1. ...And get ready to go to system and roll back the drivers. My latest ones for my 8600 GT turned Vista to greyscale. Try to see if your monitor data cable is completely plugged in, and if it is, how tight the cable is. That was my last post in 2007. Have a better 2008 than 2007!
2. My 8600 GT runs a Half-Life 2 based mod at 290 fps (Max) x 1024 x 768, but then this is more for gaming, so I don't really know.
3. I have one. How about not double posting, which reduces the risk of being banned, or getting back to RSOF?
4. Shut up. If Mac propaganda is true, we don't need one. Why? Macs are easy. And perfect and faultless. [/sarcasm] Linux isn't user-friendly, simply because the makers of Linux aren't professionals, and few people know about it, when compared to Windows. There, you got your flame. [/flame]
5. I would post, but here in Finland it's almost new years and I want to go out and do stupid, brainless acts of suicide with pyrotechnics. You'll see it in a while. For now this will be my reserved space.
6. Personally when it comes to Linux, I'm not really on the 'In the know' side of things. I have posted a 'Which Linux version to use' thread, and others have too. The sticky would contain more or less everything Tip.It knows about Linux, instead of a new topic being posted and only the knowledge of the people that happen to be there/can be bothered to post/etc. shows up. So what do you think? It would be one less topic here. Edit: Ok, now we're going to start posting info, and see how it goes. First, lets get together some info on what Linux actually is. And after that, the top five or so Linux distributions. Copy this, code tags and all, into your post and fill out the form:
Name of Distro: Wikipedia link: Good for people who: Takes this much space on Hard Drive (With standard install): Runs good on computers with this much power minimum:
Processor: RAM: GPU (Graphics card):
Special features?: Pros: Cons:
8. Check the last thing on my location. No, anywhere between 10 to 27 km away.
9. Yes, I noticed a decline since Bubsa was banned. I think that you now belong to the board of retired RuneScapers- Off Topic. We still have a few people left that have actually intelligent posts, I would be honored to be recognized as one of them. However, since the Real Life pictures sticky was made, some General Discussioners spilled over, leading to a huge volley of spam, now on page 4 or 5. We hope that sometime soon the effect will wear off, but we still have a ways to go.
10. Furry conventions are bad enough...
11. Have fun- but you need stimulants? Seriously...
12. Haha. Timezones are built into Java. It just gets your timezone (I don't know what through) and displays it. Doesn't support, I hate looking at that time, don't ask.
13. This applies to corporations as well as individuals. First time a Pearls Before Swine strip has had some relevance.
14. This is an issue in which I feel very strongly, and I wish to impress the whole world with my opinion on this, even if it's one person at a time. It means a lot to me, this subject, it isn't respected enough among the leaders of our society. Actually, I had too much cartilage as a kid. If I walked too much, my leg would hurt very painfully for several hours, until I wore the cartilage off. Maybe...
15. Congratulations, you have won the Emo quote of the day award. Lols @ emo quote of the day Don't worry, it's normal.
16. So you think that companies will go to the farthest degree in terms of revenue? Maybe not all, but i'm really shocked that this company in particular literally KICKED OUT Legit players for living in a certain area permently. So if you gave these guys money, you would lose it and thats just to bad. Amazing what companies do these days. Of course. If there was no profit, there would be no game companies, obviously.
17. Maybe this is a matter of personal opinion, but I think the text would look better smoother.
18. Hey, another ZamZar (<3:) user!
19. There is a sticky for this. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=593642
20. They will go as far as the law allows them, simply.
21. Probably just havin a laugh .... :-k Seriously screwed up incident. Boy, I would've laughed my head off after killing a 7-year old girl! I mean, what a laugh!
22. As others said, this spells trouble for democracy in Pakistan. Glad not to be living there...

25. Dunno about you, Nad, but Ubuntu is jut too easy for me. I had to switch to Fedora 8 (FTW) to get breathing agasin. I also use Vista, if you're wondering. Just a random fact, Mac OS X does run on Vista, if you do some tweaking... My friend and I are on a quest to run it on a PC. An RL quest. Meh, I figured the goal of an OS generally was to be as user friendly as possible while giving plenty of power to the user if they want, along with good security. Is Ubuntu limiting at all in what you can do in it? Also, you say you can run Mac OS X on vista... that doesn't make any sense. You don't run an OS on another OS, you would mean to say probably that you can get it to work with your hardware. (or, perhaps, you can emulate it through vista but I don't know if that is possible). Yes, that's what I'm saying, emulation. Running Mac OS X on top of Vista. Pearpc. It's hard to install, though.
