  1. This cellphone doesn't load it. I'll come back on my computer.
  2. Dsavi_x4 :<3: PHPBB3 I think a online/offline/last seen thing by the username would be useful, but other than that I have no comment/suggestion. PHPBB3 has integrated RSS feeds, you can subscribe to a board/whole forum. (My forum is on PHPBB3, I love it.)
  3. I thought that when I looked at your name I would see Soulest. But that isn't such a bad idea, I think, just don't mess up OT with 5 threads about it.
  4. Yes, that should have been the minimum about a year or two ago. There are some bugs, but then, everything has bugs. Nothing really major. It makes XP look really ugly, to be honest, not like you will be able to get XP by the time you've decided on a computer, it get's killed by Microsoft in, when was it, about 1 month? Windows media center rocks. It is a good competitor to FrontRow. Flip3d is good when you have a junk screen and therefore no taskbar space (Though Vista does what is possible to keep the amount of places on the taskbar at once down. Make sure you update as little as possible from MS, and never, EVER update any graphics drivers- only you can prevent forest fires, uhh, glitchy drivers. All in all, it's a good choice as long as you don't get Home basic and only get Ultimate if you can afford it.

I, personally, hardly know anything about gay people, simply because I have never met a gay person. I would like to one time, (I'm not gay) I don't know their opinion on anything.
  6. I don't know about you, but I think that being deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan would really suck. Recently, an American family sought asylum here in Finland, with no official reason, but it's highly likely that some of them had been deployed, and wanted to be out of the country before they got it that they were deserters, the punishment is not light for people like that.
  7. I was thinking of suggesting a sky- but I don't like to have more than one topic on page 1 on the same forum, especially small ones. I think computers can more than easily support a longer draw distance, and that would be required to make sure that it didn't look like you are constantly on a hill, see my fake. If they lengthened the draw distance and added a more flexible camera angle, it would make a nice addition- RuneScape always looks so dark, just go take a look by the sea. Nah, adding a sky with out a new draw distance and camera angles just doesn't work. Perhaps, if you like my idea, you could merge it into this thread to spare me making another one?
  8. You're right of course, but you never know what effects it might have on their profits, which is obviously their point. If this was implemented, they would be the first company to try it. As you know, you never find out anything unless you experiment. Naturally this isn't just an experiment, but maybe in the future all games will have compatibility support for those with disabilities.
  9. Nice to see some support! If I can figure out how, I'll make an image of RuneScape as seen by a colorblind person. (Help there please?) Continue with the suggestions and constructive critisism, I'm kind of out of ideas. But this is definitely a good one: Maybe we don't need to change the color scheme. Of course, you can look in the skills menu to see a numerical representation, but who wants to do that at KBD's lair or Kalphite Queen? If we get enough supporters, maybe I'll start a supporters list.
  10. Only once, when I was like 6... but crud it's embarassing. Fortunately that was about 8 years ago so I can blame it on my lack of concentration in my young age... :anxious:
  11. I hope it never happens, then Intel would be the holder of a computer chip monopoly. And I run on AMD, (And nVidia is my GPU brand :) ) and it works nicely.
  12. You sure you aren't Swedish? I moved to F-secure from Norton this year and have been incredibly impressed by the speed of scanning, the accurate detection of any problems and the frequent alerts and updates on their official site keeping me updated. I HAVE LIVED IN FINLAND FOR HALF OF MY LIFE AND I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH F-SECURE SO IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY UPGRADE TO F-SECURE '08 AND IN THE MEAN TIME USE AVG!!!!!!!!!!1!11![/n00biness] *Ahem.* We currently have F-secure running on 3 computers. We have never had a problem, and F-secure has saved our computer at least 100 times (Remember, PCs are hacked within minutes of going online) and we have only had a problem with Norton Antivirus. Lovetofly, make sure you get your facts from a good source next time, and then, step 2, actually state them.
  13. lawl sorry but whats a TFT screen?=P I take it u mean the one in the center? *Sigh* The flat screen.
  14. Think of it this way: With having at least 800,000 people playing/have played, there's a pretty good chance that there are going to be some colorblind people. And be sympethetic for the people who are colorblind or people who are tone deaf. Or is that above your capacity?
  15. Please come back when you know what you're talking about, and please post when you have valid suggestions/arguments. They are going to update it, if you haven't noticed, because of summoning. And how is it bad that it's too similar? The more similar, the better. People want to use something they are familiar with, as has happened with the battles between Vista and XP. And would you spend hours making something that would make you so much profit? I think so.
  16. Not all people can see the difference between red and green, you know. And that becomes a problem when playing RuneScape- for people with deuteranopia, it looks like your hp is some sort of sepia bar over your head, with little or no differences between red and green. The rainbow: When you have deuteranopia (Let's call it red-green colorblindness): So the obvious conclusion is that in order for color blind players to be able to see their HP, they have to make different options for different kinds of colorblindness- (If they had an option to change the colors to violet and blue, my friend Deathskully couldn't tell the difference for example) remember, red-green colorblindness isn't the only kind, there's also total colorblindness and green-blue colorblindness etc. SO for total colorblindness they would have to change it to grayscale. I honestly can't see anything wrong with this idea. Here, to read more on the subject, I'll give you a Wikipedia link: Wikipedia: Color Blindness
  17. Although I'm not much for pixels, I think it looks very nice. The color especially is good, but I think that the perspective for the TFT screen needs to be fixed a bit. 8.75819/10
  18. Wow. If you're rusty now with C4Ds, then what is it like when you're in practice  ? Can't wait till I get rid of this awful 18" CRT, I'll be replacing it with a 20" LCD, I can't use any of these good backgrounds in their full beauty until then .
  19. It was on his list of recommendations, not one of his works. (Some render pack.) The picture was mistakenly taken by one of my family members.
  20. I think everything's ok but the text. Get it in a manlier font and a manlier color. (Manly=Win) Why won't anyone post on my sig thread?
  21. In fact, we had the same story here. Just about three months ago.
  22. Oh great, I don't want to think about it, and I'm not going to post it either, 'cuz I'm not the only Tifer in my family... :-#
  23. I have been doing a few tutorials on DeviantArt, and used a photo that was taken mistakenly, a render that I found thanks to Nadril's profile on DeviantArt, and turned it into a sig, sort of. Original is my siggy I have now, but bigger. ([Hint to Admins]You know, I would mind having the maximum siggy size be 1680 by 1050 by 20 megs...[/Hint to Admins]) Reversed: (Actually, I reversed everything before putting it into the first sig so to be politically correct) Rereversed: As I said, this is my first sig. (That actually turned out.) So take that to heart when giving constructive criticism and any ratings you can be bothered to give. Don't worry. Next time it won't be my first sig, so you can bash me for my inadequate GIMP skills then.
  24. =D> Very good work. I think your sig is the best of them, and I also like that 3D-made background. Keep it up!
  25. I don't know if you can say this but... I think it's well done but it doesn't appeal to me anyway. Too much gray. Not enough exiting colors. Not that I'm an expert on that... other than that I don't know.
