First of all, show me a dealer who sells stuff without a gun. An idiot like that wouldn't carry a gun, no matter where they legal or not. The odds to hit a properly equipped (a gun with a bullet in it) drug dealer are pretty close to the odds finding a properly equipped gun dealer. I seriously don't get the fear of this fear of criminals having guns and normal people don't. This thread itself has tens of posts pointing out that the situation in countries with a lot stricter gun laws isn't even clsoe to the situation which many of these gun freaks imagine. That post about UK just points out few things: there still are illegal weapons and the punishments for having them and commiting crimes with them aren't in a good shape. Second, they should also work a bit on their immigrant laws, work a bit more on the youth (there has been far too many even non-armed attacks from them) and start real anti-gun campaigns. It's that low? Impossible. I swear throughout my course of planting 100+ marrentills i at least seen about 10 dead every 40-50 seeds planted. Maybe higher lvl herbs have lower chances of dying? Nope, from my experience the level doesn't matter. Are you sure you used super compost ;) Anyways if you feel there's an error, I can post an excel chart with 1049 numbers in a row and the word "dead" after every 0 :P edit: and remember the luck factor which I was talking about and showed even some statistic. Yea I've also had periods with 3 herbs duying out of of 5.

So far on my way to 99 farm I've counted how many herbs I've gotten from the last 1049 seeds. Somewhere around 95% of these have been Dwarf weed, lantadyme and snapdragon seeds. I've counted dead seeds too there to get that ratio. Research has been done with super compost, magic secateurs and by saving all diseased herbs which have been possible. What makes this different to other ratios? Well, this is definately the largest research I've seen, I've been working on to find out how much luck affects to this, how the "my arm patch" affects to this and what this means for gp, cash and seed prices. Here's some statistic at first: This shows the average herbs per seed after 100 seeds, after 200 and so on. This shows how much the "my arm patch" help: on 1-100, 1-200, 1-300 and 1-400 the average stays at 6,9 and after that it rises to just a bit under 7. This is pretty accurate test as there's many hundred seeds done with and without it and the numbers are somewhat balanced. So far I've managed to kill 78 seeds whichs means 7,4% of your seeds will die. However I've managed to save some with plant cure, so if you don't look your patches every 75mins or won't bother saving them, it would be somewhere around 8-9%. At this point some of you might argue that you just found 3 dead herbs from 5 patches. This can be explained by the luck factor: I counted the average amount of herbs per 10 seeds here. This chart shows how many I got an average for the seed numbers 1-10, 11-20, 21-30 and so on all the way up to 600 seeds. As you can see, the line isn't as straight as it would be if I made the "herb per 100 seed average pic) into a chart too. This proves the luck factor: sometimes you get an average just over 5 from 10 seeds, sometimes over 9. In the other words: if you got only 100 herbs from 20 seeds, it doesn't mean you would have something wrong, you've just been unlucky or played with the odds, depending how do you wanna put it. For the last 1/3 of that picture the luck factor seems to fade away a bit for same reason as the average rose at the 1-100 ratios: my arm patch. Because the chances to kill a herb got lower, the average rose. When counting the average just for 10 seeds, the average might change a lot because of "lucky shots" or dead herbs. What does this mean for herb seed prices? Well, with the current prices they are a great source of money: 1 snapdragon seed = 30k 6,9 herbs per seed + 1 snapdragon herb being 8k = 6.9*8k = 55200 This means the current herb seed prices are really low and could be a lot higher. However the time used on growing them makes them a rather slow cash when compared to cutting woods, mining ores, slaying dragons or making runes. This post in a nutshell: * Average herbs per seed: ~6,98 * Average dead herbs: ~8-9 per 100 * Luck factor affects a lot to the average in a short run If anyone needs/wants to use this at their farming guide, go ahead as long as you give me the credit for it.

If you ask me, fundalism is the most dangerous way to follow any ideology or religion. No matter is it Christianity, Islam, Communism, Socialdemoratism or Nationalsocialism. Bufoman, first of all there you are comparing a city with less than 30,000 people living in it. The acts in big cities around the Europe has shown totally different thing. With that number of people living in a town, "ghost numbers" like that are more than possible. For same reason some certain immigrant minorities here have really high crime rates: it just needs few "gangs" to totally screw it up. If we did a research with every western europe town at it, these small towns would be at the top and at the bottom. For the crime thing: if you ask me, I'd rather give away my wallet than be afraid of being shot or having a risk to be involved in shooting. Second I'd like to get some statics how more popular "normal" crimes are in places like Helsinki, Stockholm or Oslo than in New York for example. Give me some numbers to prove the point that these pro gun laws work. I personally got 9 month experience from our (mandatory) army: many thousands, probably tens of thousands bullets with assault rifle, somewhere around 1000 with a handgun, few hard bazookas, some shots with a shotgun and a bit playing with a machine gun. I know exactly what kind of damage a weapon can do and I would never want to see an unexperienced gun handler playing with his toy in a stress situation.

Read your history again and try to understand it... First of all Rhodesia is now known as Zimbabwe, not Tanzania. Google for maps or use wikipedia if you are unsure. Second, most African countries are even still economically far from intedepentend. They got far too less things to offer for international trade and are too hooked on the current price. It doesn't really matter how good the future views were; this kind of economical things can destroy anything. Zimbabwe was ruled for a long time by small white minority which treatened them in away which is too cruel for even dogs, they had a civil war for 14 years and they are too hooked on few tradeable things. It's not a big surprise they are now what they are. Bright words can be said how one nation will have a great future, but it doesn't change the fact that words themselves are nothing. From those starting points it doesn't really matter how liberal gun laws they have or don't have. Comparing a country like that to USA is like comparing George Bush (jr. and sr.) to Hume, Shakespare or Platon.

For more, check my guide. * Farm all possible patches. * When doing herbs or high lvl allonment (=Watermelons or strawberries), always use a super compost. * Use teleports between the patches. It takes few mins to make some laws but ages to walk from patch to patch.
