  1. Would be nice to see the fashion statements. I support this. Sadly, I'm out of room on my siggy, I think, so I can't add a link to this thread at this time... Sorry. ... However, if I find that one of the ones I am supporting is not moving and gets locked or gets pruned off, this will end up in my siggy. ~Mr. Devnull
  2. Figures, I drop by, thinking it will be one thing, and find out it is another. Sadly, this item is too open to scam problems, so I do not support. <*Leaves the thread...*> ~Mr. Devnull
  3. Had this same problem with RuneWeb.Net in the past, Myridden ... Hopefully, Draynor.Net will be back up soon. Until then, instead of removing it, I would have suggested changing it to a link. You would have been glad you did. Saves a lot of time changing it back into an image. Just my mind's $0.10 on the matter. [] Albosky... just a thought (and request) for this particular error... Could you set up your script to reply with a more friendly message like... "Unable to connect to one or more sites where images are listed at and unable to determine file size, please change link format or remove." ...so that people won't see something like this that they don't understand, please? It would save the staff of Tip.It, and especially you, a lot of time. :) ... Yes, I understand that your hands are rather full and that this will take a long time in implementing, no rush. : [] ~Mr. Devnull
  4. Sounds to me like Members need an anti-poison prayer??? ~Mr. Devnull
  5. Agreed. I don't like my idea that much anyway. Too violent in real life, even for my tastes. -.- ~Mr. Devnull
  6. Well, since you haven't told anyone who reads this what level the flesh crawlers are, I have to assume that the level of the monsters is something like... 41 < monster level < 82 ...in which case you may have encountered a point at which the monsters will stop attacking (Usually 'about 20 monsters killed' or '10 to 15 minutes of battling with them'...) and will switch to a non-aggressive, "shoot me from where you want"-type of state. To be very honest, this is normal activity for the RuneScape engine, and not something you should complain to Jagex about. From what I understand, this is actually an in-game measure designed to help Jagex catch fighting autoers. Thankfully, as a bonus to non-autoers (as in people who aren't breaking the rules ~ especially rule 7 ~ of the game), it allows them to safespot and use alternate fighting styles other than melee. So just consider yourself lucky they stopped attacking. I bet your food was starting to run down a little anyway. BTW, if you leave and come back, their aggressive status will reset!!! NEVER FORGET THIS!!! Hope this all helps. 8-) ~Mr. D. V. Devnull [Edit]
  7. Fastest exp as an F2P-er is in either Air, Fire, or Body Runes. And don't use the Abyss or any Tele Rings. They will only be a waste of gp for stuff like this. If you're aiming for just pure RC exp and don't care too much about gp, useful runes, or actual mage exp, aim for Body Runes. Fastest route is from Edgeville Bank direct to the Non-Abyss Body Altar Entrance near Barbarian Village. I recommend Fire Runes as your primary of choice if you're going for Mage Exp and/or GP, however, because they will be more useful than a ton of Body Runes. That and you need a lot of water and earth runes to support the Body Runes. (If you're doing it right, you need 8 Water Runes and 7 Earth Runes for every 3 Body Runes. And you will need about 45 to 60 Fire Runes too in your attack spells along with proper Air/Mind/Chaos/Death Runes...) However, if you take this approach, you're probably gonna also need Body Runes too to lend to mage exp gain speeds. If you decide to aim for exp and most useful runes without much concern for gp or mage exp in the near future, aim for Air Runes. At level 99 rc, you get 10x airs. BTW, if this has been confusing at all, I apologize. Just trying to get it out of my head and onto the page was a pain. :| ~Mr. D. V. Devnull
  8. Better idea, just kill the computer that the bot is active on. After about 60 seconds, the autoer's bot will log out automatically, and hopefully the autoer will get the point without having actually been hurt. Especially if they have important data saved on the system they just lost and the data was as important to them as their life is. (Of course, that may cause them to commit suicide for losing a part of their mind forever, but that problem is theirs to deal with.) ~Mr. D. V. Devnull
  9. We can try :XD: Uhm, I don't think she wishes to walk around with certain parts of her body hanging out with no cover. (From what other women have told me, it actually can hurt to not have support there.) Probably, we would need a female figure with a bikini on, in her case. (Yes, I know, I'm dropping into a state of over-analysis here. Ugh, me and my 3-D mind.) ~Mr. Devnull
  10. Okay, I'm blowing away heartless619's arguements even more, and in a manner that they should be able to understand, and find they will be failing in ability to argue... Dude, there's about 15 ways that could be handled. Many have been mentioned. A quest was one, paying with gp is another. One I'd prefer would be a simple minimum levels requirement for dealing with it. (Say, about 50 on all F2P skills?) Okay, this one right here makes me mad. As in irate. :x I'm only level 78 myself and I'm at a lack of needed space. I don't even have room for a set of melee armor or a number of necessary crafting supplies. And I've thrown out unnecessary stuff time and time again, inclusive of moulds and the like, getting what little pack of gp I possibly can for them... I literally have only necessary items in there, which still forces me to end up running all over runescape to get things I need to complete certain skill steps. As in, even with having dropped all unnecessary stuff, I still don't have everything I need, because I don't have room for that either! So hearing this kind of [bleep] from you is much of an insult to my intelligence, heartless619 ... In fact, I could bet (and probably win, too) that those 5 spaces spare that you say you have are only from while you were a member, and that when you became non-member again, you were literally way over the non-member limit by a serious longshot. That or you're some kind of pure. (NOTE: Don't disrespect non-pures. We're easily upset by this kind of nastiness, especially when we've been playing as long as we have, and we know to only keep essentials. Why? We're already doing that! Oh, and as a reminder, we still don't have the room we need!) Hmm... isn't that stuff you should sell before ending up as a non-member? :P I think you failed to realize... that is a non-issue in this thread. Quit talking about it. :shame: Uhm... WHAT RALLIES? :-s ... 