I usually have friends in the floor with me who will vouch that I can comfortably afford it if needed so they usually oblige. Problem was, the only Hex I've come across since starting to offer to buy them was picked up by a guy who wouldn't part with it for 10b. Didn't blame him he was probably ~250m DGxp if it went that high

I wonder if this will affect Hex prices a lot. I usually offer 250m if there's a hex dropped in the dungeon. Hopefully it does affect them

Well he probably still thinks that.... I'm sure most of the Jagex employees don't like what this game is becoming either. But they don't run the show, investors who don't give a damn do. And to be honest with you, Jagex employees value their salary over their morals, much like you would. Would you give up a decent job/career if a game you worked for added a business model that you didn't agree with, but still didn't break the game? Nah

Maybe it's just me, but I prefer when PK videos aren't really edited at all, except to get to the good part. I don't like zooms, don't like flashy shit, etc. That being said your video wasn't terrible, but it could use some work. Take advantage of the extra space you have on either side of the video

The failed logic in that is that you're assuming people will continue to be upset to a level where they'll quit if it remains... The ones who quit over the SoF have quit already, the ones who have not and say they will be won't be, they're already not bothered by it. Of course it will stay... It will always be more profitable to have it than not to have it at all. I just imagine only the very rich will continuously use it regularly, where the average player might drop $20 on it here and there to grab a level they want really quickly. Like if a player is 3 - 4 hours away from getting Turmoil, but all they want to do is PK, so they'll spend 20 bucks instead.

This last year and so far this year has probably brought in more revenue than any of their previous years completely. Yes, upkeep is more but they still rake in the dough. The problem is, we as upset customers are a small, small minority when compared to the extremely large playerbase who don't use fansites, don't play religiously, and who honestly don't care

Got that backwards sorta, IMO biggest Spin buyers are the biggest gold sellers. Like has been shown the people who have already spent $2,000+ in spins all are stakers

I just try and think to myself, "Well, other games have had stuff like this for ages, so whatever" to attempt to justify changes like this. People say one thing and do another. I'd wager less than 10% of people who say they're gonna quit, do, and those that do come back soon enough anyways. It's just a game. Re-evaluate what you treasure in life if you're hurt or upset that people can buy their way to the top. Welcome to the real world, where it happens everyday
