  1. No, you're thinking wrong. Not a [hide=] tag, but a [hide] tag. What this would change: [*:20igy4x1]It would fix the previously used tags. The old ones (For example in old guides that are still used) would work again. [*:20igy4x1]If we took the current tag away from the bbCode list, people would assume that we're smart and innovative and designed a single tag that works both with and without an = sign. [*:20igy4x1]It would have a default message, like the old ones. What do you think?

Let's see if I can get it to compile on Linux.
  3. A long time ago in a past, teachers had giant machines that slaughtered all children. However, now they eat monstrous amounts of cute chickens that are dangerous because they like to. On Sundays, cookies are slowly melted down to save the planet of New Zealand. The planet USA, however, tried to erect a statue which they believed would lead to the discovery of plankton! Which is very easy to
  4. 3. The users will epic win sometime when you're sleeping, mods. And there's nothing you can do to stop us.
  5. Nope. Umm, Langzor? :P I don't know.
  6. Hey, that's my idea! In fact, it's been in my head since like May... I have it written down somewhere. And I have a sig I'm not sure is done; Anyone wanna add the finishing touches? Then I think we should give it away to someone.
  7. Mostly what he said. Although if he's talking about two OSes at the same time, that would make sense in the way that having a dual core processor would definitely speed up the program, but it isn't necessary. You would use some program like Virtualbox. (I'm just saying Vbox so that Sloter doesn't kill me, otherwise I'd say Vmware Player). And yeah, you couldhave two OSes on your computer through a boot loader, too. Basically what it does is it lets you select a specified partition of your hard drive every time you start your computer.
  8. I agree, would make a good sticky. The thing with a normal thread about the same subject is that it takes so long to get the pictures that it falls down to the bottom and dies in a short time. The same thing would happen to RLP if it wasn't for the sticky.
  9. Send him/her a private message. Depending on his/her settings, it should trigger an email being sent to the set address.
  10. Still 7/10. Need moar forum games.
  11. The render isn't really blended correctly; smudging or layer duplicate and blurring with a mask would have been a better idea. Also, a red to white gradient map didn't work, and it looks like it has been JPEG raped. 4/10.
  12. Banned for having eyes the size of oranges.
  13. That would be a simple theme change, I think. I can't remember how external links are defined.
  14. Banned for having a red quote in your sig.
  15. Don't feed the troll. I knew this would happen.
  16. 11,617. Can I has some of those cookies? :twss:
  17. I can't speak for the Administrators or the Tip.it staff in general, but this is my understanding of how it works: While you're on the Tip.it forums, you are bound to the rules set by those with authority. Breaking those rules can get you banned. If you don't like the rules, go somewhere where the rules suit your desires. And I'm sure that the named Administrator did not make the decision to remove rule-breaking content herself, but ran any ideas through the Admin council before implementing them.

    The GIMP 2.6.
  19. ... And get fired and make the admins have to unban us all again. Right. How practical. 1.
