Chris Benoit and family found dead
You do realise that the guy is playing a character on tv and that he isn't really like that don't you?

"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." The only one I can think of right now I'll add more later.

Ricky hatton destroys Jose Luis Castillo
I wish I was able to have watched this fight, I was looking forward to it since it was announced. Anyway, everything I've read about the fight so far suggests that Hatton put in one hell of a performance. Castillo is a great fighter in his own right, a real hardman, so to beat him so comprehensively is an achievement in itself (anybody who saw his fights against Corrales can vouch for that). On top of that, Hatton dropped Castillo for the first time in Castillo's long career so he must have really been on top form for this one. This is perfect for Hatton now, a win like this one after two disapointing fights is the perfect mental lift for him and a springboard going into his next fight - which will no doubt be a big money super-fight against a top American fighter. I'd like to see him fight a fighter who'll stand toe to toe with him and fight instead of box. If he does fight Mayweather, Floyd will just step back and use his usual boring style (can't blame him it does win for him). Personally I'd rather rather see him against Mosely or De La Hoya both of whom I reckon he can beat.

UEFA Champions League/Cup - Euro 2008 - Leagues & Cups
Now you need to convert the under-21 success into a world cup win for the senior international side. It's one of football's little wonders that the Netherlands haven't won a world cup, maybe you would have if your squad didn't keep fighting with each other. Anyway, winning this is always a good indication for the upcoming world cup in South Africa. That might be Netherlands best chance since '74.

Really Gudjohnsen/Saviola instead of Eto'o? I know he's a bit of a troublemaker but hell if you can put up with Bellamy you can cope with anyone. Eto'o is a great player, I think he'd thrive alongside somebody like Crouch.

Banning of nazi symbols
The problem is the symbol, regardless of it's positive origins, is now synonymous with the Nazi party.

Weird alcoholic drinks?
If you let the flame go too long, I know the glass will get amazingly hot. I'm not sure how hot the drink gets, but I'm sure it warms it a bit at least. That and the fact that it burns all the alcohol out of it.

UEFA Champions League/Cup - Euro 2008 - Leagues & Cups
Lets face it, Henry turns 30 in August and while he's still a great player, his best years are behind him and he has only a few years left at the top especially considering he spend most of last season injured. Taking all this into account ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã16 million is a decent deal and who knows what Wenger can do with that money. Arsenal fans should remember the great player he's been for them instead of being upset that he's gone. This also probably means that Samuel Eto'o is leaving Barcelona now. There is no way they can play Ronaldinho, Messi, Eto'o and Henry in one team and considering all the speculation about Eto'o already, I reckon he's bound to leave. I wonder where he'll end up.

Rude Things That Make You Want to Slap Someone.
What do you expect people to do - walk in the opposite direction from where they are going in order to follow the flow of people?

Mass Paedofile Capturing In 30+ Countries!
The way I see it this can only be a good thing. The more of these animals that are put away the better - less children at risk. According to all the news reports I've seen/read it was a long term cross border operation to hunt these guys down so it's highly unlikely.

Your opinions on sex change?
[hide] [/hide] How are they a danger to society? If you do consider sex-change to be harmfull then it only harms the person who has the procedure. What about "normal" people who choose to have cosmetic surgery? Do you consider people who have liposuction to be dangerous? The very term dangerous has it's own connotations as well - when is the last time you heard of a transexual killing somebody? (I'm sure you'll find some on google) I'm pretty certain it's a rarity. Lets get this straight, I do not think religion is evil. I do think people in politicians shouldn't rule their countries without being swayed by outside infuences (such as religion) that concern them privately. Laws should not be created on the basis of religious morality considering that not everyone is going to share those beliefs. I think certain individuals take their religion out of context in order to justify certain forms of bigotry and to create tension - that in my opinion makes the person "evil" not the religion. Now can we get back on topic? As much as I love to talk about myself and my views on religion, we were debating something. Oh by the way, thanks for spelling psychology for me. I really do feel like you've really impressed you mammoth intellect upon me and the tip.it community which has resulted in making me feel pathetically stupid.

