Yep One is when a 'mature' decision is reached simply due to short term reasoning and incomplete thought processes (Smoke the cigarette -> parents will kill me when I get home), and the other is a 'mature' decision reached due to long term consequence recognition and mature thought patterns (Smoke the cigarette -> develop a higher risk of lung cancer in my old age). Both have the same apparent outcome, but one indicates mental maturity and the other does not. Depends. The best parallel I can draw to our thought processes->physical maturity debate is in relation to the motives. If the motives behind 'acting bad' are for a good cause, it's certainly very different then if the motives behind 'being bad' are simply bad.

Sarcasm and believing in ones own opinion don't affect objectivity. I'm good at distancing myself from the argument and looking at it from all angles to try and see what the other person is driving at, then use that to trap them into making a false statement. Winning is when I make counter argument that goes unchallenged and the other debater either posts saying they give up or refuses to return to the argument. Confessed winning is when the other debater publicly posts that they recant their previous statements and now believe mine after having theirs proven incorrect. I get about half and half of each, the more mature the other debater and the more concrete\numbers-based the debate the higher the likelihood of the second.

This is an example of the downfall of TIF - spammy threads like this that clog up the forum and hide the real rants. That still doesn't solve the issue of who gets to loot it - it's not fair to the clan if someone with, say, level 40 thieving has to loot it when the whole team gets the drop. The monster coming back to life just doesn't work for high level boss monsters; it's not specific to lootshare. The idea of a monster hitting 70+ without warning just doesn't appeal to me.

I like the idea, sees all, but I can see a few flaws. One problem is that it wouldn't be enough of an advantage; for most 'boss' monsters, rare drops are virtually all of the value, and for common monsters it would simply be a huge hassle. Like you said, there's a few issues with lootshare; IMO the person who does the most damage should get to loot it, but for monsters with very rare drops like CB that would be unbalanced. The main problem I have is with the coming back to life part - Kree could jump out and slam everyone in the room with a 70. I don't think that's a good idea, especially when the fail rate is reasonably high and the rewards small.

It's a pride thing. I see myself as a skillful, accurate, and objective debater, and keeping track is a way for me to verify it.

Nope, that's not what I've said. Actually, I've SPECIFICALLY said that children can act mature. Again, stop trying to pretend I said things I didn't. I do disagree, and wikipedia (as well as the alternate sources I linked to) disagree. It is impossible for children to be mature; their brains have not fully developed. It's a scientific fact, I'm afraid you'll have a hard time arguing against it :roll:

Could you point out the place where I said that? 'Cause I don't remember ever saying that, or even thinking it for that matter.
