I don't think willows are going up anytime soon. The GE may have some effect on prices, but I think it would make them go down. GL :D And it's typically around 1k logs per hour.

I've seen those prices in RSOF as well but 99.9% of them are fake threads but there's always one or two scared players that sells their rare for low because they think the world is ending. Have you seen any REAL completed trades in W2 for those prices? I have not seen many, if any at all in RSOF.

The riot of SS changed rule 7? The riot didn't do anything but get some people banned and muted... The rule was that all three party clients weren't not allowed and they say they would banned people if they kept using SS. With the help of rioters and Strider talking to Jagex himself. Now Jagex just warns that you might get your password stolen etc etc. Yeah Strider talking to JaGEx changed it but the rioters didn't do anything. It was posted on the RSOF as well.

At least some people are looking at the positive aspects of this update.

I'll give you one hint as to the true nature of this move. Stakers will adapt and take the risk...elsewhere. Where Jagex wants them to take it. I believe that this move was a less than subtle measure by Jagex to repopulate a very underused area in the game. Yeah that's a great point. \

I agree with what you've said and feel the same way, however most stakers make money from overstakes and overstakes are a big part of their lifestyle. With the tournament duel, you can't overstake and can only make double (or xplayers) of what you put in.

Why wouldn't this work well? I think this would be a pretty good update....

On another discussion thread, someone brought up that point. IIRC, you can hold 2 person tourneys, with 1m stakes at max.

Lol maybe worst update for stakers, I personally could care less about the Duel Arena update, except we have tournaments now. :roll: There are so few stakers compared to the overall P2P population, so it's unfair to say this was the "worst" update ever. Maybe in the eyes of a minority.

Find another way to make money? -.- Seriously, I don't see much good about arguing about this. If you want to somehow convince JaGEx to repeal this update, post in the RSOF. Otherwise, deal with it.

Looks like it. I don't think they were happy with people making so much money from a single aspect of their game, especially so quickly (some people). And the fact that 80% of stakers probably transfer stuff as well. :roll:

SwiftShift. How it ruined rs? just stake paper hat, worth 1 gp :D It will be based on player/market values from Grand Exchange when it is released, so no more 1v1 rare staking.
