however, thousands of ways to arrange them, but this is true of all instruments, drums included. Next, yes, you do need quick fingers for a playing guitar, amongst other things - In drumming, you need quick arms, hands, wrists, and feet. The technique is far too different to compare. I'm a guitar player myself, but saying that drums are any easier than guitar is just idiotic. This might be true in the sense that you might not need to be as capable a drummer as you do a guitarist to be in the average band, but that's not the fault of the instrument, it's just the player not using the full potential of the kit.

Who do you think is the best drummer ever?
I have a double bass in my basement, am I famous? No, you're an idiot Drumming is a unique topic, many people judge drumming on the skill it takes to pull off a "drum beat" because they know so little about drumming. Drumming is probably one of the most basic instruments out there, most people can play pretty much anything after fooling around with it for a while. Firstly, surely the caps lock was indication enough that he was joking. Nice reading. Secondly, drumming is not simple. Yes, almost anyone can play a simple rock beat, but then again almost anyone could play a simple chord progression on a guitar if you showed them how. Simple things are simple to play, regardless of the instrument. There is nothing basic about the drumming from YYZ by Rush, or Ticks and Leeches by Tool.

Best Song and Album of 2007
Have you heard the new Porcupine Tree yet? I think you'd like it! I'll definitely check it out, but I'm not a massive fan of anything apart from In Absentia.
