I use a greasemonkey-based quick edit for phpBB3, and I support the idea of building one into the forum.

I don't think I can help you then; I just looked for the easiest way to install X11 on a mac and posted it here. I suggest you look on a Mac or GIMP specific help forum for advice, not many people around here use both GIMP and mac. Good luck :thumbup:

Lots and lots of details please. Which certain ones? While loading what? What were you doing at the time? How long has it happened? Have you noticed a pattern in this? Answer those and a few more, maybe.

10 minutes to start up? I've got an eleven year old laptop (256 mb RAM, 366mhz processor, no graphics RAM) running on Linux that boots in half that time. If your cousin doesn't use games or anything Windows only I would say move to Ubuntu. Which sounds pretty short until you realize that half of 10 minutes isn't that snappy either.

It doesn't really matter what Apple would think, Jagex won't do it anyway. They said that they would never make a port of it.

Got an inch of snow last night, hoping for more (I wouldn't mind a foot or two :P ) for tomorrow when I go skiing. Now there's this thin layer of light, fluffy snow on top of hard-packed snow that's nearly ice and covered in dirt. Looks kind of weird.

You need X11, if it wasn't apparent already. Get your install disk and run the installer, and select the X11 option. Follow the instructions. Then try using gimp again.

Strange. I can't really tell why that would happen, other than if if your camera compiles longer exposures in some funny way.
