He may have, but you de-railed the thread. Anywho... :P Maybe there should be a 640x480 size limit (basically large enough for a full RS Java Applet screenshot), or something like that? I don't know what the size limits are either. :? However, it sounds to me like the size control needs to be on the Tip.It Server, and not on the external host, with a built-in script that would go client-side to maintain the image box. This would have it first showing in small size, but with a "click to enlarge" option that would dynamically show the larger image. As a note of comparison, this already exists in the IPB 2.x.x forums, but I always thought it was something that PhpBB should have, even if only to compete with things that people would have to pay a [bleep]-load for. This might result in PhpBB getting more users, which would get it more criticism, which would then get the problem of missing features fixed, which would then make it grow more. :) Just my $15 of mental thoughts. :wink: ~Mr. Devnull

Okay, I see some have danced around the question, "Is RuneCrafting Boring?", so I shall take the time to answer this... In my personal opinion, RuneCrafting is not boring. In fact, as I leveled up, I found that it became rather rewarding, even if a given person is F2P. So I am aiming for 99 someday on that skill, crafting whenever I need to. In fact, I have noticed that no skill is boring when it is driven by a serious need. So... AIM FOR THAT LEVEL 99 RC!!! :thumbsup: ~Mr. Devnull

I don't know my actual playing time, but I do know these two things: Main account started in June to July of 2004 (date is approximate) All alternates started in Late October 2004 (due to halloween event) Year might have been 2005, but I don't think so. Okay, folks, I got to the end of page 2, gave up on reading insane negativity, and just decided to come down to the end here to drop my reply. So here it is... But do keep in mind that I've never taken a black mark, and I haven't gone around rule-breaking either. I really don't need nasty and wrongful retorts. ------- I feel that Rule 8 should not be abolished, but should be re-tuned. :-k There is literally no good reason that siblings (or friends) playing together on the same net line with seperate PCs should be grounds for an account to be bannable. Also, there is no good reason that people giving gifts and such (or barrowing/loaning items) should be grounds for an account to be bannable. Now as for having one person with several accounts on at the same time, that I am against. I don't ever have several of my accounts on at the same time, as my friends can all testify to. (And I'd prefer to play it fair on that aspect too!) ------- In fact, I think I might have a solution for this, as well as for account recovery handling. Enable people to tie their accounts to their e-mail addresses. (I know, this sounds crazy, but it is the only thing I can think of.) ------- And that is my $15 of thoughts on the matter. ~Mr. Devnull

Regarding the main article, I probably wouldn't be around RuneScape if it weren't for the community that I have experienced and the friends I do have on RuneScape. :? I've found at times that RuneScape can put a person to sleep, and without friends to talk with, I'd have fallen off the chair I was sitting on. :( So I would say that 04arch3r wrote a good article. He's hit the nail on the head. Other games are too pricey (WoW) or have too many adverts (BattleOn's 2 games) or I just don't hear enough about them to be interested (Bots) or (and this one's the worst) they require a client download (GW, FlyFF, Etc.), which I can't do, seeing as I live with my parents and it is their PCs. I'm kinda [bleep]ed in this department, put simply. Now, as for this: Some people do not know this, and I'm not really in the mood to go digging for the link regarding it, but the above is very true. Jagex made a major change to the game, and so even though I have completed Dragon Slayer, I can't get a new key if I lose my current one. I've tried dropping my key and talking to Oziach, and he says that (and I quote), "You've had your fun in there." ... I'm just glad I got back to my only key for Melzar's Maze fast enough before I could have lost it. :oops: And that is my mind's $15 on the matter. (Gee, if I added up all the money amounts of the estimated value of my mind's thoughts, I'd be rich! :lol: ...) ~Mr. Devnull
