Notes from me about this issue: 1.) Use "Edgeville Wildi Route" to runecraft mind runes at the "Mind RC Altar". Admittedly risky, but it saves an INSANE amount of time. You'll bump to Level 5 runecrafting pretty quick from there. :) 2.) I have seen "Rock Golem" at "Rune Ess Mine" a few times over the past several updates. He AIN'T gone... :( 3.) Now that "Lumbridge"/"Lumbridge Swamp" route is open, it is faster to runecraft from "Lumbridge Castle Bank" to "Water RC Altar". 4.) AVOID COMBAT (Unless you have "Protection Prayers" and a "Rune 2-Hander" with a minimum 'max hit' of 15...) 5.) IF you have like 20 mind/air/water/earth/fire/body tallys in bank, then go ahead and runecraft a tiara!!! 6.) I agree with Doomster on the Earth Rune Routes (From "Varrock East Bank"/"Direct from Aubury Rune Ess Teleport" To "Earth RC Altar"), Body Rune Route ("Edgeville" direct to "Body RC Altar"), and Fire Rune F2P Route ("Al-Kharid Bank" to "Fire RC Altar")... 7.) Once you hit RC Level 2, making airs is no longer a major necessity. Go buy an Air Staff! I hope all this info helps... ~Mr. Devnull

The sad part? Zamorak Rune Plate is the least valuable of the three God Armors... Sorry Man, but even in a full set, Zammy Rune Full runs for about 1.5 Million GP maximum. :( ~Mr. Devnull

As to the real topic: Specials on free words is an impossibility as no free world weapons are capable of having them, stupid topic. I think the thread creator was acting like, "What if a bunch of those specials suddenly became available to F2P along with their weapons?" ... This is only my guess, though. :P ~Mr. Devnull

Folks, always use the Java Applet's "Log Out" Button to log out immediately!!! :shock: ... RuneScape leaves you LOGGED IN FOR AN EXTRA 60 SECONDS if you just close the Applet's window!!! -.- During this time, your character will not retaliate against any kind of attack against it, which means 100% chance of your character dying and going back to Lumbridge!!! :cry: I can't believe anyone would be stupid enough to just "X" the window or "Alt-F4" it without logging out and hopping at least 2 pages away!!! #-o What are you trying to do, kill your PC and your RS Character?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? :shock: Oh, and one more thing, the only reason anyone could log out immediately after a battle would be if their target has died. :) ~Mr. Devnull

I actually thought of this, then it hit me: "How would a person who's sub-'combat level 70' handle those ice monsters when not many 70+ people are ever down there?" That's actually what pushed my mind away from thinking about it. I guess when I was thinking of a strategy, I got locked into thinking about how to do it from a "fast cash build-up without heavy combat leveling" standpoint. Sorry about that. :oops: ...I personally felt I had made an extreme fault on my main account (D_V_Devnull) when I had leveled up combat so fast but left ALL of my other skills in the dust. :shock: ...I've been trying to not make what I felt was a mistake on my other 4 accounts :shock: since then. Even though I am Christian (IRL) and Saradominist (In-game) , I will not be joining this event (even to watch) for one master reason: IT IS IN THE DEEP WILDI... I will warn you of one thing, though. Watch out for PK'er-clans. The last time the TET hosted a major event that was the least bit "religion-based" and deep-wildi-located, a clan came through and wiped everyone out. And no, I didn't go and tip any clans off. In fact, I wanted to come and watch the battle and escort buddies out of wildi too. Sadly, that idea had been defeated by the PK'er clan in the region forcing me to turn back again and again. I hope your event goes off well. :) ~Mr. D. V. Devnull

Best Possible F2P Mage Clothing Layout :D is as follows: + Blue/Black Wizard Hat + Blue/Black Wizard Robe (... shirt section) + Monk Bottom (... Best option since normal mage bottom option gives no stat boosts!!!) + Anti-Dragon Shield (... Absolute Best Option for an F2P mage!!! No Penalty to Mage Attacks!!! Blocks Fire Attacks better!!! Provides Mage Defense Boost!!!) + Leather/Colored Gloves & Leather Boots (... Any other option for hand and foot wear causes penalty to mage attacks!!!) + Cape (... Absolute Essential! DO NOT FORGET!) + Magic/Defense/Power Ammy (... Choose as you wish, but everyone knows a "Power Ammy" is the best. I only mention the other ones for those who don't like the top option for some reason.) + Air Staff/Fire Staff (... Either of these will do, but the "Air Staff" has the best versatility. Only use the "Fire Staff" if you're a "Fire Attack Only"-type of mage...) Also, Wizard Hats can be bought from Betty in Port Sarim. As for the Wizard Robe Shirts, you MUST kill 'Wizards'/'Dark Wizards' to get one or buy it from other players.
