  1. Check out the sticky for more information: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=516151 I recommend sites like imageshack or photobucket for uploading images.
  2. Yeah I'm more looking for an answer that pertains to current prices of herbs and pots.
  3. |\/\/\/| |______| Was a bit overused in the chat room where I usually hang out. :-w
  4. And just to put it in a different way: Take advantage of these methods that give you really fast exp. You never know when JaGEx will nerf it (like Dorgeshuun c'bow or PC).
  5. Most people say that the Dorgeshuun c'bow has the same speed as a regular crossbow now.
  6. Currently may not be the best time to train fletching (if you're expecting profits). Yew Longs have hit the artificial price floor in the GE at 700+ gp so it's hard to sell them, which is what most Fletchers did to get 99 quickly. The other alternative is to alch the longs but you'll lose money if you buy all the supplies, so you'll have to get one of the materials yourself (making 99 fletching a bit slower).
  7. Yeah exactly like that. I should have taken a screenshot too :XD: .
  8. I thought I was imagining things as well when I sold my Flared Trousers, but just ~10 minutes ago when I sold my Dragon Square it happened again. I set it to sell for minimum price because I thought no one would buy for 800k+, but it sold instantly and I got 817k.
  9. Do you still buy for the cheapest price and get your money back? This happened twice to me already: I sold an item for the minimum price (or average), but the money I got back was more than I set it up to be sold for. That means the buyer didn't get any extra money back for buying cheaper. Item 1: Flared Trousers - Tried to sell for 720k, got 728k instead. Item 2: Dragon Square - Tried to sell for 767k, got 817k instead. :-k Does it not work for more 'expensive' items? EDIT: Question cleared up by Qeltar :). Whoever sets up the trade first sets the price.
  10. Main point is to get 99 herblore, which requires a loss of money unless you train it with other methods but it will be very slow. I don't mind spending ~50m on it. I just want the cape cause I like the colors. :-w Yeah I used Serum 207's to get to my current level but doing it to 99 would require a lot of tarromin and ashes (245,684). I suppose if I can't find any alternatives with less potions, I'll do it this way. I have some ashes stocked up from when GE opened up too. Thanks for the advice Vincent, I'll take all that into consideration when I stop by the GE later and look at prices. Same to you ikraz66.
  11. If Turael (burthrope slayer master) could assign them, then you can't change tasks. Check out the Slayer Guide to see what each master assigns (yes Turael does assign skeletons).
  12. Well what about sara brews? My friend had used them to get to 99 herblore and said it cost him around 60m, but that was before the GE.
  13. Yew longbows have been 700gp+ each ever since the Grand Exchange came out, and yew longbows were an item that was very high in demand before the update. Jagex made yew longs incredibly overpriced for some reason, and I don't think it's because they think they were undervalued. The same with steel plates, 500gp+ over priced now. Jagex is nerfing alching for some reason. If Jagex won't fix yew long and steel plate prices, I don't see any reason why they would fix the gold bar price. Like I said, they won't change because of price floors. For most commonly alched items, the price floor is 11/12ths of the alch price.
  14. In reply to gold bar prices: some items just have unreasonable price floors.
  15. Anyone with experience with Herblore Training: Are there any methods that cost only ~50m for 99? Or is it usually around 60-70? Are current herb vs pot prices bad for training?
  16. Chewed Bones: http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2item_id=6985 Pyre Ships: http://tip.it/runescape/?page=firemakin ... Pyre_Ships
  17. He only wants 2 99's, Construction and Slayer. Essentially an untrimmed slayer if you think about it.
  18. Well you have the option of purchasing a card with a set limit or a card that you can add money (reloadable). The set amounts are usually like 30, 50, 100 etc (from the ones I saw at my Wal-Mart). Activation fee is around 3-5 depending on which card. The reloadable gift cards, hhave a higher activation fee (like 13 dollars), but gives more flexibility in the end. I'm not sure about the personalized card part. And yeah, you just use the credit card option. And since it's not registered to anyone, you can put anything down as your name.
  19. I would recommend just cutting Yews for money. Even at 99 woodcut with a Dragon Axe, you'll get Yews at a faster gp/hour rate.
  20. Yeah I think I saw someone get banned or muted for doing it.
  21. It's very hard to make money unless you get your own herbs or second ingredients.
  22. Be over 18? Where did you hear that? All the times I bought it, they never asked my age. All you do to activate it is pay an extra 3-5 dollar fee.
