  1. No, finding combos and experimenting is fine. Hitting double of a person equal leveled to you is not fine. Two equal leveled players in pretty much every other game made have an equal chance of winning and the outcome depends more on skill. In RS the pure beats the normal player always. So, this person who decided to get combat xp in less damaging skills (Prayer, Defense) while I decided to get damaging ones should hit as much as me? In that case, screw training strength, ranged, and magic. We'll all be equal anyways. My level 5 [Insert Combat Skill Here] hitting as much as their level 30? Sounds good. Oh yeah, you contradict yourself. "Two equal leveled players in pretty much every other game made have an equal chance of winning and the outcome depends more on skill" You're right. They do have an equal chance. Thing is, pures and 'impures' aren't equally leveled. You fail.
  2. Communism makes control easy however and almost all leaders of communist countrys take advantage of this fact. And how does the control of a socialist government differ from that of a democracy? What of the martial law that occurred in Pakistan just a few weeks ago? The rights of the citizens of that country were suspended during that state of emergency. Our president can just as easily declare the same thing. And what can we do, revolt? It is proven that our rights can and will be taken away for our safety.
  3. You're right, it's not their fault they have to gold farm instead of work in a factory. It's their government's fault for not setting sufficient standards and creating a cruddy POS workplace. And I love how you point out Americans, and not any UK countries or, for that matter, any other first-world countries at all. Using us as such a stereotype when you commit the same 'crimes'. I wouldn't be surprised if if you're racist. Ok first of all, if you have no better input then to incorrectly call me a "racist", I would advise you to stay out of this thread. Notice I said "IDEAL FUNCTIONING COUNTRY" this would include your United Kingdom you dolt. I said America because well..... oviously most of runescapes players are American? Did you not notice this when you see the 75 American servers over the UK's 17? What did you wan't me to do? Make a list of all the countries that have people with money playing runescape? Would this make me not racist? Seriously that entire wall of text I just wrote and the best thing you can come up with is calling me racist because I didn't list every country with wealth that plays runescape. You must of been one of the ones shipped to runescape through miniclip huh? How 'bout instead of directly targeting Americans, you copy-and-paste that 'ideal functioning countries' in its place and not single a country out. I might as well blame Africa for AIDS, even though it's common worldwide, because it's more problematic and widespread there. To blame someone that has become the stereotype of a problem, even though the extent is beyond their boundary with a large amount of other cultures involved, is not only hypocritical but, in my mind, racist.
  4. In case you haven't noticed with bots on the point of non-existence, prices have still not inflated to great heights. In fact, prices have been on the drop since the stake cap, with a fair amount of products stabilizing at prices well below their original prices. What are lobsters at now? 120, 150 each? Before the cap, you could make constant sales at 250 each. Flax and bowstrings? Same thing. All of those examples were products of bots. Yet, with the lack of them prices are still not rising, and will not rise.
  5. It's been said before, but lemme make it clear for any morons who still believe it... Communism DOES NOT equal Control! Whoever thinks the opposite, get it through your dense head and take a social study class and LEARN something! That's why you go to school! So you don't end up being an ignorant, stupid fool!
  6. It has always been about grinding. Most MMOs is just grinding because that's the only way to get 'better' (higher stats). It just makes the requirement to level higher, because the same amount of skill to cut a magic tree is the same as cutting an oak one. It's not a FPS where, to get better, you gain actual skill and better reflexes. But the difference is, you can carry that skill to different FPS games. You can't really get 'better' in MMOs. There's probably a small handful of them out there that don't need grinding to get stats. If you know any, please name them.
  7. Don't forget the last one. "ohhh, i got scammed out of 8m..." "ohhh i was doing clue scroll and got pked" "a noob lured me and i lost 50m" "OMG! RuneScape is filled with noobs! It's their fault this game sucks!" EDIT: Oh yeah, Felter Laur. Rants is my favorite forum, too. It makes me smile in amusement when I see there are a great deal of idiots out there creating POS threads.
  8. 1. Let's see. A good percentage of threads about Revenants are about them being overpowered. Pfft, the Wilderness is more dangerous than it was with PKing. And don't even talk about trying to kill them in F2P. 2. There's no danger in real life! I'm not allowed to drive on the wrong side of the road! It should be made legal and not punishable if I kill someone else and myself doing it because stupid people deserve to be killed for their acts![/sarcasm] 3. "^ same as above , just don't be stupid." 4. Gravestones eliminates more than 3/4s of way to transfer items, it wasn't put there to eliminate danger of losing items. 5. Like you don't use it, on any of the spellbooks... Oh no! All the danger of leaving the Karamja Volcano is lost because I don't want to have to go to Draynor to get a teleport! 6. And the world map has been around forever, idiot. That's almost as stupid a reason as saying the mini-map creates a major loss of risk because you can see where enemies are on it.
