Only 0-50 per alch? Well, previously before the update, you wouldn't even lose that much with Yew Longs. (600 + 250 = 850, 850 - 768 = 82 gp per alch) Magic Longs and Green D'hide would probably work as well and you would lose less money. Breaking even or making profit with alching is really only possible if you obtain one of the materials yourself (like cratfing natures).

I'm curious about that as well. It's probably possible with much slower methods, but is it possible to get 99 crafting within a reasonable amount of time with only 20m?

Someone previously made a topic about Vanilla Visa Cards and all that was determined was that you can't use it to directly buy a membership. You could possibly use it to transfer money to Paypal though. Someone suggested it in the last thread, but the author never replied back.

There are Maple Trees in other places besides Seers but they're all member areas. Non-members don't have any. They can only buy and use the logs for firemaking.

I use it mainly on Slayer Assignments when Guthans can't be used.

Zamorakian Spear is far better.

Zamorakian Spear has far better stats, and a faster attack speed (equal to whip). It even provides some of the best defense bonuses (of weapons) in the game. But even then, it's not very good. Spears in general are bad.
