One of my comments about one of your suggestions: Your 2nd suggestion wouldn't work. Let's say the RWT puts up the 1.2M, and the buyer, Abyssal Whip. Then all the RWT has to do is lose the duel on purpose and the buyer has his money. And people would still be unhappy with the duel arena. (You may not know this, I did not either) Many stakers make money off "overstakes" so having them have to put up equal stakes would kill of overstaking. As for your other points, they seem reasonable and thought out. Good job, I'll probably post on your thread at some time.

That method may be obsolete, but what about trading noted rune ess to a store to make natures? That method is still used because A. Shilo Village is a long rounabout and B. Farming is an unpopular skill so people may not finish a Fairy Tale Pt. 1.

I have 2 green satchels and when I deposit them in my bank, they don't stack :shock: . I inspected and emptied both but it still won't :( Do they just not stack? I'm not too familiar with them, except they look cool and store food.

You don't actually believe that, do you? How much "significant research" could they have done if the GE started out with rune boots at 180k, or any of the other whoppers that were in there? Hell, they still have yak hide armor pieces at 3k-4k a piece, and dragon shield left halves at over 400k. The sticky listing bad prices has been up there for what, three weeks now? ok if you think it is easy you and 100 of your friends tell me the average price of all the roughly 15000 items in the game Give me 50 million dollars in annual revenues and I'll be happy to. :roll: Well if you want me to be honest, I say they either did jack squat, or researched items too early and used "old prices". That would contradict everything they're trying to do to stop real world traders. Buying whip, 61k... It still could work. Have the GE have average prices for each item. Trades could only be within 3k of that average price. So if you wanted to try to transfer money through GE, it'd be almost impossible to get your items to the right person if everyone is buying as well. That's just one way it could work.

Yeah no one sells essence on GE anymore, you have to use forums.

They know this, and they did try to do significant research before setting prices. In Mod Mark's sticky, he said they would start trying to fix prices, relying on player's posts on the prices.

In a recent sticky that Mod Mark posted in the RSOF, he said for new items the 5% restriction would be waived. This would pretty much allow us to decide the initial price for the items.

Furies also fell in price almost 600k when GE came out because Chaos became easier to buy. They're around 3M- now, so buy one :D!

Their best drops are 3k gp, Dragon Dagger and Clue Scroll. and 230 bloods :shock: That'd be a nice drop. Too bad they're so annoying to kill.

Don't believe you need any quests but you'll need 100 trading sticks to enter the area. You can buy trading sticks or trade tribesmen gems for them if you've done Tai Bwo Wannai quest. It's truly an awesome way to level :D after Tyler told me about it, I went out and finally got 99 woodcut.

You could buy Tarromins around 200-250 each (not completely sure of price right now) and ashes (from GE pretty cheap) and make Serum 207's. You'll lose some money but it's not a bad way to train.
