Usually I'd just go in a team of 2. one mage and one range (usually me on range since I'm 99). The less people the better (less of a split on the profits 8-) ).

x200 i would sooner shoot myself then support a runescape commercial runescape isn't good enough and probably won't be for a long long time(or never) it is good enough, its just not big enough :x

I hated WoW, its way too big and confusing. I got bored very very fast and I continued to die alot. It's also way too combat based, I like the variety in skills that runescape has and that you can do every skill and not just a couple.

That the 99 skill capes emote are f2p? I went into draynor bank and used my 99 cape emote. It was the funniest thing ever. I had no idea it was possible to use considering its a p2p item. Did anybody else notice?

well runescape marriage is all just a roleplaying experience. Its not for real (or it shouldnt be). I consider this to be something a little more original and fun. Come watch me make a fool of myself as priest :D

No no, I was referring to Prayer with Gilded altars :P . Interesting how runecrafting still works there too though :-k . As for the answer of getting a high level and becoming rich, I see how they differ from hunter (which I havn't tried, but I'm guessing there's no profit). I was asking a question more along the lines of "why play the game?", not necessarily "how does it benefit you in the game?" Either way, most skills in Runescape don't seem all that fun, which is why I'm confused that people do them :-# . Because it's addicting. It mimics things in real life and lower levels (at least when I was) saw all of the glory and galmour of being high level. I think that is what drives people to do it. It may not necessarily mean anything but it gives you a sense of accomplishment.

wow, how helpful, that really contrubuted to this post! :roll: I knew about the runite one, it was never actually pink or purple if I recall, Jagex staff would perade around runescape wearing it in different colors and asking what was everyones favorite color, cyan was chosen in the end. I could be wrong on that but I read it somewhere. Yes. I find it quite useless, lol. How is that useless? It's so much simpler than going to your player options menu and clicking on "run" EVERY SINGLE TIME you want to run and/or stop running. And if you honestly PK by using the options menu.......you're an idiot. (general statement) Oh wow, i never knew this. Are there any other "hotkeys" for runescape? Someone should write a guide if there are :D

I believe the comment on interest rates were more of a suggestion to help stabalise the runescape economy rather then something that is already in it.

its just the little kids, they always do things like that. Doesnt surprise me, my little 8 year old brother that occationally plays asked if there were cheat codes, i told him no of course.

you look too hard. If there were no things even remotely related to real life then there wouldnt be anything in the game. Lobsters are in real life, sharks are in real life, armor is in real life, castles and houses are in real life. Every idea comes from somewhere. There are aspects like magic that arent from real life, those are what give the game a twist and make it different from our real lives. If they were exactly alike then we'd be playing The Sims
