  1. <*DVD stands there with a confused look on his face...*> Damnit, I forgot about the teleport option! #-o <*DVD then sighs, and clicks on his personal shield... Proceeding to power most everything else he's got down, he puts all of those things he pulled out away, and then sits down in a nearby chair and takes a rest...*> 5600 ~Mr. D. V. "I'll remember to teleblock next time, won't I?" Devnull (p.s.: New page!)
  2. No, I wouldn't, and that is the difference between you and myself. While I might be a little wacky online, I'd never be a criminal IRL ... BTW, your mental tilt saddens me... -.- <*DVD pulls out his Grand Paladin Holy Staff, still yet to be named, and gently stands there a moment with a rather straight face...*> WHO ARE YOU?!?!? <*DVD then taps the bottom end of the staff gently against the ground next to him. Napalm_Death becomes instantly bound with unbreakable bonds to a wall that springs up behind them.*> 5602 ~Mr. D. V. "I am truly of the Light..." Devnull (p.s.: This includes one hell of a TV show reference...)
  3. <*DVD beats Napalm_Death into the ground with a giant hammer.*> I'm no thief... get that through your head. <_< And anyway, if I tried, I'd end up in jail all too damn fast. So I'd rather not. :shame: 5610 ~Mr. D. V. "never a criminal" Devnull
  4. No comment on the first one... I'm 100% F2P... :( As for the second one, I feel the author is right on. RuneScape needs more to the Multi-Player Quests than it currently has. B) ~Mr. D. V. "I knew something was lacking... But just couldn't pin this part down..." Devnull
  5. Hmm... Gee... Why don't I? Maybe it is because of the fact that I don't have a wii, and I don't know anyone locally that does have one? 5612 ~D. V. "You'd think someone would think of that..." Devnull
  6. And then, of course, there's Aeon with "Time, heed me! ....... STOP!", followed by that absolutely dazzling/hilarious sequence. :XD: I'll admit, I've only seen various player-made runs of that game on YouTube, including full story runs. But I must say that game is mentally attractive enough to want to play it at least once myself. :^_^: 5615 ~D. V. "LOL" Devnull
  7. Ack! That's ^ what I missed! The Lumby Explorer's Ring, level 3 of which is the best! Nice catch, Sonic3190! That's what I get for posting in the early morning hours. :P ~Mr. D. V. "I knew I forgot something..." Devnull
  8. 5617 ... Need to put more feeling into it, run4runes ... Else I may have to PWN you as well. ~Mr. Devnull
  9. Yomyth105, trying to do Knight's Sword is near suicide for most lower level players... I personally suggest you mine and smith all your own Copper/Tin ores into bronze items, and sell them to shops. You'll make a nice small mint on the way, too. It will take 715 Bronze Bars, but it will be well worth the lack of danger and time spent. Further, it will skip you past all that Iron stuff, allowing you to not waste any ores at all. B) Good Luck, Have Fun, and Enjoy RuneScape! ~Mr. D. V. "The fun is in the journey... Rushing it isn't as fun..." Devnull
  10. I disagree with those who think the Combat/Druidic robes from FoG are great for mage. Especially seeing as they don't provide enough melee/range defense, which is critical when training in places where dangerous monsters are present. Worse, those FoG-based robes happen to need recharging every so often, making them far from worth their ultimate costs. <_< Instead, I personally recommend the Full RuneCrafter Robe Set (Hat, Gloves, Chest Robe, and Skirt) for training. While it may take a little while to obtain at the GOP minigame, and basically requires Level 50 RuneCrafting to have access to acquire, it has saved me from quite a few bad situations before. Paired with Leather Boots, any (Team or not...) Cape, Staff of Fire, Amulet of Power, and an Anti-Dragon Shield, it becomes quite the combination to move around and destroy monsters in. Plus, it requires no recharging and leaves you somewhat safely armored. Can't really beat that, now can you? Last Note... Using any shield other than the Anti-Dragon in F2P will badly hurt mage bonuses... Please take this into consideration before you use something else. :-? ~Mr. D. V. "I use RC'er Robes, and they rock!" Devnull
  11. I'm only a basic photo utility user, but it looks to me like you missed part of the boots on your WOW character by accident. If you can, re-screenshot, re-clip, and add those in there. Beyond that, maybe add a gradient to the background if you wish to. But other that that, it looks rather nice to me. BTW, good luck making a signature version if you decide to. (Your current design for it is too large for this forum, sorry. ... I suspect you are designing it for another place entirely, though? ...) ~D. V. Devnull
  12. In the famous words of Simon Belmont, "Ni-i-i-i-ice Try!" ... :boohoo: <*DVD pulls out the famous Vampire Killer whip, boosted with several things of his own (so he will never feel any side effects) on the glove holding it, and suddenly deals 99 rather nasty whip hits to Napalm_Death ... DVD appears 15 feet off of Napalm's other side, and Napalm collapses to the ground behind him.*> That is what you get when you test the power of someone that can PWN you. Now... where were we? Ah, yes... 5619 B) ~Mr. Delta Varuna "And you thought only a Belmont could handle that whip? I can as well!" Devnull (p.s.: Don't edit your post... You've already been had.)
