Am I the only one who thought that the thread title was referring to Christopher Columbus?

Hypothetically, if that IS a car and it IS in the air, because of the angle of the shadow then the car would be 30-45 feet up, higher than the trees in the picture. If there were a car that could fly that high, it would be all over the news by now... And anyway, after zooming in I can see a black SUV-style body, while the white car is obviously a sedan.

I heard this today...took me a while to figure out. See how good you do. You're kidnapped by a madman and blindfolded. You get taken into a room where the madman tells you that inside the room, there are two vertical poles. One pole is red, the other is green. The green pole leads upwards into the ceiling and to freedom. He also tells you that two other men are in the room, one standing next to each pole. One of the men always tells the truth, and the other will always lie. You must figure out which pole is green by asking one question to the two men. You can only ask one question. What question do you ask? If you know the answer, please write it in very small font size so nobody can read it unless they're trying to cheat. I want to see what everyone else says. :P

Every communication arts teacher I ever had was so ridiculously analytical about everything. I hated them all. I made it a point to try as hard as I could to avoid growing up to be like them. That's why I don't correct peoples' grammar anymore.

The suspicious tinderbox is probably just there for all those little guys who lose their tinderbox. Yeah, but if you find enough tinderboxes your character says, "OK, this is weird..." or something to that extent. What would a geezer like him want with an infinite supply of tinderboxes? I don't think he makes many bonfires. He really needs to just move into Draynor Manor if he's so fed up with people. He could team up with Count Draynor and terrorize people all he wants.

I used to by silk from the guy in Al Kharid for 2gp and sell them in Varrock for like 20gp. I felt cool because I thought I was smuggling contraband silk. :thumbsup:

I don't think they necessarily don't want to understand, but they have such a hideously black-white view of the world that they think the very large and obvious gray area between the issues doesn't exist. And thanks for using my favorite quote in your sig.

That would be awesome..."The Search for Elfinlocks." I remeber while looking over the "Swan's Song" quest guide that Necromancy was used to help you in some way. I imagine that WOM, being sneaky, would have seen it being used and recognized its power, and would now be trying anything to become a skilled necromancer. I would if I were him, anyway. Realistically, the next skill Jagex releases after hunting will almost surely be necromancy, possibly sometime next spring. Expect another WOM quest then, perhaps? :-k

Anybody want to snoop around Menaphos? A couple of the lines joecool drew wound up off the map in the blank spaces north of Prifddinas and south of the poison waste place. I hope Jagex expands that area soon, just to see if they put anything there that would solve the puzzle. Jagex reads these forums, too! :lol:

Wow, glad to see this again. :P Anyway, another Tipiter and I have done a little more research, and he (joecool280) actually took my coordinates and laid them out on a map of Runescape: Looks pretty good. I noticed one line going through Dragontooth island way over on the eastern side (WOM several times talking about seeing all varieties of dragons). He added a bunch of other lines between points and such, one goes clean through the center of the Mage Arena (Saradomin Staff, of course), another goes right through the middle of the center island in Castle Wars (no significane, I don't think...), through the Void Knights outpost and Pest Control area, and through Lunar Isle and the Pirate place nearby. You could go on forever about how stupid society is and not get anything accomplished. I would rather watch society crash and burn and then dance on it's grave. \

Pretty funny. I seriously don't hate emo kids because they're "different" or they're depressing, I can tolerate that. What makes me hate them is that every emo kid I know (and I mean EVERY, no exceptions) I knew when they were growing up, and they had it good. Dad was a doctor/lawyer bringing down six digits a year, got everything they asked for on Christmas, always the first in the latest fad, lived in a two-story house with a basement, on youth sports teams where their moms always brought snacks for the team after a game, etc. I didn't have it nearly HALF as good as these kids, but THEY'RE the ones with the "Life sucks" attitude. The whole Emo culture is just a bunch of whiny teens that can't get what they want for the first time in their lives, be it popularity, dates, good grades, or whatever, and they decide to make it worse by doing this.

I really hate when people see my crown and immediately say "Omg, this mod's a noob!" Especially people with LOWER LEVELS than me! I wish we had a "Mod Taser" to stun people like that. But if Jagex wanted Mods to be conspicuous thay would have given us 99 in every skill...
