  1. Here is the thing, if I wanted a break from skilling, then I would just log off. I am logged on at that time for the specific reason to skill. If I wanted an interruption, I would log out and do something else. The sole reason that I am skilling at that time is because I want to skill not get warped to Scaperune. I say death to them all, even though I don't mind the maze or the classroom too much. Makes me wonder what's worse: Staring at a screen for so long with endless clicking, or getting pissed off when you have to spend 5 minutes doing a random because it interrupted your mindless grinding.
  2. But you also have to think about the other macroers. The ones that aren't there for RWT. People who use macros to train their accounts.
  3. What the hell updates are you talking about?
  4. Randoms were not only to deter macroers, but also to break the monotony of constant skill grinding.
  5. I can name several semi-popular games that lack non-combat skills. The private server you played can be compared to MapleStory, just some PvP grind game. Just because MapleStory was centered around PvP doesn't mean that RuneScape can take a turn for the worse and head in that direction, though.
  6. You think I can post three posts without reading your damned stupid thread? I didn't say every skill either, I said every skill you can make profit off of. You said non-combat skills, which is pretty much more than 3/4 of the skills. And it doesn't matter if fishing, wc, etc. was removed because they'll move onto the other skills that will provide them with an income. That spreads to every skill, except agility and healthpoints. Even though you technically didn't say every skill, it would become every skill. And stop avoiding my question and answer it.
  7. Now tell me, in your honest opinion, what makes more sense. Both in preserving the game and ensuring the end of real-world trading. Removing every skill that you can make a profit in (everything but Agility) or removing and replacing the Wilderness with a lame version of PKing?
  8. The point of all the anti-rwt updates was not to "make it harder for auto'ers to actively participate in those skills." It was to ELIMINATE the REASON as to why there are autoers. Destroy their purpose. If you removed skills it would not remove RWT. And they way you say it, it's common sense to remove skills and not the Wilderness... I don't think Jagex is the only one who is going to great lengths to attack RWT....
  9. RuneScape can exist without the Wilderness (I'm not saying pking because it still exists, in a sad state.) But, it cannot exist without skills.
  10. This guy just got owned...
  11. Yes, it does count as your kill. Whoever does the most damage gets half the xp, and whoever finishes it off gets the other half.
  12. ^It's a shame that people have become so stupid and lazy that they are unable to be self-sufficient.
  13. Health Points is least updated \
  14. I'd like to see this implemented in the game. As for a toggle, NO. that eliminates the point of people seeing your total so they don't call you a noob. It should be mandatory. Noob: Ha, you level 10 I can own you Lev 10: Pfft, my total is 1000 more than you. You're only 50 combat levels more. (Noob has his Total Level Display toggled Off) Noob: What total? You're just a noob. And anyways, why does there need to be a toggle for everything? This isn't CustomScape, people...
  15. I actually don't use Tip.It anymore for the Quest Guides. I use one where it has the difficulty and the amount of time it takes. Some guides on Tip.It rate quests hard, when this other guide has 1 star on difficulty and 4 (out of 5) on length.
  16. The capes are supposed to show your achievement, not be a super-cape. Wanna hear a good comparison? Party Hats... Useless stats, but widely recognized as a symbol of wealth.
  17. Oh noes! Jagex is trying to control their own game?! What is this world coming to!!! And I don't see how it affects runners of any sort or will. Jagex has thought about rune running and will have something for it when the trade restriction comes out in January.
  18. Aw, dangit. I was about to post a thread on this same topic.
  19. I think that pic comes from the picture downloads off the RS website. That pic is called Invisibility Potion, or somesuch thing. It's been there for ages.
  20. Ruined? Sure RuneScape has gone to the dogs recently, but that's nothing compared to what happened to RSC. The game got left in the dust because of RWTers, for god's sakes! Be glad Jagex didn't shut down RS2 for the same reason.
  21. There will be life runes. If they weren't going to put them into the skill they would not have talked about them in the first Development Diary for the skill. Who says it has to be magic to use runes? It's just a raw material used for a skill, not necessarily magic. They mentioned Life Runes because they were part of the early development of Summoning. Now they changed their mind and won't have it. Jeeze, spend 5 seconds and read a little.
  22. Second Life by Linden Labs does this exact same thing, and it's a highly successful MMO.
  23. Ooh, nice find. You wouldn't mind if I posted a link to your thread from mine, would you?
