Melee wouldn't be recommended since you can only fight the spirit with a bronze axe or with your hands/legs. A good range level of 40+ should be easy enough. You cannot bring any weapons/armour to Entrana, so you will have to fletch/craft all the equipment you need (maple shortbow, steel/mithril arrows, gren dragonhide). If you cannot make those then have a friend who has the levels to make all those to journey with you to Entrana so he/she can make them from scratch (tanned hides, needle, arrowheads, headles arrows).

Port Phatymas for p2p as you said, Al-Kharid in f2p, smithing is best in Varrock (anvils south of west bank). Varrock and Yanille anvils both seems to be the same distance.