'Nuff said. ... Oh, BTW, I'm back. ... <*Walks off and punches another person who would dare argue away from the thread door on the way out.*> ~Mr. D. V. Devnull
  11. [Edit] Worse... if you disable your firewall, your PC has about 45 seconds before it gets hit with something like the blaster worm or other more modern equivalent. Further, your house (and/or corporate) rules may dictate "No Adverts Allowed". This auto-renders rule 15 non-enforceable without Jagex allowing themselves to be seriously liable and ending up in a world of legal hurt. As I have stated many times in the past, the PC belongs to the person who bought it (or company if in a corporate environment) and NOT Jagex, so they really have no say what a person (or corporate user) does with the PC they are on. (Note to anyone who would argue with me: I have been the victim of such in the past, so don't question me on this. I already know what happens. BTW, if you wish to not believe me, just try turning your firewall off. I'm sure you won't be defending Jagex afterward, especially when one of those adverts manages to use a hole in your browser or one of the plugins it is using.) <*Sits back and waits for the overheated fireworks of a fool to spew forth...*> ~Mr. D. V. Devnull
  12. Congrats, Tripsis!!! I'd whip out a balloon emote or something like that, but they don't exist. :P Hey... what the? You're female? Omg... and me thinking you were male. How stupid of me! #-o <*slaps his own head... hard*> Well, I guess that took me a little over 2 years to learn! Alright... <*hands Tripsis a big tank full of ice cream, and hugs her*> ...I guess I need to zip my lips shut for now... so I shall say this one more time and scram... Congrats on becoming a Tip.It Admin, Tripsis!!! ~Mr. D. V. Devnull
  13. There's really not alot of good spots there. Actually, I have to disagree... there IS a lot of safe spots to pick from... the only catch is that you must melee long enough to make the monsters go non-aggressive. Feel free to join me the next time I am able to go there. (This will be after my main has full mime and all mime emotes!) ~Mr. D. V. Devnull
  14. Just a side note, in case no one has noticed... Jagex is effectively committing a crime with rule 15 in conjunction with their TOS. A simple analysis that should put the point across: By having ads on screen, Jagex is actively making people vulnerable to malware/spyware. This, no matter what country you are in, means that Jagex is liable for any and all computer damage in relation to those, no matter what their TOS says. So, either they can follow their TOS, or they can follow their Rule 15. But they can not follow both and get away with it. Especially with the number of their servers they have in the USA. They are royally vulnerable on this front of the issue. I suspect this is why we've heard no bannings of those in violation of Rule 15. So, folks, you'd better put a nice ad-blocking setup into place... before that malware gets you. Once it does, the only thing that will get it out is a format of your hard disks and load of your last system backup. Gee, I hope you keep your data saved safely, and backup often enough. 'Nuff said. I think someone should put a lock on this topic. (Personally, I am surprised ~and annoyed~ anyone brought this up again since the "Rule 15: Order 66" topic of some time back!) ~Mr. D. V. Devnull
  15. 13,630 Consider this to be one of my last posts on Tip.It ... I'm not sticking around due to my leaving RuneScape. ~Mr. Devnull
  16. 13,634 Uh, mood swings? :-s I get enough of those! -.- I don't need more! ~Mr. Devnull
  17. 13,641 As a computer might say, "END OF PAGE"... :P ~Mr. Devnull
  18. If you'd read earlier in this thread, you would have realized that the OSK is useless for blocking a keylogger. Crimsoncow42, I support this idea. 8-) ~Mr. Devnull
  19. 13,643 Another page almost down. :) However, we're not done yet. ~Mr. Devnull
  20. Huta, I'm forgetting the quote button and shooting this straight at you. I want to know, what is your internal reaction when you have to come to F2P to pk or team up with buddies who can't be P2P? Do you encounter some kind of "I wish I could use this P2P item here" feeling when you try to launch into battle and you can't use that nice P2P stuff? Do you wish your F2P buddies could have better? Or do you have fun dying, losing your stuff, and laughing at your own friends because they can't come to P2P with you? Now, do you wish you had better stuff to support your levels when you're ranging or maging on F2P? (Something tells me you do. ... I'd be very appalled if you didn't, in fact I would have to think you're anything but human if you didn't. :( ...) ~Mr. Devnull
  21. Depends on one thing: Do you wish to stick with the Gold Theme, or do you wish to show support for Saradomin? Answer that and you will know what to buy, the "Rune Gold Full" or "Rune Sara Full". Good luck to you, whichever you pick. ~Mr. D. V. Devnull
  22. 13,647 ***Zaps dibsen with a lightning bolt to make things exciting*** ~Mr. Devnull
  23. 13,649 You're telling me. At least I have the fun of bonking people here. ~Mr. Devnull
