  1. Err, what? Whip does not make an effective KO, with an average hit of 23 and very low accuracy. Oh, and you never responded to my blood barrage\barrage combo, with an average hit far higher then ags.
  2. Err, what? Both posts you quoted were in complete agreement with each other, and demonstrated my opinion perfectly. Explanation, please?
  3. I've read his gargoyle guide many times., He never says ANYTHING about a circular attack, in fact he says to pick a group and stay with it.
  4. You can't pick up drops between hits, if you hit the gargoyle 2-3 times it'll be almost dead before your familiar even hits it. Running the distance alone is greater then the 2.1 second; it simply isn't possible. Make up your mind.
  5. That's an image, not representing anything. I still don't see an avatar. Will be rating when an avatar appears.
  6. Where did I say it was nessasary? It's not an on or off thing; your not 'immature' one day then 'mature' the day you turn 25. Your brain develops and matures as you grow, starting from nothing at conception to completely formed at 25.
  7. And as I've stated 4 times in a row now, you do or you end up missing a whip hit. The higher your combat stats the faster the kills are and the more difficult it is. Same thing applies to combat familiars.
  8. Slayer helm shouldn't make a huge difference, although your lower combat stats certainly will. It's not the making it back part that's the problem, it's the crushing the gargoyle, running 12 steps, picking up drops, attacking another gargoyle, and calling your familiar in under 2.1 seconds that's the problem. Try recording the time and you'll see what I mean.
  9. Gargoyles have a high charm rate, so over 50% of the time you'll end up doing EXACTLY what I described. My post stands.
  10. It's not an appearance, it's a development. You can do those activities, but you become more refined and faster as your brain progresses. You aren't some chosen person who's brain full formed at age 8.
  11. Try hypercam. You'll end up with a watermark, but it's free and easy to use. I look forward to seeing the 35's duel
  12. And I have never seen a TB\Binding PKer right next to a bank. At any rate, they aren't the type of "Claw\AGS\Bandos" pjers that try to KO you at low HP, they are PKers who try to wear you down and exhaust your food supplies.
  13. That's what I mean. But you've got to hit the final blow on one gargoyle, then: Smash it with the hammer Run 12 steps over to the far group Pick up the drops that the gargoyle left from the last time it died Run to a spot where you can hit the gargoyle, but still have a large enough space for your familiar to spread out and attack Hit the gargoyle and call your familiar immediately All in under 2.1 seconds, without ever messing up - virtually impossible.
  14. Gladly factored in. Add 7k to the cost of the combo I described. Should that prove to be too expensive for your taste, try blood barrage\regualar barrage. Higher accuracy, and the average drops by 1.5, so your still coming out far above AGS.
  15. Why should 150 be anything special?
  16. Are you kidding me? That issue was resolved decades ago, and work by people like Toga, Miller, and Cohen have continued to demonstrate it. It's easily observed with the Wilson card test. I don't have the credentials nor degrees to argue the issue itself, but I feel confident due to the fact that it has generally been accepted by science as a whole. Unless you can offer me significant evidence in the form of studies or public statements, I'm going to have to side with the field of science on this one.
  17. Glad to see we agree. I think it's a great skill too
  18. Exactly, but the shattering takes an extra click. Do you honestly believe you can shatter a gargoyle then run to the far group and hit another gargoyle in under 2.1 seconds and call your familiar before the gargoyle retaliates, EVERY time, for an hour straight? I'd like to see a video of this, I find it hard to believe.
  19. Gladly. Ags has a 43% miss rate on the stadard high-defence outfit, with an average hit of 38 if it lands. This gives it an average overall hit of 21.6. Now, one of my favorite combos: Miasmic barrage + Ice barrage, miss rate of 13%, average hit of 31 if it lands. This gives it an average overall hit of 27.0. Oh, and don't forget that AGS can do it once every 3 minutes, mage gets it once every 6 seconds. Mage will end up with the opponent frozen for 20 seconds with a halved attack speed. Any other calculations you'd like done? I can include a dark bow\miasmic barrage combo if you'd like.
  20. Why are you continuing to compare mage to level 90-100 when it maxes out at level 35? If you can prove that it is indeed inferior at the 60+ range, good job - you've shown that combat level works, and I fully agree with you. I'll side with any argument against FTP mage at 60+ combat. But if you argue against another level 33-35, mage WILL win - continuing to verify my 'mage maxes out too early' argument. I don't understand what your arguing about.
  21. Your forgetting that you only need to miss one hit a minute to ruin the familiar. You should never lose a hit on either of the two groups, so if you spend anything over the 2.1 whip hit delay running between monsters, picking up drops, and shattering gargoyles your actually getting slower XP with a summon. I'll try to video something later to prove it's impossible to lure your familiar onto a separate monster without ever missing a single hit or waiting for a respawn, but it would probably be easier for you to make one showing you can.
  22. No, they can't. Read up on it. They don't have the physical brain to balance long term rewards\punishments. Check it out at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frontal_lobe Yes, some mature faster then others. But none of them are fully capable of being mature, which evidences itself through many people.
  23. Exactly. A PJer goes for fast, high hits to get an early KO, and leaves if he doesn't kill you within a hit or two. In the time it takes to TB (3 seconds, assuming it doesn't fail) and Bind (Again 3 seconds, with no fail), you'll have time to eat 4 sharks - 8 with the brew trick. You'll be full HP long before he does a single point of damage. At this point it turns into a PKing fight, with both of you starting off at full HP until one or the other dies or runs.
  24. As if. Preach was used as a sarcastic term, implying that you were talking about XP rates that you didn't know and couldn't test. I have tested it many times, and know what I'm talking about. You don't need to worry bout me giving bad advice. Bad idea. Due to the distance between groups, your missing out on .75-1 whip hit every time you rotate groups, resulting ini the loss of the 1 in 3 monster whip hit to make a summon break even.
  25. I've already stated I've tried it many times, you can stop questioning it in ever post. Despite your not having the summon level for it, your claim to have spent a great about of time testing it, and your still not realizing a couple of impossiblities: #1, the far gargoyles are 12 steps away #2, your summon cannot attack the far gargoyles for more then a few seconds before walking\teleporting back to you #3, the gargoyles are trapped in their respective areas by too-narrow walls #4, 3-4 hits are all that is required for the average gargoyle kill. #5, 1 hit every 3 kills is all that is required to prevent a summon from being worth it. If your trying to lure a monster that dies in a few hits over 12 squares so your summon can attack it, you will never get ANYWHERE close to the original spot before it dies. I suggest you try this before you preach about it =D>
