  1. From what I remember, Yanille is actually best. It's 1 step closer to bank. Doesn't really matter so use whichever.
  2. Summoning won't be a "gathering" skill though so you'll need a lot of money if you want to try to get to 99 amongst the rush of players also going for it.
  3. Actually Teaks are fastest, willows are not.
  4. No, they all have different drops. They drop up to Dragon Daggers and Clue Scrolls.
  5. The new "safespot" doesn't help against monsters that spawn in the middle either. I don't know if it's the best "safespot" but it got me through the caves. If a monster does spawn in the middle, you'll have to run out and avoid it and block it somewhere. Image taken from a guide on Zybez: http://www.zybez.net/community/index.ph ... pic=820585
  6. If they look at IPs, it really easy to see when someone other than you logs into it, especially when it's halfway around the world. Even with proxies, you can only do so much.
  7. Go to the RSOF forum, under Recent Updates. Look at the sticky "Grand Ex. Concerns" by Mod Mark. kthxbai
  8. Hey don't leave :o. JaGEx will tweak the system as you probably know, and that means it could allow you to help out your friends again. Even if merchanting is dead, you can still enjoy the game!
  9. I think that's part of the reason they did that update, so that you had to buy for GE prices. And if you could sell for GE prices, you'd make a lot of money off "worthless" items like unstrung bows. Though they're incorporating a shop later to buy those items.
  10. Or just the fact that they can still screw up your account by getting rid of all your items, will keep some hackers at getting accounts.
  11. Well news from Mod Mark says that JaGEx won't set Summon item prices:
  12. You could, but I didn't mention it because I don't really support it. I dislike Bounty Hunter and how it works right now, and the fact that if you have a clan, you dominate it. A bit biased here :XD:
  13. Didn't they make the limits 8 and 35 respectively? Or are going to very shortly? Where did you hear this?
  14. Umm... Where did it say that? He was referring to new items, not all of them. Yes they only said new items, but they SHOULD remove it for all items or else, come January, we may experience some "market seizings" like qeltar said.
  15. Their best drops are 3k gp, Dragon Dagger and Clue Scroll.
  16. Well just ask yourself this, how many people do you see fighting monsters (take Fire Giants for example) with protect always on? It's too expensive and you could just use food and good armor. Even the most wealthy players don't pray all the time. Of course there are situations where you want to pray, but in general training you don't use protect (maybe DH'ing).
  17. Neither Mahogany nor Teak is really close to a bank. For fastest exp, powercut Teaks in an area like Tai Bwo Wanna, you can get up to 75k per hour. You also have the option of burning the logs there and training FM'ing. Mahogany is bad exp. Or if you want money, cut Yews. Don't cut Maples (price is horrendous) nor Magics (way too slow). For a mix, you could do willows.
  18. icecube

    pc clan?

Not too many below 100 combat, but Affliction has a Junior Squad for 80-99. http://www.afflictionpc.net/
  19. Did you try PM'ing an Admin? That seems like the only thing you can do...
  20. Hopefully they remove the 5% restrictions when they update the trade system, or at least increase it a lot.
  21. Really not that useful anymore since there is no PK'ing. You could use it in Clan Wars but you can't attack fellow team mates anyways. But I guess it stops you from clicking on them.
  22. Last word in there... you can make into a bad word if you try hard enough. Depends on how you pronounce it.
  23. But for many items like Sharks, some of their main uses are gone because of the death of PKing, so it would counteract any price increases due to lack of macroers.
