Iron titan
Its really a magic based attack? Thought both the special and regular attacks were melee based. I guess I'll have to try it out when I get there. I've heard wolpertinger is the best non-special summon fighter, but that may vary.

most popular barrow set?
Pretty simple for me; for PVP, full veracs, for slaying veracs skirt and proslyte plate (prayer bonus for piety\+15% strength), guthans for tanking bandos, karils for castle wars\any type of ranging, torag's plate veracs skirt veracs helm for defence bonus, ahrims every time I'm maging. I find that my Verac set gets the most use by far; guthans is obsolete thanks to my unicorn except for unique situations. Very rarely I use torag's helm when I don't want to risk a 2m Veracs helm and don't need the prayer bonus. I guess I use all of them except for a few parts of karil and torag, but Verac is the one I reach for in almost every situation.

Tip.It Clan Chat!
Lightning decided to close it, and there is currently a huge conflict over who should have it next. Many discussions on this are locked or edited due to the chat not being "official", so word really dosn't get out. I understand the moderators point of view, and realize that nothing else can be done, but it is frustrating not to have an "unofficial" tipit chat to pop into every once in a while, even though no one has a clue who I am.

W6 Bandos
Nope. I bandos'd hard for a week and a half, getting roughly 2.5k boss kills, most with team. Consider that 7.5k minion kills. I averaged a shard around every 500-1k kills (rough) and everything else is basically garbage, almost all of the drops being coins. I laugh at high level lechers with godswords not realizing that their profit is somewhere south of 100k per hour, and the danger is high. Story time: (does not apply to W6, just thought it was good\bad). My team was killing graador as usual, with everything going fine. We were somewhere around 20 kills, with our tank doing great (We can usually get well over 100 kills). A 132 with full void, ags, fire cape, strength ammy etc. comes in (Yes, this is all true), and rather then finding a team starts leeching off the minions. We don't miss the drops, as they are usually rubbish, but the lack of food drops for the tank hurts. We figure he was just waiting for his team, so we waited a few kills before politely asking him to leave. He refused, and responded with a bunch of flaming and name calling. At that point we went into our anti-leech arraignment, piling into a corner. Luckily he did not follow us. Soon Graador decided to target him, and we all stood and watched the fireworks. Just a hint: full void does NOT have great range defence. He tried hard, but it soon became obvious his inventory was set for a long, low damage trip (All pots and little food). He was doing fairly well, with Graador close to half health, when the big hits started to roll in. He was at low health, and started eating\drinking, when 3 30+'s rolled in, with a few assorted minion hits. Bam, he died. Now for the sad part - we sat there staring at the grave, then continued killing Graador. All of us had 70+ prayer and could easily have spared the points, but out of sheer annoyance or viciousness we decided that justice had been enforced and let it fall apart. Let me clarify: I'm not sure exactly what he kept, but he appeared to have maxed strength bonus, meaning his ags and other equipment would probably protect over his fire cape and most of his void, two things which cannot be bought and require a lot of patience, skill, and time to get. He came back about 20 minutes later, and was absolutely furious, soundly cursing out us, bandos, runescape, and the world in general. He brought a few other friends with him, many with AGS's and our puny 4 man team couldn't get the kill and ended up hopping. Hows that for a bittersweet story? Too this day I'm wondering if I should have blessed it. Probably should have, but it was a spur-of-the-moment thing. Wow, didn't mean to put up a wall of text at 12:30 at night... oh well.

Yes. I haven't tried it myself, but have seen videos that claim it does, talked to friends that say it does, and been hit many times to prove it.

Can't screenshot in RS fullscreen?
Doesn't for me, that's weird then :P Wow, I feel dumb right now. I'm pretty sure its tied to windows vista's new window manager, so for me it always goes black but for you XP users it works fine. I guess this is a standard problem with OpenGL under Vista, but could possibly be linked to NVIDIA drivers. I guess ignore the parts about it ALWAYS being like that, and download it if you have screenshot problems. Personally I find the FPS display alone worth the download.

street price (not ge) of some rares?
Can't really help you out myself, but since no one else has posted I might as well. Check it out yourself; look on the forums to get a general feel for what they are buying\selling for. I've found that frequently you can only trade other under\over valued rares for items where the price is off by a huge amount, such as party hats and 3rd age, as few people can realistically gather up several hundred mil of junk items.

anti-aliasing?
Due to its small size, I find that normal mode works better without it when the game screen is tiny. Fullscreen its a no-brainier - enabling 4x only drops my framerate by 4-5 FPS, and the difference is easily noticeable. It is most obvious at low resolutions and large monitors, but helps in virtually every situation.

Me and the new graphics
A 64 Ghz card? Let me in on this, mine is 250$+ and runs RS maxed at 1920X1200 without breaking a sweat, but the core processer is under 1 Ghz. I think you mean MB : In that case, why not head over to http://runescape.com and try to load the HD graphics?

