  1. Now for something I discovered to add on to this very clever find: If no one can tell by now, I'm fairly certain summonign will have to do with the Mahjarrat. By the way, this clue was found by talking to Hazelmere after beating "The Path of Glouphrie". I screenied this a few months ago and posted it into a topic that died out. That is a very good find, but not everything the Chaos Elemental says has to do with one update, but most of the upcoming ones. This looks like more information on the new quest to do with Slayer than summoning. Great find, though.
  2. I didn't know the spartan laser, energy sword, and gravity hammer were in doom. My bad, I forgot to include [/sarcasm] at the end for you people who don't understand it.
  3. Don't tell anyone, but that was me :-$
  4. It's Ogre Wigs. Part of the E is blocked by the tack, so it looks like an L. Also, the ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâé Balnea is an anagram for Balance.
  5. Sudoku is a type of puzzle where there is a 3x3 grid with smaller grids also containing 3x3 grids, where numbers 1-9 are used. These numbers can only appear once in each smaller grid and only once in both horizontol and vertical lines going accros the bigger grid. They simply chucked chaos in front of it so it ties in with the chaos elemental. They also replaced the numbers with runes. Why has jagex done it so 2 runes are aloud to appear in each column/grid. They did not replace the numbers with runes. In fact, it's not even a sudoku puzzle. It's a hidden message.
  6. It's definitely a mind rune... Either way, they already figured out the sudoku The life rune has 12. How the hell do you figure that that is more likely then a Mind Rune? I agree, it's either the Mind Rune or a newer version of the Life Rune. We'll see in 2 months \
  7. Maybe you should have posted it as soon as you had it all figured instead of asking for credit first. Anyone else think that those rocks from the new desktop image might have something to do with those rocks north of Falador? Yeah, I shoulda. Anyways, I think I am officially the first one (as in, I have created a thread first) to discover who the man in the wallpaper is. It's Tarn Razorlor. Here's my thread on the RSOF 16-17-767-54409251 As for the rocks, I think they are the 'one-eyed lymstone men' mentioned by the fairies.
  8. I've added the Dread Wolf as the possible answer. It would keep in line with the Spirit Wolf. Thanks. I wouldn't try spending time on the last two. I think they are there to trick us, because they have an X next to each of them and are somewhat long. And if you didn't know already, the circled letters spell Lucien, the Majharrat you talk to to start the Temple of Ikov quest.
  9. As I said, I will be doing only summoning related clues. I already know 95% of the secrets on the noticeboard (there are probably more anagrams to discover in the To-Do list.)
  10. EDIT: Removed all this because it was posted up above. Damn my need for actually typing the answers rather than copying and pasting it, such as the quote above.
  11. Jagex has always controlled the economy. And before someone flames me with "You idiot, it's a player controlled market!" just shut up for a minute, okay? Jagex has always controlled prices with how much the general store sells them for, how much the 'official' store sells them for, drop rates, and alchemy rates.
  12. That's probably me. I have a thread with 2k+ views on references to summoning, one of which is that Chaos Elemental quote.
  13. \ I could post all the answers I know here, but only if I get some credit :-w
  14. I know like 95% of the entire noticeboard's secrets. - The hidden name - The barcode - A theory on the whistle, which is very good - The Rock Rald (It's actually half of the Varrock Herald) and the message contained in it - The morse code on the To-Do list, and some theories about the message - And last but not least, the Sudoku puzzle. The real REAL answer Only thing I don't know is the yellow sticky note, and some anagrams in the To-Do list PM on the forums or ingame if you want answers. The forum message is your best bet though.
  15. A piece of trivia for people who hardly played RSC. In RuneScape Classic, players had the ability to chose their class. One choice was to be a Necromancer, and gave players a higher starting level in Necromancy (the original Magic skill). When the class system was removed, all necromancers became Mages. You also forgot to mention Melzar the Mad and Tarn Razorlor, as both are necromancers. And totally forgot about the whole Necromancer's Tower.
  16. Lol. In fairness it is not your place to decide such things, it is up to mods. And there was never any discussion over the validity of your thread. My point was you called someone esle mister obvious for saying the dev diary was a clue, when in fact most of what you had listed at that point was directly mentioned or easily found i association with the dev diary, whihc makes it no less obvious. Anyway as of yet you haven't got The Necromancer near ardougne who summons stuff or the Wizard from Zorge Flesh Eaters who was a necromancer. And the dark wizard in the wizards tower who summoned the demon and used to summon imps. All of which are further pointers towards summoning I hereby refer you to the Forum Rules 2.2 - Stay on Topic In truth, I can control what is posted on my thread if the discussion goes off topic. If we're talking about whether a gun (mini-dwarf cannon or whatever) should be added into the game and someone says "Yes, and while we're at it let's add nukes. Because nuclear weapons control the world," most likely the conversation would turn to a flame war about America or something. I can end that conversation because that discussion is not only a flame war, but has gone off topic (key words there) then I can tell you to stop that conversation because it is off topic. That is the last warning for you and everyone else. No more discussing how "most of my list" is in the development diary. As for the necromancer and Zogre Flesh Eaters quest, they have little to do with the summoning skill as they make nothing related to it and are just undead creatures. If we were to include it, we might as well include the skeletons, ghosts, and zombies that have roamed RuneScape since the dawn of the game. While Malignus also summons stuff and I have him listed, he actually says he might teach us the skill. If you find a link between the necromancer and him mentioning summoning, you can post it here. Make sure you quote the entire sentence. I'll go and look for something he might mention of it.
  17. That's what it's there for. "Rule 10 - Misuse of Customer Support You must not misuse RuneScape Customer Support. This includes threatening or reporting an innocent person, supplying false information and abusing Jagex staff."
  18. Um, it's called the Blast Furnace? If smelting is too slow, then get out of Al Kharid and go to Port Phasmatys. Or better yet, use Superheat Item. Ye, but I mean for every furnace in runescape. That defeats the whole purpose of the Blast Furnace, let alone the fact that high smithing is meant to actually be an accomplishment. If you want an easy skill, go train cooking or fletching.
  19. I wonder what happened to the little 'Misuse of Customer Support' rule that you can report others for.... Do you have a smudge on your monitor that blocks your view of it?
  20. I think that every first-person shooter is copying DOOM because they all have the same weapons. With the exception of WW2 fps games... They're all the exact same.
  21. Um, it's called the Blast Furnace? If smelting is too slow, then get out of Al Kharid and go to Port Phasmatys. Or better yet, use Superheat Item.
  22. Even though he means well, Firsttsurugi's post will be the last one on the topic of the "validity" of my thread. As such, any other continued arguments against or in defense of my thread is now off limits as it does not contribute to the discussion of the summoning update. Anything that violates that will be flagged as spam.

Yes, your friend is an extremely honest player because he goes out and breaks the rules with real world trading. Then you blame Jagex for not banning the bot that he bought from. It's not "If they ban all bot then my friend wouldn't be banned," it's "If my friend didn't cheat, he wouldn't be banned." You fail. And to the people who keep mentioning the IPs, SHUT UP! As if Jagex hadn't thought of that, you small-minded people! Learn about damn proxies then you come back and tell me if they can ban an IP addresses.
