I don't blame you for being confused. It's too hard to find this basic information. Fair = a forward-tilted air attack. Dair = a downwards-tilted air attack Bair = a backwards-tilted air attack Uair = an upwards-tilted air attack. Zair = A grab attack in the air (Link/TL's hookshot, for example). Can be used to poke through shields or tether onto the edges of stages.

Maybe pigs will fly before you actually start addressing arguments given to you. For something to be a "right" there has to be a consensus for that right. Freedom of speech is a right in your country because the consensus is that the press should have freedom to express themselves, with certain obvious restrictions. My point was about the extent to which "rights" can be given to an unborn baby (before the 24 week mark) given that it is a topic of such a controversial nature. Banning abortion in favour of the pro-life organisers would be in total ignorance to the equally as strong pro-choice argument. Therefore, you cannot apply a blanket "right" when there is no general consensus, and while there is a movement opposed to the banning of abortion which would become so resistant if a ban ever did come into effect.

There is no article by that name. You are referring to Levonorgestel, which only works in the first 72 hours after intercourse. This leads to one problem, and one fallacy in the pro-life argument. The problem is that not all rape cases are reported within 72 hours, and some even go unreported altogether. It becomes impossible for a woman in such a situation to get the medication - unless that is, you honestly suggest we should punish rape victims for not coming forward within the first 72 hours by not offering them an abortion. Nor is it 100% efficient either - anything less than 100% would still leave a possible need for an abortion open. The fallacy is that pro-life demonstrators argue life begins at conception. 72 hours after fertilisation is still a life to them nonetheless, thus logically they cannot argue this would be a suitable alternative to an abortion. A child which may or may not philosophically exist depending on when you deem life to have started. Giving blanket rights to a life whose existence remains such a controversial argument with strong points on both sides is ludicrous. Hence why it should be left for the woman to decide what she deems as the start of life; and if a woman does believe life starts at conception, not to opt for an abortion and have the child. Diplomatic experience with Canada hardly equips a person for diplomacy with Iran. It would be like saying, "That nurse has worked in a care home - let her do brain surgery". Not the point he made. Nice strawman though. Obama can't help the fact he's black (not unless he had plastic surgery anyway - and why should he?). McCain has a choice over his VP nomination, and there were many people better qualified for VP than Palin in the Republican Party. McCain saw he was suffering in the polls and wouldn't stand a chance unless he had some major fightback come November. He went for shock to try and appeal to Obama's weakest group of support - Hillary's women supporters. For this he chose Palin. It's really as simple to interpret as political moves come.
  8. Be like what? I'm using your own logic to point out the double standards you have. Would you care to point out what double standards I'm showing? Two things: A) Stop changing your argument. You didn't mention disability once. Your argument was (or at least your amended argument was): It is fine to have an abortion if you've taken caution and used contraceptives, but if not, tough monkeys - it's your own stupid fault. I was asking how you can justify those double standards. You haven't answered the question - I'll take this to mean you cannot justify them. B) If you ask me, asking for an abortion because the child will be born with a disability is probably more shallow than asking for one because you simply don't want one, or else cannot provide for one. Why? Because it's selective. It's choosing what has a right to live, and what doesn't, as opposed to someone who doesn't want children and has abortion who would abort no matter what the status of the baby may be. That really is "playing God", and even as a fairly anti-religious person myself, I find that utterly wrong.

  10. No point moderating your argument now - that's exactly what you said. You didn't mention contraceptives at all. But anyway, if you're not having sex with the intention to have a baby, then I wouldn't advise having sex without contraceptives through fear of an unwanted pregnancy or transmittance of an STI anyway. I don't know where you get this idea that: A) We feel abortion > contraception; or B) You feel 'punishing' the woman who didn't use contraception by forcing them to have the child is doing anyone any good. If you're fine with abortion when people have used contraceptives (and how on Earth you would even go about proving they were used in the first place, I do not know), why not when people haven't? Why is it fine, in your eyes, to 'kill' an unborn baby in one situation, but not in another?
  11. People have sex whether you like it or not, and strangely enough, not for the sole purpose of having babies. Sexual intercourse between two consenting adults has been proven to create a stronger bond between those two people, hence why emotional loving relationships are frequently characterised by a sexual relationship existing between the parties concerned simultaneously. If you're basing your whole argument against abortion on the rationale "You only have sex to make babies", then you're being foolish and you're clearly misinformed about sex in general.
  12. When trying to explain things such as the miracle of life and origin of the universe, God can fit into the puzzle so nicely sometimes. There is a difference between not knowing the answer to a problem and fitting the hole in that knowledge with "God", and actually believing in conclusive proof that such an entity exists.

Blame my ridiculously slow Orange 1M connection. It's the most phail thing in the history of phail. I'm trying to convince my Dad into a better connection though. It'll save him money. Win win. ;)

OK, make sure you have my FC added to your Friends List. I'll set up a room so you don't have to worry about that. You should see me soon saying "Seeking Brawl 1/4". Choose my name and choose "Join Game". I'll get a message on my screen saying you want to join. I'll say yes, you join, we play. That OK?

The only strategy you have is to animate an inanimate group of cells into a baby with conscious thought. We're really not that much different to each other. Two ends of the same coin, and all.
  16. The person in that video has contacted Tip.It via me (who also edits on Wikipedia) asking us whether we wanted access to her impressive range of videos. After careful consideration it was decided the file sizes were simply too big and shouldn't be included in the guides as this would be unfair to 56K Dial-up users. I don't know whether the Crew's position on that has changed, but that was certainly the case when I was on. [Odie edit: This is still the case. ;) ]

  19. Presuming an unborn baby which doesn't have the ability to feel will suffer, now, eh? That's logical, I guess. It angers me that in this day and age, men feel like they have to right to decide what is and is not morally reprehensible for a woman to do with her own body. This attempt to belittle the whole discussion about abortion to the point at which the unborn baby can be considered 'living' (which is a totally un-objective argument to have anyway), all the while remaining totally ignorant to the state and the future of the woman carrying the damn thing sickens me. If you don't want your partner to have an abortion, then discuss the whole issue of children before jumping into bed with them. No one is forcing you to have an abortion - it's a choice - and I'm not advising you get an abortion. I wouldn't for anyone. It's a dangerous and traumatic experience for many women. But what on Earth makes you feel you have the right to judge women who do decide to take an abortion without knowing their situation, and then further to that, condemn them to the same level as murderers?

  22. Do you mean me personally, or humans in general? In either case, you're wrong. Did you fail to read anything I actually wrote or did you just repeat yourself like a parrot? The argument I made was that it isn't your baby and it is not you going through the procedure. The same argument applies for the next quote: Furthermore, I'm not arguing for a right to demand an abortion, I'm supporting the right for a woman to decide what she does with her body.

I don't think they do. I'm not really a big fisherman but I think the reason they try to escape is survival instinct and not pain. You should really stop commenting on things you quite clearly know absolutely nothing about. Pain serves two biological purposes. The first is to remove the organism from danger. If I put my hand on a boiling hot metal kettle, I feel nervous pain which triggers a reflex response to move me away from danger (i.e., move my hand away). Secondly, the unpleasant feeling of pain teaches me to not put my hand on the kettle again in the future. This "survival instinct" you speak of doesn't exist. Anyways, this has nothing to do Sarah Palin, I'm ending it here.
