  1. Who wants to melee mithril dragons when they're not training slayer? :? People hunting after a dfh 8-) clue hunters, 52 slayer~Jellys, best clue dropper ingame. Clues = ~200k per hour, only uninformed low levels use them. DFH has a very low drop rate and bad XP, not worth killing mith drags unless your just messing around for fun. Waterfiends = better charms and XP; bursting lobsters = even more charms and more XP, even with money earning time included.

  3. It's not bursting waterfiends, if that's what your thinking... It's bursting rock lobsters in the waterbirth dungeon for charms.
  4. Whats the good of dharocking waterfiends??? Just wear karils and kill.... Generally slightly faster, although I do the void\SS method. Could get 105-108 crimson there, but I since realized that bursting was faster and less boring :P Tell me more about this burst stuff please?? Bursting rock lobsters. Faster, even with the time included for earning money.
  5. Yes, but both of those can be considered to contain slightly more 'life' and 'geek status' then those that simply troll online forums accusing others of lifelessness without bringing up any interesting points. 99 cooking is miles faster then a quest cape. If you have all the required skills I think questing is faster than cooking if cooking is at level 1, but me and a friend did realize its possible to get 20 million cooking xp in a day  Not a chance, cooking is roughly 60 hours; I spent at least 10 hours on RFD alone, and 6+ on desert treasure, 5 on underground pass (yeah, I hate those agility obsticles), and I'll be spending a lot more then that on WGS\MEPII Ehh I think itd be close, I hardly count cooking as 99 though. It's not, I've spent well over 100 hours questing, WITH guides. I can be somewhat slow at times, but getting all the required items is a huge pain.
  6. If you care about total levels, which no one but you sees, train it to mid 70s. If you enjoy it, train it. Otherwise, don't touch it with a 10 foot pole. [hide=]I enjoy it and plan on getting 90+ eventually. Just a side note.[/hide] But if you leave it at 1 you miss out on soooo much stuff, like slayer dart and dust devils. There is a lot of valuable content in slayer, which is why I say it doesn't suck, just is inefficient when you reach higher levels. [hide=]These arguments on our various threads are distracting me from armoured zombies [/hide] Slayer dart: Lower hitting then fire wave, far less XP; fire wave is better unless your 99 mage, in which case COG or salamander is much better. Dust devils = MUCH slower XP\drops then armored zombies. [hide=]You think you have it bad, I'm at PC. Ground out 500 points today, about to get back the void lost to d bower... 129 WPM typing skills ftw :[/hide] Slayer dart is the most efficient way to do barrows at low levels, however, and dust devils are around 65k xp an hour, but their drops are better than armoured zombies. [hide=]Btw don't take anything I say on other threads to heart, I get very "into" arguments easily. Also, pc=pain I did it with heart unit and still couldn't stand it.[/hide] Salamander = higher max hit, more accurate, cheaper then slayer dart at any level. Dust devils are NOT over 190k in drops per hour, and FAR less XP. I hate PC too, I did 3,000 games with HU at the old PC, and 1,500 more at the new. But I lost full void to a d clawer, so I have no choice -.- Debating mode Deviledegg and Personal mode Deviledegg are two very separate people. I've been likened to a machine during arguments :? I'm at armoured zombies atm, only getting around 80k per hour. Also, broad bolts, are worth the slayer level. Leaf bladed swords are worth it,etc. Your not using the best equimpent then, and reduced stats. I get 102-103k XP\hour. Leaf bladed swords are good for nothing, but broad bolts are a fair point - I use throwing rings for anything low defence\diamond bolts for anything high defence, but broad bolts might be worth it. Possible reason for 55 slayer...

  9. But it doesn't affect you in any way; it is neither inconvenient nor time wasting. Un-appealable mutes are convenient then? Because they neither raise or lower my status until I accumulate enough blackmarks I also will never be able to appeal mutes. I was hoping that I'd stated the obvious enough times, but I can do it again. Yes, you suffered the inconvenience of a 24 hour mute, a slight annoyance but nothing life changing. I'm getting very annoyed of you missing the point. The point is that it's unfair to let those who have higher bms able to appeal the threats that we face, we have to face inconvenience for doing less wrong, this is the point. What I understand is this: Due to a flaw\oversight in Jagex's system, you experienced a 24 hour mute. Point out the 'point' that I'm missing in that sentence. Yes, it's inconvenient, yes it should be fixed, yes it was probably worth a rant. Simple enough?

  14. Yes, but many prefer the ends to the means - training to high levels means access\improved versions of things like Castle Wars and GWD, which some may prefer to killing monsters endlessly; I'm simply saying you can achieve that high level status faster if you kill armored zombies instead of slayer monsters. If you do this, skip slayer and leave it at 1, you will be unable to kill some very popular monsters. Hence why one should train slayer into the 70s, possibly 80s, if they are concerned about total levels\slayer dart. However, there aint a whole lot of good monsters that slayer grants access to. So, now you're saying once you get to the level where content slows you should stop? Gee sounds like a firemaking rant. For total levels, yes. Otherwise, don't bother training it. You are trying to dispel the fallacy regarding good combat experience through slayer, right? If so, then you should admit that slayer is useful it just isn't very good for combat experience, to me it seems as if you are attacking the skill rather as a whole, instead of just the experience gained. There are two reasons to train slayer: #1 total levels, where mid 70s would be most efficient for most players, and #2 fun, which you can train to whatever you want. Combat XP is not one of those reasons.
  15. It's close, I'd actually say it might be better with DH. Their range attack is good, but their mage attack is pretty nasty with negative defence.
  16. Not worth it for range, he'll spend more time getting the helm then it will save chinning + earning money for chinning.

  19. At your range level, less then 1k greys. Probably closer to 800 of them.
  20. Well, if you get a ton of fun out of maxing your hardest hit, then you should get it. The strength bonus from the torso is impractical, but if it's fun, then whatever. The game is still about having fun. If you just want to hit as hard as possible, knock yourself out. If you're trying to be time-efficient and go for best strategic planning, maybe there are some better choices available. You'll probably find that you can get a bandos chesplate with GWD faster then you could get a torso from BA...
  21. Actually that isn't true, the deferred marks are still left on my account, I am not able to appeal their cause, and if I ever get like 7 black marks I will be able to appeal them, they do count. I'm afraid you missed his point. They will count if you have 7, but you can then appeal them; the number of blackmarks does not matter unless it exceeds 10 and you are banned, so you never have to worry about this offense besides the inconvenience of the mute. Nah I got the point of his post. If you read my earlier post I think having blemishes on my record is fairly frustrating with the only way of removing them being to put more blackmarks, this is the point of my post. What do you mean by 'blemishes on your record'? The only person that can see them is you... This is true, it does not, however, make it less frustrating that they cannot be removed. It should; there's really no reason for them to be removed as it is. It's confusing that they did that, but I don't really see the problem with it.
