  1. Who needs to do that? Just use the official start site for SS! ~Mr. Devnull
  2. What??? http://www.zybez.net ??? ~Mr. Devnull
  3. Better... mage armor with defense against melee and with a prayer boost... not too strong for it to not be F2P-allowable, but strong enough to balance the combat triangle... Kinda like what I mentioned in my last post here... :) Why split what you can combine? :-s ~Mr. Devnull
  4. I'm kinda disturbed there was no more posts here after mid-December... :? ~Mr. Devnull
  5. Sounds like your parents, the firewall/antivirus, some privacy filter, or your ISP is/are blocking the adverts for you. Well, can't beat house rules... Unless you wish to not use a PC anymore... Jagex is shot in attempting to dare in defeating those. ~Mr. Devnull
  6. I'm afraid they must not... :( ...goes to show how many ignorant people reply to the P2P's who support something F2P... [Note from quoting poster: ")" added for consistency....... Also, I'm not trying to blast you with the following points, so I apologize in advance. This is aimed at those negative folk who wish to down this suggestion thread...] Anywho, you're right, the Stronghold is quite a large, and somewhat nice, place to train in. Sadly, I find the 3rd and 4th floors near constantly unused. Why? Because of complaints in both F2P and P2P of the lack in teleport charges of the "Skull Sceptre" and in, obviously, LACK OF BANK SPACE... Where do you store parts as you're making the next sceptre, eh? This has been the one problem of that addition, and has caused yet more controversy to the whole mess. Also, there is all the arrows, runes, clothes, and other useful things that a person can collect from there. Space is needed for these too, seeing as they would all help with training of one type or another. And then, yes, finally, there are all those pesky random events that happen to players just when they're thinking they will get a good training run. (This has happened to me one too many times, BTW...) The following is a fast perspective of one's thoughts of this situation... I think no other comment then "Congrats, Tetsuya." is sufficient here... ~Mr. Devnull
  7. They'll be fine if they don't stop "curse/weaken/confuse/enchant/alch"-ing... In fact, it would help them to do it more. I should know, since I am a 59 mage with 76 cb and 63 hp... Just lookie at my stats! ~Mr. Devnull
  8. so wait...you shrunk down the window, then said it was too small? xvillexvalox is saying that Jagex is allowing scroll bars in their applet program and is therefore breaking their own rule. Ironically funny, when you think about it. ~Mr. Devnull
  9. I'm gonna have to agree with this person. Any skills left at a level of "1" leave you dangerously vulnerable to dying. This is the reason NONE of my accounts are going to ever be left at "1" on any skill. ~Mr. Devnull
  10. Even if a mage hits hard, they still need to have the defense to go "toe to toe" with a Warrior, else what I said about 'disadvantages' stands and remains. Attack without Defense is TRUELY USELESS... Hmm, that just gave me an idea. "Armored Wizard Robe" (shirt) and "Armored Wizard Hat" ... give them higher mage stats for attack and defense, but also give SMALL armoring stats for range (no more than +1 each) and for melee (no more than +4 or +5 each) ... It would at least balance out range and melee versus mage a bit, in my personal opinion, and would give proper stats to enhanced armor like that, but without being so good as to not be "F2P-allowable"... Just my 'next chunk' on the matter. ~Mr. Devnull
  11. ROFL ... EVEN???? Not even close. At fully equal levels, Mage versus a Warrior is at a total disadvantage, same as Mage versus a Ranger. This was NEVER supposed to be the case. Mages are going to need a boost, preferably in the shirts and hats. That is, unless Jagex wants to make boots, cape, and gloves that would help a Mage and still provide the needed defense bonuses of basic boots, cape, and gloves. That or maybe make a Monk Robe with Prayer and Mage boosts... Hmm, leaves quite the thing to think about. :-k ~Mr. Devnull
  12. Good point? VERY! =D> 14,731 ~Mr. Devnull
  13. The safespots for range/mage are in the North and East of the NorthEastern Room in the 4th floor of the Stronghold, and only exist after the "Ankou (Level 75)" go fully non-aggressive. You'll find that you can use the safespots in near a reverse manner to how they were meant to be used originally, which could allow you to range 2 Ankous at the same time. :) If you ever need a direct display, let me know... that is, if you can find me. I recently had to put Private Chat to "Friends", Sorry. :( ~Mr. Devnull
  14. You're looking a little enflamed there. 14,741 ~Mr. Devnull
  15. Another nicely done article. (Not much more I can say. I'm feeling exhausted as I type this!) ~Mr. Devnull
  16. 14,743 You're a pessimist, aren't you? :P ~Mr. Devnull
  17. Off-Topic: "Smart and insane guy wearing purple all the time", was that not how you described yourself? You HAD to bring that up from the other thread, didn't you?!?!? On-Topic: Does that magic armor exist already? Also, does it provide any defense boosts to melee/ranged? If not, it really should. Just a little in the gloves and boots, equivalent to what normal gloves and boots give. Then it might be something for F2P to use... ~Mr. Devnull
  18. ***D_V_Devnull clobbers The_Dragon_Reborn in a most interesting way with Devnull's own "Dark Paladin GrandMaster Mode" for attempting to ruin the post count, yet again!*** 14,745 ~Mr. Devnull
  19. You think I exploded on you there... ROTFLMDCFLYAO!!! Dude, I was just helping your point! ~Mr. Devnull
  20. Your question is 14,752 kegs of "confusing". ~Mr. Devnull
  21. ***D_V_Devnull utterly annihilates tomdavies90 in a most hellish and gruesome way with the power of Devnull's own "Light Paladin GrandMaster Mode", all because tomdavies90 decided to try to ruin the post count yet again... The wall splatter seen next makes quite a lot of people run for the restrooms to 'lose their lunch'. ...*** 14,754 ~Mr. Devnull
  22. An additional pair of tips: 1.) Post your RSN here and get in touch with me in-game with an "HYT, Devnull!" if you want to group up for this training. I'll gladly join you. :) 2.) The reason I assumed a "43 prayer already gained" status is because of the more nasty randoms (Shade 'Lvl 120', etc.) ... (I know, I'm 're-hashing' with this part, but I feel like I could never stress it enough. :P ...) Good luck on your training. :) ~Mr. Devnull