  13. 5636 Hmm... They straightened themselves out... Should I pwn anyway? :-s <*DVD walks off and debates with himself ... Pray he doesn't come back with an evil grin on his face...*> ~Mr. D. V. "To pwn, or not to pwn?" Devnull
  14. <*DVD pulls out a giant non-descript metal object and WTFPWNS (Literally, even that can't be described properly...) Juhniz over the head so hard that they won't wake up for about the next 3 posts.*> Hmph... :ugeek: 5652 ~Mr. "My ears don't take well to that..." Devnull
  15. <*starts singing*> 5655 bottles of beer on another wall... 5655 bottles of beer... Take one down, pass it around... :^_^: ~Mr. D. V. "Let's see someone help keep that going!" Devnull
  16. Whoa, whoops... I didn't catch notice of the change, then. ... Strange that it took my browser a day or two to refresh it, though. :-k ... My apologies (Really, I'm sorry :( for seeming like such an awful nag!) to Tip.It's Staff, and thanks for getting rid of the ";]" attachment. You rock! ~Mr. D. V. "I really should look more often... lol" Devnull (p.s.: I'll call this "Case Closed", then!)
  17. But, that IS a comment! ... I bet your brain overloaded while watching it. ... LOL! :XD: 5661 ... End of current page. :!: ~Mr. D. V. "If only you knew why I'm grinning..." Devnull
  18. Glad to see you too. :) Thanks to privacy filtering that's in-place, there's no problems here with IE6, given what little it gets used for ... However, my parents and I didn't upgrade for two reasons... One, the added bugs that came with IE7 and later... Two, would have resulted in that MicroSoft-made virus known as 'WGA' infecting my parents' Win XP systems. (As you can figure, that's not acceptable.) <_< Maybe that's why I'm having a small issue between FF 3.5.7 and Java 1.4.2 ... Well, that, or the fact that RuneScape does some really unusual stuff, seeing as I don't have trouble with other Java applets. ... BTW, did you know a lot of people that have FF 3.6 and Java 6u10 (or later) are having problems with RuneScape? I begin to think the last good FireFox was the 2.0.0.x series. Paired with Java 6u6, it's insanely stable. ~D. V. Devnull (p.s.: I know someone's going to try to go at me for what I know 'WGA' to happen to be under the hood... Just freaking don't... I'm about 16 shades of "Death to MicroSoft!" already... Personally, I'm going to stop following this thread anyway, so I won't see any replies.)
  19. They finally do turn themself in, but they just happen to be carrying a bomb on their body, which has the untimely consequence of going off right next to you, causing you to get killed along with them. Oh well, we will just call your next-of-kin, if you have any... :boohoo: I wish for a permanent end to ever having more nightmares, preferably without crippling my body or dying... :twss: ~Mr. "nevermind, I know something's coming" Devnull (p.s.: You know I'm royally joking around, right? I'd rather have you alive, TBH...)
