  1. <*DVD teleports in a fridge-safe (as secure as the small one with the cookies) full of different sweet desserts, waffles, french toast, and such. Utilizing his own personal shield, he walks to the fridge, and securely retrieves some waffles and a cup of maple syrup, making sure to fully relock the fridge before he walks away. He heads into the kitchen and toasts the waffles into a state that someone would actually use maple syrup with, and then sits down with them in his hands again, waffles and syrup on a plate, and proceeds to eat them.*> There will be some that will teleport into your hands when you begin conversing again, Napalm_Death. Further, I've set up auto-teleports on all that nice, sweet food for everyone else when they begin to be willing to start talking again as well. Oh, and don't worry, food that needs cooking will be taken care of automatically, everyone. Yes, the teleports are set up to read your mind. B) Let's see... and what was that number... Oh, yes... 5676 ~Mr. D. V. "You can't avoid a conversation now, can you?" Devnull
  2. 5681 <*DVD walks in with a giant box of really sweet chocolate chip cookies, gently secured in a translucent safe with a special lock on it. He sets it down on the floor by his chair, and it locks itself into the floor, preventing any form of robbery.*> To get some of those, you must talk... Whether you like it or not... BTW, this thread ain't moving very fast anyway, but tends to move faster when people are conversing about stuff... B) <*DVD opens the safe briefly, grabbing a few of those cookies from the box, locks the safe again before anyone can rob it, and eats the cookies he pulled out before anyone can grab them from him.*> Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... Lip-licking good! :P ~Mr. D. V. "Well, now what are you going to do?" Devnull
  3. 5684 ... Here's something worth chatting about: " " Can't remember who posted it... not gonna worry about it. LOL! BTW, I think the Female Warrior won that one... :P ~D. V. Devnull
  4. *sigh* ... Why does this thread feel like spam? ... -.- I share the same opinion as y_guy_4_life on this one... But what the 'hey', let's give ShadowFaxPZ the option to totally do away with ignored posts... It can't possibly hurt or ruin the context of a thread, right? :? My personal take on this: Unless someone is intentionally being a [ble-e-e-e-(Sorry, that had to get censored!)-e-e-ep] at a level where the Admins should be handling them, then the ignore feature is just about useless. I don't use it myself, simply because I understand the necessity of thread context, even if it can get rancid at times. Of course, if it does that, there's always a nifty report button to use to call in someone who can handle it properly. Trust the Tip.It Forum Staff, okay? ;) ~Mr. D. V. "We can avoid the overkill here if we think..." Devnull (p.s.: If you're really gonna be that bent out of shape, then do try dsavi_x4's suggestion... but I really think even that ain't necessary.)
  5. Congrats, Gandorf61 and Racheya! BTW, additional thanks to Gandorf61 for the help he's given me so far! I seriously appreciate it, as I'd still be stuck on a few things without it! :D As for Racheya, where the heck are you?? Someone drag you into a deep cave or something? I have not seen you anywhere on the forums yet! :-? :P :?: ~Mr. D. V. "Someone's going to misinterpret my post... I'll burn them when they do." Devnull
  6. O Rly? :P 5686 ~Mr. "I have my ways of making you talk..." Devnull
  7. 5694 ... Looks like I need to find something else to spark some conversation here... <*goes searching*> ~Mr. D. V. "Too quiet in here..." Devnull
  8. 5699 ... At least another milestone is gone. ~Mr. Devnull
  9. 5705 ... Could anyone imagine someone yawning for that many seconds? ~D. V. "That'd be one sleepy person..." Devnull
  10. <*DVD chops that 'Halo spoof image' into 5707 little pieces.*> It just doesn't do the Master Chief any good at all. =; ~Mr. Devnull
  11. <*DVD suddenly rushes forward, disappearing from view... 5715 slices are heard in the air, and then the giant monster suddenly bursts apart into juicy little bits... DVD comes to a halt, looks at his now severely bloodied sword, and sighs unhappily.*> I gotta work on that... Must be some way to not leave my sword coated in an epically thin layer of gross... -.- ~Mr. D. V. "OmniSlash FTW... almost!" Devnull
  12. I wish I'd had some of that luck as well. I've been in want of tons of randoms and adjustability of frequency since the update that turned them down. ~Mr. D. V. "I want some randoms too!" Devnull
  13. 5719 ... still doesn't mean a lack of me ... ....... Or ... wait, what? ... I wasn't what you're trying to get away from??? <*turns around, sees the smashed-up Warthog vehicle... and then notices this big monster hand's finger starting to protrude through the wall opening...*> Oh ... Dangit ... <*Steps back 15 feet and pulls out a big sword, simultaneously activating one of his armor sets and quite a few extra shield layers...*> ... This is gonna get really ugly... and I just polished this nice sword this morning... -.- ~D. V. Devnull (p.s.: Good thing I preview posts before posting...)
