i agree rares are silly, and the owners and shallow and pedantic. Did you thesaurus that word (pedantic)? It isn't really used right. It's more related to learning, rather than wealth. Ostentatious would be better. And more generalizations? Rares have sentimental value for some people, rather than just showing off wealth. Others genuinely think they look cool, more so in masks and santas.

Ok, then explain to me merchanting if it's not buying something at a low price from someone who doesn't know prices well and selling it at a higher price to someone who doesn't know prices well. It's always fun to argue with merchants because they admit that they take advantage of people yet yell at you when you point it out. LOL Yes there are some merchants are more dishonest than others, but not all merchants make their profits by making trades with players who don't know the price. You can easily buy something for a lower price than normal just because someone wants to sell it fast. Then reselling it at normal price to make a profit. I don't see this as taking advantage of anyone.

Stereotype much? I'm a legit honest player... and I care a bit about the price of rares. There's really no point in arguing with your point, it's all generalizations. And yes, I do merchant but I have never merchanted or sold rares for profit.

The wilderness course isn't that dangerous. You can avoid them by hiding or logging off (well someone said in another thread you could). If you still don't want to go there, I would recommend Brimhaven till 70.

Couple things wrong with that. Besides making an investment, I don't see any reason that demand would increase. Powercutting Yew Longs isn't as effective anymore, so demand is dropping. Also, they alch for 768 each, and you don't make a profit from alching if you buy the natures as well. You can't sell for 600 each anymore either, the lowest price is 700+ and no one buys for that price.

Well that's true but some people find it boring and it's difficult to find an empty world at Chinchompas (people don't seem to like to share or understand the benefits).

Well one night doesn't prove that. If there's a long line to buy that item, changes are that you won't get one for a couple days, especially when it's an expensive item so there are fewer trades done.

To me the logo seems the 4 environments Runescape has. Desert, Lava (Vulcanoes), Forest and Sea. Pretty much a hint that there will be a follower adequeate to each of them, at least. ~Cent just a thought, but taht's going to be on the summoning skillcape! also, i hope that it comes out on a weekend, cos then i won't be missing anything. im in school and i can't play... The logo on the skillcape usually is the skill logo. #-o Well usually, but after the interface update the skill icons don't match up with the capes.