New RS FullScreen Screenshot Taking Issue
See my thread. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=748561. It saves them to a specified folder with a single button press; the downside is that the free version only saves as bmp images. Still, its easy to convert them, either with paint or with a batch converter. Most screenshot utilities do not work with the fullscreen graphics on most systems, so you may have to be choosy about what program you pick.

Chinchompa Nerf - Good or Bad?
The thread you made in Help and Advice asking if it was true? This is a discussion, not a question. : As for mummies, the XP is so bad and slow there compared to Ape Atoll that I can't see chins coming back up any time soon. As for buyable, what does buyable mean? Prayer is "buyable" - you can get over 400k XP per hour (More then chins) if your willing to spend cash. And it still takes a long time to earn the money for 99 range. Plus, hunter is now dead. IMO its not a worthy tradeoff, but others may think differently.

Solution for those who can't load HD Beta (Sticky please)
Nope, downloaded the latest Java version this morning. EVERYTHING is up-to-date. I'm just trying to help out people with the same problem as me, that's it. I said in the first post this isn't the end-all solution, it should help some. OK, kuodos to you for trying to help some people. I just found the title very misleading, as in reality it is very unlikely that this will solve many peoples problems, and is thus not needed for a stick nor should be trumpeted as a solultion for those who can't run it. If we made a sticky for every minute change you could make to your pc to possibly allow it to run, the General Discussion page would take a lot longer to load. As for your specific case, I'd bet money that it has to do with your addons or plugins. Disable everything but the barest essentials in IE7, and it will work. Period. If it doesn't, you didn't disable everything. The Jagex "client" does just that; if that works for you IE7 will work if you pinpoint the problem. Sorry, but I just can't see this being useful for virtually anyone with problems running HD. Sure, there might be a few people who benefit from this, but wouldn't it be better posted in the tips section? Advice on how to disable conflicting toolbars\addons\plugins might be somewhat more helpful, if you ever plan on expanding this guide\solution\tip.

Solution for those who can't load HD Beta (Sticky please)
Install IE? Unless you've done some major system hacking to remove it, you shouldn't have to worry about installing it... 1) It's a matter of uninstalling it from the Control Panel, which I do out of habit every time I'm in front of a Windows box. 2) My de-facto machine is actually a Linux box, and while there is an IE4Linux out there, still feels like it's not stable enough to justify its existence. Explain how you manage to remove it from a windows box. Yes, you can unselect it from add\remove components, but that simply removes the shortcut on the start menu. Internet Explorer is tied so deeply to the foundations of Windows that removing it is hard for all but the techiest of users (No, deleting the executable for internet explorer will not do it - you'll end up with tons of strange error messages, and there are many many more files to it then that.). As for Linux, if you are smart\geeky enough (sterotype, sorry but its true. And yes I do have a Linux bootable CD that I use occasionally) to get that up and running with enough drivers for everyday use you probably know how do basic troubleshooting.

How long will the Beta last?
No one has a clue. Grand Exchange Beta is still humming happily along; it could be anywhere from 2 weeks to a year. At least 2 months would probably be a good guess, given the number of bugs needing to be worked out.

Solution for those who can't load HD Beta (Sticky please)
[sarcasm] Himm. Funny how a browser is only 120 KB, but requires internet explorer 6 or above to run (http://www.runescape.com/kbase/view.ws?guid=Downloads_and_Wallpapers). Jagex must be programming geniuses. We should talk to MozDev about this, it makes their 8 MB Firefox look like a huge bloated pig![/sarcasm] The only reason I could see for it working in one and not the other is some sort of addons you have causing conflict, which appears to be fairly uncommon with the latest version of Java. If you won't believe me, just navigate to any website that shows you what your browser is through the RS "client". Whatever then. If it works, it works, I could care less if it's just IE without the address bar. Except that its probably only going to help the tiny minority of people who have a (probably old) version of Java conflicting with one of their addons\toolbars. So its really not the end-all, be-all "solution for those who can't load HD". Updating your Java will help far more people then using a stripped down version of internet explorer. It certainly is not sticky worthy, no offense to the OP (Sorrry if I seem crabby, its past 1 AM in my time zone).

Can't screenshot in RS fullscreen?
Odd - do you have any sort of screenshot program running in the background that could be causing that? What OS are you running?