  9. No, what I love is when I have 6 people up on me and get they pissed cause I own them and have to eat after killing 2 of them off.

  11. And what of those who PKed for loot and not for sport? Make friends and go to bh, jagex isnt going to change the wild back into a loot system. So, bring back the PKing in the normal wilderness and keep BH and CW? Works for me. Because the way you worded it, it sounded like you wanted to remove everything back to the way it was, but leave the stones so you can't get a drop.
  12. Err... If you do not buy a stone, you get a wooden sign. Wood does not equal stone, last time I checked, so I'd call it more of a grave marker than a gravestone. Stop flaming him for lying when he was just talking about losing money and you don't even know him. He didn't say he didn't get a gravestone because it wasn't stone. He said he didn't get a gravestone to go back and get his stuff, which is a lie because he was still able. So don't get technical with me, as Jagex also calls them gravestones.
  13. And what of those who PKed for loot and not for sport?
  14. Oh my god! Read my post! It's like 5 sentences long! What part of "You can already get an unlimited supply for 300-something each" is too hard for you to understand?!
  15. Pfft, the "no gravestone" was either a stupid lie or you not reading the updates at all. Everyone gets a gravestone.
  16. How is that any different from the wilderness?
  17. As for you pures and people who refuse to do quests, this is for you: If you ignore a part of the game, expect part of the game to ignore you.
  18. Jagex has thought of this, I'm sure. After all, they have several worlds dedicated to running  And no, Laws will not raise that high. You can already get an unlimited supply for 300-something each. In fact, all of your price fluctuations are greatly exaggerated and will never happen. This is just another Doomsday rant about how the economy, skilling, and everything will die with an update.
  19. Tell me what exactly what you did to PK that isn't in Bounty Hunter?
  20. It's an unecessary risk that few, if any, people would take. Since you didn't answer my question the first time I asked it, I'll ask it yet again. If you were a RWT'er, which would you rather do? Trade in, say, Varrock or conduct a PK-trade in the wilderness? I know what *I* would choose and I am fairly sure I know which one you would choose, as well. You know, I would too. But seeing as how unbalanced trading is being removed as well, that argument goes out the door. If you left wilderness the way it was they would have no choice but to use it to trade. No, you wouldn't drive them to less-efficient forms of money-making. You'd drive them to a game with more efficient means of money making. You see, fishing, mining and woodcutting (As well as flax picking, although not technically a skill) were the main choices because they required the least amount of monetary investment (All you need is a cheap bronze axe/pickaxe or a net) and the least amount effort (Click once, wait for inventory to fill up, run to bank, run back to tree and repeat) in comparison to the profit to be had making them. All other skills require some type of intermediate good, which is then processed into the final good. And, even then, the profits aren't that good unless you happen to collect every ingredient/material yourself. Since we know that these weren't bots but, as Jagex decided to label them, 'Chinese sweatshop workers', everything. If you were a 'sweatshop owner' why would you waste your time on a game in which the real life profits are lower than the profits to be had elsewhere? You wouldn't. The same reason why most people in real life are forced to take a less-beneficial job when they get fired from their first. And what makes you think the RWTers aren't already on the other games where they can make a profit? Most of the RWTer sites I've seen have services available for several games.
  21. ANY form of item transferring has been changed! Dropping, staking, dying, and soon to be trading. Just because few RWTers went to the wilderness to die doesn't mean it should be left untouched. If it was left the way it was, then the wilderness would be the only way to transfer items and WOULD NOT STOP RWTers! The whole reason for all the changes! And you claim RWTers took a risk in the wilderness? Pfft. You obviously haven't tried to PK on a below 1000 population world that wasn't an official PKing world. Good luck trying to find another PKer in that ghost world. No, they wouldn't have. There's a reason why auto'ers engaged in the activities they did whilst ignoring the rest-- Because other skills are simply too labor/time intensive to be able to turn any kind of real life profit profit in doing them. I mean, since you mentioned it, what other skills were auto'ers going to turn to? Crafting? Smithing? Fletching? Hunter? Slayer? I really want to know. That sentence is partially correct. Autoers did engage in certain skill because others are too labor/time intensive. But that's because there are better activities to create a profit! Once you remove those activities, necessity will drive them to use the less-efficient forms of money-making. As for being labor/time intensive, what's all that mean to a never-resting bot?
  22. I'm going to copy-and-paste one of my responses from another anti-Revenant thread here, mainly because it's hard to write another post that illustrates my idea so clearly.
  23. Screw saying the Revenants replaced PKers and should therefore be as weak as them, okay? That basis of the Wilderness was that it would be a hazardous place to go in. Just because PKers weren't as dangerous as Revenants are now, doesn't mean the Wilderness should be nerfed back to the risk-less area it used to be. If anything, the Revenants have brought the Wilderness closer to what it should've been when it was introduced. A deadly land offering no mercy to the bold adventurer.