  14. 5723 ....................... Could be far worse............. You could have a whole horde more than 1 extra post appear before you hit the button to post. ~D. V. Devnull
  15. PS/2 Support = What existed for mice before they could be plugged into USB, and very good to have when you're running something that doesn't see USB mice. ;) ~D. V. Devnull
  16. I just looked at them... If your fingers are thin/limber, then the G500 is fine. If you've got really large fingers, get the G5 mouse. :) Of note, I suggest reading the user reviews and looking at the large-size photos. In particular, there appears to be more physical buttons on the G500 mouse... Unluckily, there is one thing stopping me from liking either one. No PS/2 Support... but, that's merely a matter of my personal preferences. BTW... how do they get away with saying it has so many buttons? Scroll tilts or button swaps? :?: ~D. V. Devnull
  17. 5726 ... bottles of ... w-h-a-t ... on the wall?!?!? <*Looks up from a pad on his arm, only to hear a section of the wall he's next to suddenly explode behind him... Thankfully, Mr. Devnull's personal shield prevents him from being hurt...*> Damn... Must have been that Warthog... I'd love to know why it had to smash into those bottles of Nitro-glycerine, though... <_< ~Mr. D. V. Devnull (p.s.: Anyone know how long ago this thread would have been locked if we never had all these long, off-the-wall chats? ...)
  18. Sounds to me like they need to wake up and remember to keep a natural conversation flowing. <_< BTW, here's a funny vid to start a conversation with: (Make sure to manually select "480p" mode when viewing... otherwise the sound doesn't come out right...) LOL  ... Lag much??? :P 5729 ~Mr. D. V. "Bah, maybe I'm just having trouble handling the quiet..." Devnull
  19. I wonder 5731 times over as to why everyone has gone so totally quiet? ~Mr. Devnull
  20. Not talking about that. Look at my post at the end of the previous page that has the arrow smiley... The arrow is a link. 5737 ~Mr. D. V. Devnull
  21. 5739 ... Thanks for making my link work. :P ~Mr. Devnull
  22. 5,747 @ Napalm_Death -- I know how you feel. School was no fun for me either. :-| ~D. V. Devnull
  23. Hello, Tip.It Staff... On going back to review the opening post of a thread ("Middle Mouse as Second Left Click...") that I began in the "RuneScape Bugs & Suggestions" area, I quickly ran into a really wacko annoyance. Wherever I had used the "Acronym" tag, it had attached a ";]" next to the text I was putting a helpful tooltip upon. Unluckily, this wreaks havoc upon keeping the post clean-looking and easily understandable by others. :( As a good solution, could you change the hint for a tooltip into a 'dashed underline', please? Seeing as it has been done that way on other websites and in program help files, it would be equally distinguishable, non-intrusive, and non-interruptive to the flow of typed text in posts. :^_^: An alternate solution could be to use an image of some kind to indicate a tooltip'd acronym, but I don't think that would work well. :-? ~Mr. D. V. "Text-prefixed acronyms just don't work..." Devnull