Chinchompa Nerf - Good or Bad?
For those of you who don't know, Ape Atoll monkeys were changed in 2 ways with the new graphics update: #1: The respawn speed was lowered #2: They no longer spawn from their bones I have not checked it out myself, but it is being posted extensively in the RSOF, along with a supposed post from Mod Steven about it being intentional to balance the skill. I would appreciate confirmation of the changes or a link to his post. Still, I'm fairly sure that its true... I saw 30-40 thread in RSOF confirming it, and none saying it worked. Ape Atoll is no longer useful for chinning. Other places such as mummies\What Lies Below skeletons are nowhere near as good. Obviously chins will crash, and places like Yaks and Avansies will become even more crowded. Is this good or bad? For me its bad, as I was about ready to chin to 99 (Had the cash, was holding off on buying the chins thankfully). I'm sure many people will post saying "good there goes a buyable skill", but I somewhat disagree - earning the money is quite a bit of work, and chinning itself is mildly dangerous and very boring, at least to me. EDIT: Found the mod post on the RSOF. http://forum.[Please Use QuickFind Code].ws?27,28,186,57063246,goto,2 Post 7. I guess this is now a discussion on if this nerf is good or bad. Yes, I know chinchompas themselves were not nerfed, but the only reasonable place to use them was removed (Trust me, I've tried other places. None of them come anywhere close). Chins will more then likely crash, hunter will lose its reputation as a decent money maker, and fewer people will be getting 99 range. Good or bad? EDIT2: Wow, this post survived the two weeks I was gone. Guess I'd better edit this with some new information: in "This Weeks Updates FAQ" sticky, a mod stated that the ape atoll removal was "a mistake" and "would be fixed soon", and chinchompas are back at normal level. Hunters everywhere, rejoice : . Now I just need a few more hilts so I can get my SGS and 99 range

Can't screenshot in RS fullscreen?
It's not just some people, it affects the printscreen and every screenshot program that does not hook into OpenGL. Which means that there are very few programs out there that can screenshot RS. The makers of SwiftKit say they are trying to modify SK to enable it to screenshot fullscreen, saving people the trouble of downloading something like Fraps. Thanks for the confirmation, though.

Solution for those who can't load HD Beta (Sticky please)
Well HD doesn't work for me and a couple people on the RSOF when using internet explorer, but the client does the trick. It is making a difference, I can testify to it. I wouldn't just make something like this up. So basically no, I didn't get the same results from IE. [sarcasm] Himm. Funny how a browser is only 120 KB, but requires internet explorer 6 or above to run (http://www.runescape.com/kbase/view.ws?guid=Downloads_and_Wallpapers). Jagex must be programming geniuses. Can't screenshot in RS fullscreen?
Thought I'd help a few people out with this, I spent a while figuring out the solution. Not sure if many people know this. When you try to take a screenshot in fullscreen JOGL runescape, it will simply show up as a black box. You need to use a 3rd party program to solve this; the best one I've found (compatible with Windows 95-Vista) is FRAPS (http://www.fraps.com/download.php) The free version puts a watermark on videos (Not using that feature), limits video length to 30 seconds (Not using that feature) and saves screenshots as BMP (Easy to open and save as a PNG in Paint or any photo editing program). Handy for those tweaking their settings is the added ability to display a frames per second overlay in the corner of the screen, allowing you to see how much each tweak affects your performance. Notice: I am not in any way related to the makers of this program, and am providing it solely to help others. If you are scared of viruses, scan it with any online scanner. I would appreciate it if a mod would do this and edit this post to confirm it. I was originally going to put this in Player Made Guides, but after seeing all the HD graphics related tips\suggestion\guides unlocked in the General Discussion, I decided it would get more views here. So good luck, and happy screenshotting. (Off topic: I will not be returning to post much for the next 2 weeks; I'm going on a backpacking trip in Northern Canada) EDIT: Turns out this problem is probably linked to Windows Vista; download the program if you have screenshot problems or want a FPS counter. I'm leaving in 10 minutes for Canada, 14 hours of driving, then canoe 20 miles, hike 5 (portage twice), and make camp. See you all in a few weeks...

Solution for those who can't load HD Beta (Sticky please)
.... Hate to break it to you, but the "client" is internet explorer without toolbars. It more then likely won't make a difference. I hear people claiming it "fixed" their problems, but I find that hard to believe. I guess its a last-resort try? Anyway, you should get the same results from internet explorer.

Can't get high details to work? Well have a look here..
Get the latest drivers. To the OP: Sorry, but about the only time those settings will change is if the user changes them themselves, in which case they should know how to change it back. I would guess that very few people are having problems with high detail mode due to this. As for NVIDIA drivers, LaptopVideo2Go.com is far better then NVIDIA's site; it includes the latest drivers which frequently provide better performance. Don't say it's too complicated for the average user... you download the file, unzip it, add the inf, and run setup[Caution: Executable File]. The tutorial makes it obvious, and you don't have to worry about what graphics card you have. I'll edit this post later with more information if necessary. Not uninstalling the old graphics drivers before installing new ones can cause problems with corrupt files down the road. That's true for any driver; I was merely attempting to point out that laptopvideo2go.com's drivers almost as simple as regular ones. I believe the tutorial covers removing the old drivers.

Unintended Barrows Safespots?
Obviously its unintended, I wouldn't use it though. Mods could come by and instant-ban anyone using it, although I doubt it. More likely we'll see a slight drop in barrows prices and an update to fix it later today\tomorrow.
