Nazgul740, if you wish to get really good drops, you're looking at also having to bank at least once or twice every hour or two. (Usually from your pack getting full, not being out of food. ...) Due to this, I suggest you fish a whole lot of the best food you can in advance, and only bank what doesn't burn, and once you have like 300 of the item, take around 16 to 20 of it on each trip with you to the "Stronghold of Security, Level 4 (Death)", and kill Ankous (preferably "Level 80+", in your case) until you have a nice heap of Rune Ess (about 1K), Adamant Arrows (As many as you can get!), and Law Runes (Telegrabs and teleports, anyone?). BTW, I have written a chunk of help for people to read many times before in the "General Help & Advice" area. Due to being frustrated at high-level players constantly asking for this through questions like these, I am going to have to ask you to please search for posts made by me here, especially ones that include the phrases "nats", "mage", and/or "Ankou" in them. You may find my Melee+Mage combination rather suiting for yourself. :) ... Heck, I use my own advice, and I'm only CB 77 as of this post!!! ~Mr. D. V. Devnull

Okay, people, now I have enough thoughts to help here. How about a "middle ground" on this? Something like having the game system give one random player on each team a quick config dialogue? This would also enable the CW game system to choose captains for each team at random, for which special ticket bonuses could be given (say, if you killed the captain at any time during the match), which would add a whole new dimension to the gameplay. BTW, this is merely a crazy thought. (So PLEASE don't flame me!) I'm just taking a little "Unreal Tournament CTF" experience and applying it here. (They didn't have special bonuses in Normal UT CTF, but they sure could have added a mod to do so easily! I just thought of that as to add a special twist anyone might like.) ~Mr. Devnull -

You mean this question, I think: Yes, I do watch more than just Trigun. I also watch "Inuyasha", "Bleach", "Ghost In The Shell", "Naruto", and a few others that are on from time to time. It just seems like Vash is just 'me'-ish, a lone gunman. Man, I still remember when I used to play "Unreal Tournament GOTY Edition" (The Original, not the later stuff that has been 'fancied up'.) You're right, we haven't. And BTW, I enlarged the text. You know I hate having my name misspelled. I normally wouldn't hit a girl, but this is one time too [long bleep] many... I do hit a point where I won't tolerate certain stuff anymore on a forum. ***DV bonks star_in_the_sky with a "Magic Hammer" (From "Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past", look it up sometime.) and leaves her dizzy as 'the blazes'. (A reference to a certain person, which should draw them back in here  ...)*** I'll have to find you on RS sometime soon. Now, for the current count: 14,012 ~Mr. Devnull -

Parabola, I agree with tripsis. As an expansion on this, any Administrator that you send a PM at Tip.It Forums is capable of checking around and 'finding out whodunit'. And of course if no Moderator speaks up, then the Admin you've been talking with can do a shakedown and clobber people as needed until they get an answer... You can rest assured, Moderators and Admins check and balance each other here on the Tip.It Forums. (I don't think they'd have it any other way!) ~Mr. Devnull -

I think 'Dark_Aura' is talking about the following quest guide: http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2quest_id=86 ("Creature Of Fenkenstrain") (Click either link. I had to do some real work to display that whole part. :? ...) Also, search the Bestiary for "Experiment" and/or "Fenkenstrain", if you wish to have info on monsters. Apparently, the monsters don't all come up under one keyword. :( ... (BTW, there is a total of 8 results between the two search terms.) ~Mr. Devnull

Crimsoncow42, are you going for 'just exp', or for 'exp + usability + money' all in one package??? If 'just exp', with some thought for 'usability', but not much thought for 'money', then aim for Body Runes. Although, I do find Body Runes to be helpful when combined with proper other runes and a good choice in attacks. Now, if you wish to have everything ('exp + usability + money'), then aim for all of the other runes, but do make trips for Body Runes in proper amounts with the rest to keep it in balance. :D Oh, that reminds me, don't make trying to save time an issue with RuneCrafting. I've learned the hard way that trying to do so will only be like taking a gun to your foot. :( ... Make sure you chat with friends and such while working on RuneCrafting so you will not get bored. : ... This is just my thoughts on the issue. ~Mr. Devnull

I'm gonna add my support on this issue with a request that a public rule be added stating that "Moderators MUST leave a post stating why they have locked the thread", so that problems like this can not happen again. They should have to worry about the whole Tip.It community coming down on them more for failing to leave a reason than they should for not failing. Now obviously, this comes with the catch that if people want the thread open again, they should do it in a polite manner, to which I therefore suggest such of an interlinking rule to be paired with the one I suggest above. This way, if people see a thread locked, and a reason why and who to contact, they can't go flaming around without being shot down. Just my mind's $15.00 on the thought. 8-) ~Mr. D. V. Devnull -

A little off-topic: Hey, Komodo, you state the phrase "self-automated" somewhere about 3 of your posts back from this post I'm typing now. The phrase "self-automated" makes me think of 'Macroing/Autoing'. Personally, I hope you're not doing that, and you just meant to say "self-sufficient", which would have been a more proper term to pick to state your thought. Just my $0.02 on that. ~Mr. Devnull -

I hate to expand the "off-topic"-ness, but it makes me look at my own online name, "D_V_Devnull". I started out, thinking that I would keep myself to just the original "Unreal Tournament GOTY Edition", and be a silent force that never got noticed... Instead, I ended up forced out of it by my family, and so now my name has become a mainstream pointer through a series of events to my mind around here and on RuneScape and many other sites. Crazy, isn't it? :P   :-s :XD: ~Mr. D. V. Devnull -

Even further on that matter, I personally think that the younger ones should appreciate the older ones, allow more room for us older ones, and not constantly force us older ones to "bend and give in" to the younger ones. Trust me on this, us older ones are envious of the younger ones' energy and such, but the younger ones need to understand that we older ones find "instant gratification" to be a hollow and meaningless thing. We like some 'meat' in our storylines. Compressing whole quests into a 20 square by 20 square location is not us older ones' idea of a "good quest". We older ones like something where we have to wander a nice distance and learn the landscape. We know the younger ones all have shorter attention spans, but they will only develop longer ones if they're pinned with situations that require it. Excuse me now while I take a rest from the constant 'disambiguations' and 'generalizations'... It makes my head spin. :( ... (They need to add some more emotes to the forum options, too. I can't find my emote this time! ...) ~Mr. Devnull -

harrinator1, I'll support this. ... Why I did not do so earlier yesterday is far beyond me, as I remember reading this thread back then. :-k ... Nuclear_Man2, when it comes to mages, it is actually 2 numbers for fighting config... one is for fighting mode (1 through 5) and the other is for the auto-cast spell number (1 through 16, under normal circumstances) : ... Any chance you knew this? :-s ... ~Mr. Devnull