  20. Napalm, nice palindrome ya got there. <*Passes around some properly-cooked food to everyone (yes, each of you got your favorites) since the room appears to have come unstuck from that awful silence closet.*> Still trying to figure out who <_< to wtfpwn, and how to do it... :-k 5663 BTW, any comments about my video pick on the previous page? ~Mr. D. V. "I haven't forgotten about this..." Devnull
  21. Don't worry, your post makes perfect sense. (Albeit, slightly typo'd, but that's no problem.) And yes, I understand the tech admins have a lot to deal with. TBH, I'm personally just glad/thankful/etc. to have any post whatsoever from any Admin/Mod, which means at least someone in the staff has read it... BTW, I think this thread does file under "Suggestion", if not "Bug Report", lol  ... so no worries there. |^_^| I bet, however, that a Tech Admin will have to reply to the following :? ... Unless I miss my guess, reconfiguration of things like markings for acronyms should be possible to handle directly in the ACP? :-k ... Perhaps either in a CSS handler, or a 'skin images' interface? I could be wrong, though, seeing as it has been ages since I actually had to handle an Invision-based forum myself. (Was from being in a clan for a short period, haven't been in one since due to IRL stuff...) Although, I would hope that going all the way to the base code (e.g., something that can't be handled in the ACP) wouldn't be needed? I'll stand back and wait for additional comments/information/thoughts... Again, I'm thankful to at least know Tip.It's Staff are aware of this thread. ~D. V. Devnull
  22. 5666 Wait, what??? Triple "6"s?!?!?!?  ... [bleep]... I'm going to wtfpwn someone for sticking me with this post! On the other hand, xsarah, I'm noticing you're new as well. :) ... Welcome to the forums, and the load of jokers within. ... I just wish I knew where all the female jokers are at the minute, present company excluded, as we used to have a bunch, but they seem to have all disappeared. ~Mr. D. V. "I can be a huge 'barrel of thoughts', lol!" Devnull
  23. O hai... Welcome to the Forums  ... and this slightly sadistic thread! (Well, not entirely, to be honest, but you have to figure someone here has a wild side! :P ...) And now for the count... lol  ... 5674 ~Mr. D. V. Devnull
  24. (Pre-Note: You're going to have to pardon any language I use here... And my radical opinions... Microsoft's IE browser makes me mad. ...) I voted before, but failed to post about my voting choice. I currently use FireFox, both 2.0.0.x and 3.5.x series. However, should their interface start looking IE8-ish with the release of FireFox 4.0, I will flat stop using FireFox, period. One of the reasons both I and my parents left IE was to escape that kind of "make it look fancy" crap, and I simply won't be dragged back into it. Also, I was sick of not being able to maintain local security, and FireFox helped greatly with recovering a lot of that via AdBlock Plus. (Although I must admit that the latest versions of ABP annoy me with that "wizard-style interface"...) Stack on a whole bunch of additional extensions (1 not by choice, thanks to HP Corp., and 2 from Mozilla in FF2-series, damnit...) and I'm pretty much in browser heaven right now. However, I won't touch FF 3.6 due to how Mozilla harmed their own Personas extension, and how it automatically blocks user choice in older Java versions. (Truely stable loadouts, IMO, are FTW... Conspiracys can burn in flames.) And I wish they'd kept a FF 2.0.0.x version posted for those with old browser nostalgia. <_< BTW, I should drop in screenshots of what I have loaded in my FF profiles... Stay tuned! :^_^: Also, I've pretty much made sure that I don't even have (or need) a copy of IE7/IE8, and the IE6 I do have only gets used in the absolute event that I can't avoid it, but even then, it gets heavily filtered. Put simply, someone wants to decide to limit my choice in browser, then they will have to live with my rules as well. They don't make the page compatible with my security requirements and/or choice of browsers, then they don't get my page views. :ugeek: ~Mr. D. V. "MS's recent IE versions can pretty much go to hell... and anything that even looks like it..." Devnull