Your opinions on sex change?
Keyword. Probably. Seeing as I get scolded that assuming things about people. (Rather funny assumptions, if I do say so myself.) That's the thing, some probably do lead a confused life. But. some don't. If they choose to alter their bodies, let them do so. We do live in a free society, don't we? I think you have to be confused about yourself if you think you were born in the wrong body and are willing to undergo life threatening no doubt very painful surgery for something that won't even work properly. Lets stop trying to be politically correct and "respecting" their decisions when we all know they have problems that they cant handle themselves. How excactly would you know? Do you have a degree in phsychology? or experience in this subjuect? I think not. Please stop with your baseless phsychology-themed argument. Just because some people see no problem with an issue that you disagree with doesn't make in PC. Isn't it funny how everyone who holds a slightly discriminatory opinion screams about people being PC in order to justify what they think? Anyway even if what your are saying is correct, what difference does it make to you? If people want to pursue a sex change then it should be up to them since it is private and only concerns them - will it harm anyone else? No. Just because you think something is disgusting doesn't make it so and it definately doesn't make it wrong.

fantastic four:rise of the silver surfer
He looks just like the liquid man from Terminator 2 (when he's transforming) or should I say the liquid man looks like him - anyway T2 came out in what 1991? edit - I just saw the trailer again and the reflection on the surfer is quite nice. Although from the trailer (of F4) it looks like it because of how he moves and the backdrop.

List ur most terrifying experience or what u thought was one
That implies far more about the police than it implies about black people. Think about it.

Day 9: Stand Back and Look at it All
We're unhappy because we expect too much. Everyday we're bombarded with visions of fantasy - wealth, power, desirability, respect, youth and acceptance - those are the basic goals of the overwhelming majority of people. However, thats just not the reality of most people and thats what we (western society) struggle with. In the search for those ideals we're starting to live increasingly hollow lives which centre around work, much of which is not the dream job we strive for but instead monotenous unfulfilling work. Think about it - how many people claim to have long term goals designed to help them achieve their goal in life but how many end up truly achieving that?

Weird alcoholic drinks?
Flatliner - Sambuca, Tequila and Tobasco sauce. Trust me it's not nice, you need 1 or 2 drinks just to get the burn out of your mouth afterwards. And Tribal you do realise Sizzurp can make you have a heart attack if you drink it regularly. Abusing codine is not smart ask DJ Screw.

Your opinions on sex change?
Well it's not for me personally but whatever floats your boat I guess. It isn't like it harms anybody so why not allow people to choose what they want from their own lives? It's better that society allows this to be done legally and safely by a doctor rather than be carried out by some backstreet butcher who puts the lives of people at risk - same applies to abortions. The only possible argument against this is self-righteous moralists (many of whom using religion as the basis of their argument) who seek to judge others from up on their high horse without realising that not everyone shares their opinion regarding morality and/or religion.

Favorite WWII movies
The Dam Busters Sands of Iwo Jima The Dirty Dozen Schindler's List The Bridge Over The River Kwai The Guns of Navarone The Great Escape From Here to Eternity Ice-Cold in Alex Von Ryan's Express I like the old war films - they're just great sunday afternoon viewing. The older ones are especially great as they seem to all have iconic soundtrack (ie. Dam Busters, Great Escape and Bridge over the River Kwai)

fantastic four:rise of the silver surfer
I don't think they would usually but super-hero movies seem to be a licence to print money at the moment so it's understandable. Plus I reckon it must have cost the studio a pretty penny to secure the franchise in the first place so they'll have to squeeze every bit of profit that they can from their investment.

Dealing With Fear In Hostile Situations
As Joe Tessitore says on Fight Night 2 - "You've gotta throw punches in bunches." If you hit somebody once (no matter how hard it is) there is a possibility that their natural reaction is to spring right back. Aside from that just go for the right places - between the legs, the eyes & the throat. Trust me I don't care who you are, if you take a poke in the eye or a jab to the throat you're going to stop for a split second which is more than long enough to take a few decent slaps. You might consider hitting in those places as dirty but dirty fighters have more chance of not catching a beating. In a fight it's best to leave your morals at home, (unless it's some highschool childish rubbish) you need to be prepared to put yourself and your wellbeing before your morals otherwise you could end up hurt.

the "DID you know?".....post
I've got the horrible film made about that; Men Behind the Sun. Said to be one of the most disturbing films ever. They have autopsy footage of a real boy in it, along with a cat being killed by hundreds of rats. I read about it in the movies/television board but I haven't seen it either (nor do I want to if I'm being honest). Infact thats how I first came across the horrors of what they did. Hooray for tip.it expanding my knowledge for a change :D .

the "DID you know?".....post
Continuing with facism; Unit 731 was a unit of the Japanese Army that performed human experimentation during the Sino-Japanese War and World War II. What they did - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unit_731#Activities Oh and many of Japan's convicted war criminals (from during the Facist era) are to this day, enshrined at the Yasukuni Shrine in Tokyo which is dedicated to remembering those who have given their lives for the Emperor of Japan.
