Get like 20-30k bronze knives (14ea) and use those. Much cheaper then iron knives and just as good. Maybe train on ogres or something, since you won't have to pick up your darts because they're so cheap.

First I bought 40k steel darts, since they were cheap (58ea). Then, I realized that bronze darts were even cheaper, so I bought 50k of those (14ea). After that, I found out bone bolts were even cheaper then darts (4ea), so I bought 50k of them. What am I gonna do with all of those projectiles now #-o A suggestion for your experiment: In order to minimize error (things such as clicking delay, random luck, etc), perhaps you should try like 500 of each type of ammo at bandits (without accumulator), since they auto-attack and there will be no clicking involved. That should give you even more precise results. I would do the above myself, but I'm inactive right now, so I sold most of my gear to buy phats and stuff :-w

Does anyone know if bandits will auto-attack you if you wear bandos or armadyl armour (like they do for zammy/sara)? I was going to wear full armadyl, dfs, bandos boots, fury, and accumulator for ranging, so no room for anything zammy/sara. I'm looking for a yes/no answer from someone who has tried training at bandits with some armadyl or bandos armour :

I have 8 crystal bows, degradation is never an issue...why? You count your shots, at about 240, switch to a lower bow, when it hits 10 shots the weaker bow you now have equipped, takes the degradation. Switch back to your full bow and repeat. Gives the ability to shoot 240 shots at full crystal power, and 10 shots at a lower. I use 10 in case I miscount. So 95% of the time I am using the most powerful bow without concern of collecting bolts/arrows. 8 bows because making that run to the elf to recharge is more efficient, plus you go through bows quick. I have dark bow *points to slayer lev*, and while it looks cool, I prefer to sell them and use my crystals, even tho as you can tell by my stats, I dont range often as I detest it. Nver understood the attraction, 2-3 hits melee, vice 2-3 mins plucking a bow...same kill. meh btw i go through about 6k cannon shots per dark bow drop...sigh, still profitable tho *huggz slayer* May I ask if you have a special trick counting? or do you just count them 1 after 1 etc. I used to count my shots 1 by 1...that got boring after about 10 shots... I don't know why people use a crystal bow now anyways, since a rune xbow with mith/addy bolts is better, and you don't have to count shots or recharge it :-k Those saying db is a good overall weapon, I bet they never actually tried training with it :lol:

Trust me, don't waste your time or money; it's really not worth it. A msb, crystal bow, or iron knives are all much better alternatives.

Wow, thanks a lot for posting this. I calculated that I will make about 2M profit after buying vials and seconds and making pots from herbs above herralander. I should have about 10k herbs by New Year's. It's a shame you get so few ranarrs though, I thought you would get about 10% :-X

If you afk at giant skeles for 10M+ exp, you're bound to get a few :lol:

It's not a bad idea, but unless you use ahrims or something, you will splash a lot. I wasted about 80k fire bolts on steel drags (much higher drop rate), and the drops didn't even come near to covering the money I spent on runes. 1. Ahrims, infinity, and farseer all have the same mage bonus. Farseer or infinity (if you wanna look nice or something) would be better since you won't have to repair. 2. Glory > fury. Same mage bonus, but you get a few tellies on a glory. You won't be melee'ing them, so no need for the higher melee def. 3. In most cases, ring of life works best (unless you have never dc'ed in your life). Otherwise, whether a seers or wealth is better is debatable. 4. There is a bronze axe on brimhaven, which saves you the trouble. 5. 16 antifires is far too many, unless you will be alching drops like rune bars (12 4's work best). 6. No need for a tele if you bring a glory :wink:

With ruby/diamond bolts, you can probably solo him at 80+ range with the right equipment. I can take down quite a few at 94 range, and that's with like lobs :-w

You have to show the defender to that lady outside the door. Otherwise, you will be stuck at bronze.

Uhm, no. A new impling spawns only after the previous one has been caught. The same thing goes for any other monster.
