You're back! The one of the girl standing by the fence and the bonfire one are really good. Love the colors.

Ehh, icons are overused these days. It's hard to get it right when it's so easy to get it wrong. Your page took a good 10 seconds to load, I understand it's from a "free" host but try to optimize your page so that it loads in ~5 seconds with a clean cache.

Seriously, that bballer kid is a noob. +1 :P Nice setup you've got there. And of course obligatory for college: Ramen noodles.

Dont mess with the ceiling fans!
I can imagine that stung pretty badly for a bit, but I think getting stitches for that is a bit overkill. And lol @ Poke :P

You're certainly onto something with that design but the typography is lacking. You have it set to Arial, which is OK, but either you're not using it very well or you shouldn't be using it. I can't really decide. The "Design Services" logo text is fine, but good luck complementing it with typography. Try Trebuchet MS. The footer feels a bit random and isn't put to any use. The header has too much contrast relative to the rest of the body; It's distracting. Can you post the CSS? I have this feeling you use transparent PNGs for those boxes. :shame:

YouTube Inteo Request
After effects is not necessary, you know. :P
-
Really, what?
It is either a bug in Google Chrome, or a bug in the server causing it to print text with the wrong encoding maybe? As long as this doesn't happen all the time though, I'm sure you're fine.

Either it would take a huge amount of work, or it would look like junk. That's usually how it works.

A new challenger approaches
I think it's a bit early for that yet. Your first problem is probably focus. Are you sure you have it on autofocus? Press the shutter halfway and wait for it to indicate that it has focused before shooting. Then keep the camera as still as possible while it shoots. Your second problem is composition. Make use of the rule of thirds, diagonal lines, horizontal or vertical lines, guiding lines, the golden spiral, etc. The third is colors. Warm, cold, saturated, grayscale, smooth or grainy. These are all tools to be used as you wish, in combination with each other or on their own. Later you'll learn to break those rules.

Bugatti Veyron Typograpy V2
Hey, you're back. It does look good, but the problem is that you did not use the text to create the contours and shapes of the car. Having it constantly horizontal strikes me as pretty, well, boring. Otherwise it works very well.

An Abstract Peice
It doesn't seem to have any sort of flow; The shape in the middle just looks random and out of place. I hope you know what I mean by flow. It could be described as a path for the eye to move on while looking at an image. These have flow: Flow is usually in a certain direction. In the first signature (By Soa), the flow is pretty clearly illustrated by the horizontal line. The flow is from left to right. In the second sig, also by Soa, the flow is from the top left to lower right or vice-versa- Flow can be bidirectional. In the last sig, by Thruitall, it is kind of difficult to clearly make out the direction of flow but I would say it goes from the middle right to the upper left. Hope this helps.

You can't do that apparently.

GIMP 2
After adding an alpha channel, you can use the rectangle select tool ®, ellipse select tool (E), free select tool (F) or magic wand (U) to select areas of the image and press delete to make them transparent. Or you can use the eraser tool (SHIFT+E) and use different brushes to erase the image for a similar effect. Don't worry, the interface will be rewritten in the next version.

Couple of smudge tags
I know, I have totally ripped your style. But I added a bit of my own! :P

Couple of smudge tags
I like the first one a lot more. C/C? I'm also thinking of using the same techniques to make an LP.

First LP In Liekk...
I kind of like the first one better. The color makes it look a lot more interesting, although I would probably choose a slightly different color scheme.

The video is private. Edit: Didn't know you had to subscribe. Edit: Subscribing doesn't work. Still says it's private. Edit: Yes it did, it just took time for it to register. :P

First ever Gimp drawing.
Nadril never said that he wanted it perfect. I'll let the quote speak for itself. He's following the old unwritten rule of constructively criticize first, then point out the good parts in the end.

Shoe.
I have to be honest Nad, when I saw that you posted here I was thinking oh boy, here we go again. But like you said, Hawk has made a lot of progress. Yeah scanners are annoying. Even if it's easier than a camera it makes the contrast really harsh. Go for smoother strokes with the pencil (Assuming it is pencil; The scanner makes it look like pen :| ) and try to get it even. Remember, light, parallel strokes, then change shading direction and add another light layer until it's the right shade.

Whats this?
That is really suspicious. You don't have any more tabs or windows open? I certainly wouldn't open that file.

Profile Pictures!
Excellent! :D

Coffee/Tea
They taste good, I knew that when I was 14. :P I have to try this Kea/Toffee business. It actually sounds interesting.
