  1. It is possible, though, to get around that. Just have it say 'Your bank balance is above that which java can handle. You bank bslance is the sum of [Number 1] and [Number 2].' I could go into it in depth, but I don't know very much Java...
  2. Ooh... I love the gradient tool for the rectangle maker! Are you planning on making it handle screenies? That would be cool. Oh yeah, and transparency. And lines.
  3. You obviously weren't here when stackable ess was suggested...
  4. This goes along with the offline Pm-ing, I suppose. Supports.
  5. Sorry to burst your bubble, but that glitch also works in Falador park when it's too crowded. It was posted here earlier this month, I think.

Well, you could say that, but that would be calling almost everyone in the world a sicko... who doesn't want to know?
  7. Sigh. He's supposed to be my older brother. I had to type the first sentence for him to prevent him from spamming... :wall:

Pretty nice, though I never watched Casino Royale, it looks pretty good. But I've seen the pic of Bond you used there before, it's obviously not a screenie.

Put in the usual phone prefix for the most common phone company, then the correct amount of random numbers. That's the best way to find people to do it on.
  11. Run around screaming, taking candy with your hands from the place where you pick it yourself, and point at the cameras. Surefire way to get Security to come.
  12. Maybe later, I'd have kids with my significant other. Age 30+ or so. I don't know why I should be 'married' to have children though, in most western countries you get child benefits regardless of marital status. And it's not like marriage affects a child biologically  Personally, I think that kids are a general annoyance. Maybe two though, because it suck not having a sibling.

Exactly. I can promise anyone that I won't be drunk. Or at least not willingly drunk, if I am it will have to be by force.
  14. Man, the community feeling of Off Topic is disintegrating... Although he could spam sometimes, well, he was a member of Tipit. And banning him without giving a reason to the public as a warning was simply not a good idea, in my opinion. Anyone remember, on my not-so-long-ago thread 'How many languages can you speak'? 12 thousand posts give people the right to spam, apparently. Even though that kind of thing showed up every once in a while, we miss you, Bubs!

Speak for yourself. I'm 13, and I'm pretty (Bleep) glad that my parents don't drink. My first kiss was embarrassing too, I am really glad that I've managed to forget about it...
  16. You can decide to be 'individual' instead of a part of the blank masses. What's stopping you? The blank masses. And yes, I have decided to be an individual.

Me? I've had my brushes with the law, see my post on th 'Annoying Customers' thread. Good topic, that.

+1, but vice versa since I'm a guy, of course. But it wasn't a real one, just on the hand.
  19. We have a big drinking problem here. 1 in every 10 000 people die from alcohol poisoning every year. (Population 5 mil, 500 people every year.) My friend has been drunk, he was just a few months over 13. Yep, on the boats from here to Sweden it's happy time, because of the nonexistent tax on alcohol.
  20. Individuality is not a possibility in this world we live in. If only it were.
  21. You're grossly over-exaggerating the 'cost-increase effect' of socialist democracies like Finland. The only thing that makes things more expensive is taxation. Your scenario is so unrealistic I had to respond and do research on that. I browsed a few finnish computer retailers online now, such as this one since you mentioned that, the new computers in Euro prices are very near to those I see for sale in the US, in the 500-$1000 price range on average. Where exactly did you see a computer costing $900 in the US while costing $2,600 in Finland? The logic that "socialist welfare systems mean nobody can afford anything" has no justification. At most, costs can be slightly increased in nordic countries due to their geographical isolation from mainland Europe and shipping costs. Apparently Dell doesn't sell home computers in Finland anymore, so I can't get you a quote. But the one in Finland actually was less powerful. Maybe the price has gone down that much in a year, I don't know. But I remember researching computers in Finland and that is one of them I saw. You're right, of course I picked the worst case. But the fact remains that these cases exist, and I brought up this example just to make a point.
  22. Yeah, which? As for the pic, =D>.
  23. Nice. Which program, photoshop, or what? I just have the GIMP, although that rocks too, I can't afford photoshop. :(
  24. I have to say, +1, but then... ...Why not try living in a European country that's socialist for a bit? You have to see both sides of things, you know. I could have paid 2,600 USD for this computer in Finland, but I chose 900 USD in America instead. Listen: It would be less expensive to fly to America and back and buy the computer (Or car or whatever) in America than it would be to stay put an get it in Finland, thanks to our healthcare.
